“Horrible customer service. We have tried a dozen times to get service on our home to fix a problem that should not have occurred in a new home - they were the company that did the initial (crappy) work. Have YET to receive a call back. I keep getting "they will call back to schedule." WHEN??? I am not holding my breath.”

“Nice counter staff but dont be fooled with trusting pricing . Continuously they overprice standard product by enormous percentage then threaten court when caught out . I have paid my last account bill today and will never return . Nice to your face but shafting you !”

“Mick at the Hertford branch was very helpful with a great deal of knowledge. I’m a male and been in the business for 15 years and this was a top experience. Mick kindly took me for a Buck’s Fizz at the blue oyster club which I enjoyed very much. 5 star rating great service 😘”

“I visited Edmundson Electricals at Brewery Road, London N7 on 30 jan 2021. Mark and his team provide a level of knowledge and customer service that is second to none and so rare in the current day They provide the customer with the benefit of their knowledge, and are happy to spend the time to discuss options if more than one is available and to provide their recommendation, always keeping in mind what’s best for the customer. Every person who works there is also extremely friendly. I would keep going back to them for all my electrical needs, even though they have closed their Pratt Street branch which was nearer to me.”

“I visited their Croydon Branch today 4 September 2020 to purchase some cable. I purchased 2 drums 100 meter each of Armoured cable. Each drum was over 32 kilos. I am an old man with back and beck issue. These drums were brought to the counter and I was pointed towards these. I was struggling big time to move these from the shop towards my car, sales assistant was watching but offered no help. I managed to bring these to my car and struggled to lift these to put these in my car. Again no help offered. Very very poor customer service. I was served by Shanes according to the receipt. Since then I have been suffering from back and neck pain. I have been in retail for a long time. My staff and I will go an extra mile to help our customers but I think Edmundson staff do not believe in helping their customers. Very disappointed. Will never use this branch again and tell others also not to go there. Company Head office needs to take action and improve their customer service in this competitive market.”

“Today 4 Sep 2020 had an unfortunate experience of visiting their Croydon Branch. I purchased 100 meter drum of 4 core SWA 2.5 mm and 100 meter drum of 1.5 mm SWA. Both weighed over 32 kilos each. When item arrived it was pointed out to me. I am an old man so I was struggling to move these two drums from the shop to my car. I was being watched by the sales person, namley, Shanes according to the invoice. No help whatsoever was offered either to move these heavy drums from the shop to the car or to help me to put these in the boot of my car. I struggled big time but managed to load these into my car and since then my back and neck have been badly hurting. Very very poor and inconsiderate customer service. I have been in retail for a very long time and my staff and I would go an extra mile to help our customers. Edmundson supposed to be a very reputable company but my experience has been completely different today. I have mentioned this to a few others and they are horrified that, although being watched no help was offered. I will not recommend this branch even to my enemies. Staff seriously need customer care training.”

“Edmundsons and CEF will disappear. Their customer response and pricing is meaningless. I’m in the trade as a professional electrician in smaller jobs. Both companies provide quotations with discounts that are meaningless,,,,when my customers who are not stupid look at prices on the internet. Recently I requested a quote from edmundsons Electrical, as a trade customer, which was £30 plus more expensive than buying the same items themselves. Gone are the days of smoke an mirrors.”

“As a professional electrician I decided to start buying from EDMUNDSONS electrical., I started with pricing requests on small stuff. Every time, thus far, I sent in a pricing request I had to call them to chase it up. Their quotes showed huge discounts that were meaningless, as I could get the same stuff retail less than they sell it to the trade. My customers aren’t stupid and they do look at pricing on the web. Without doubt within 5 years they and CEF will disappear,,, I’m just sorry for the staff.”

“Terrible customer service! I phoned the Wimbledon branch to find out cable price. The price was ok for me so I made my way to them. I took me about 30 mins. On-site surprise! Sales member advised that the price which was given to me over the phone was for different cable, the price for my cable was much higher. They admitted that their colleague on the phone made a mistake however they can not sell that cable for the price given over the phone. No respect for customers. I wasted very valuable business time. No more shopping at Edmundsons.”
