“After selecting Origin Bifold Doors i was introduced to this company by the Origin website as my local supplier. The doors were fitted in 2017 and all seemed good until the weather turned colder and I started getting condensation on the inside of the threshold and I noticed that the foam gaskets had shrunk. I called Ekco who replaced the gaskets under warranty and said that would cure the condensation problem. Unfortunately it didn't and the gaskets continue to shrink and have had to be replaced almost annually. I've had several different excuses for the condensation but in an effort to cure the problem the doors were removed and refitted in February this year which we hoped had done the trick but again as the weather turned the condensation came back, the foam had shrunk and I also noticed a gap between the threshold and the side wall had opened up and water was pooling on the outside of the threshold. This suggests to me that something has sunk so I again contacted Ekco who responded by saying as the doors had been refitted there was nothing else they could do and I've had too many visits so they would only come back if I paid a £250 fee. They were happy to order new foam under warranty but I either have to fit it myself, pay someone else or pay them £250. They now also say that the condensation could be caused by the construction methods of the extension and the foam shrinkage could be within tolerance. So if the extension is not suitable for the doors why was this not found on the initial survey or the initial fitment or even the second fitment? And why does the foam gasket manufacturer state that the foam will only shrink if it is incorrectly fitted or overstretched? I will not be paying these jokers a single penny more. The number of visits is down to the poor fitting and has been an ongoing issue from the start. I've requested a copy of the fitting warranty twice but been ignored both times and it is not available on the website, nor are they members of any trade association so you are basically at their mercy. Do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company, they may be fine when things are going well and they will happily take your money but when things go wrong they don't want to know (unless it can be fixed with a couple of cans of expanding foam and some silicone).”

“Can’t thank Ekco enough for the help they gave us when our joiner couldn’t get the big fold windows we needed, Ekco were true to their word and had our doors within 2 weeks, very high quality and they look superb. Very special thanks go to Michelle who kept us informed and up to date from the start, very helpful and professional and it’s because of her we will be back next year for Ekco to do our kitchen. Also a mention to Brian and Jordon who came to fit the doors and were also excellent and have done a great job as the doors look amazing”

“Unfortunately had the worst service from Ecko. Bought a Door and Window from them. Sales staff were amazing and knowledgable but after that... if i could rate them - I would. The fitting... neither the door nor window fitted the space. The vents scratched the lintel of both. Thw window is damaged. I tried to get things resolved but they ignore emails and calls. Neither are fixed. I dont normally say this, but I would genuinely avoid at all costs.”

“Ecko designed and installed our bathroom over a year ago - it has been absolutely perfect since then, no issues at all, not even with the sealants. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants good quality, professional service and a beautiful bathroom.”

“We recently had our kitchen done by ecko. Honestly from the very beginning I knew they would be outstanding. From the moment I walked in the showroom I knew that would be where we would choose. They really did design our dream kitchen. We were so impressed we ended up getting our kitchen, bifolding doors and flooring all from them. From design to completion they were amazing. The kitchens are such high quality and look even more amazing in reality than they do in the design pictures. The kitchen fitter, Matt, was outstanding - such attention to detail and an absolute perfectionist. And a lovely guy to work with. We couldn’t fault our kitchen, we absolutely love it and it has transformed our home into an open plan living area that has impressed everyone who has visited. Many people have asked us who did it! We couldn’t have asked for anything more - the quality of the service and product from start to finish was amazing! Would recommend them without hesitation!”

“had an wonderful experience working with the Ekco team on my new kitchen and bathroom. From the initial meeting throughout the whole design process and then the installation itself. The designers were friendly and created exactly what I was after, the installers did a great job and were very neat and professional. I will definitely use them in the future and I highly recommend them! Thank you Ekco!”

“Ekco helped us design a terrific kitchen and installed it quickly and effectively. The fitters were nice guys, turned up on schedule and left the place clean and tidy at the end of the day. Small things like wearing overshoes to protect the carpet were appreciated and helped keep stress levels down. The Pronorm cabinets and worktop, and Siemens appliances are all good quality. Ekco also provided excellent aftercare when we had a couple of minor problems develop. Overall, I'd highly recommend ekco for your project.”

“Excellent Service! Refreshing to have a Kitchen fitted and they actually stayed on until it was finished unlike past companies that keep leaving for other jobs.. Attention to detail was brilliant and the kitchen is top quality and within our budget. Good value, great service and knowledgeable staff.. Defo be using them again... will be looking to get them to do our Garden Office next spring...”

“Having had our Kitchen refitted by EKCO and been delighted with the results we had no hesitation in having EKCO back to refit our cloakroom. The whole process was very easy and straightforward - from the initial visit to assess the job, the design and subsequent design discussion through to the actual fitting. EKCO are able to attend to all aspects of the refit including the flooring, re-plastering of the ceiling and any electrical fittings so the relevant contractors are available when they are needed, which makes the whole process extremely smooth and timely. EKCO has access to a wide range of quality sanitary ware, furniture and fittings which means they can price jobs to suit a range of budgets. All the EKCO contractors and fitters we have had dealings with have been extremely professional and friendly - they work to a very high standard. We have recommended EKCO to our friends and neighbours and would have no hesitation in having them back to refit our en-suite and bathroom when the time comes.”

“Windows and doors fitted February 2018. Most windows had very little insulation, one window had none. This has now been rectified but it has taken 8 months. Still waiting for a replacement glazed unit for one window. This has been outstanding since April 2018. Front door doesn't keep out the draught, notified of this in February 2018. An inspection from the supplier of the door was commissioned in October 2018 but to date I have been unable to get sight of this report. Still awaiting end caps and gutter brackets - these were being sourced in September. Despite requests for a receipted vat invoice, installation guarantee, suppliers guarantee, door report and Code of Conduct for glazing installers I am still waiting. No protection to floors, poor communication as to when works/remedial works will start, and more importantly when all remedial works will be completed. There are more problems but too many to itemise. Wouldn't have given 1 star but had to to leave a review.”
