“Absolute pleasure dealing with Jonathan Edinburgh watch company came highly recommend as a trusted dealer and lived up to the recommend without fault . Jonathan was very polite and knowledgeable and right from the off he made me feel relaxed about my purchase. He replied to me personally and and gave me all of the details and history of the Time piece that I had enquired about . He also gave a small discount off the asking price for the watch which was gratefully received . “Having been lucky enough to purchase several nice watches over the years, and typically from the same source, it was an off-piste venture for me to locate the right watch, and from a dealer I had not transacted with before. I have to say, that it was a pleasure from start to finish. Jonathan and I connected on several levels, but more so when it came to our shared passion for watches. His knowledge is unsurpassed, he made me feel at ease with the long-distance purchase (I had a part exchange which I posted up to Scotland initially) which was received on time and the item was immaculate, as described through our discussions. I have no hesitations to recommend EWC and I hope to continue our relationship as I seek to add to my collection in the future. 5 stars all the way!”

“I met Jonathon the owner for the first time and found him to be an absolute gentleman, no pressure whatsoever into buying a watch he gave the full history and all the paper work and answered any questions I had regarding the watch which was a lovely “Kermit”, a friend who knows his watches said it would certainly be one of the best he has ever seen and had no work done whatsoever. The watch looked as new as you could probably get. Not only would I recommend the Edinburgh Watch Company I would certainly purchase any future watches I may want. “I contacted Jonathan at EWC after watching many of his YouTube videos & the fact that he came highly recommended by an ex dealer Paul Thorpe. I found Jonathan very professional and honest to deal with. He gave me a lot of detail about the watch I was intending to purchase for my wife & sent me a personal video about the watch. I must say it didn't take long for my wife & I to make the decision to purchase the watch in question from EWC. I will say I found the whole process very easy and without any pressure to purchase the watch. When the watch arrived it was exactly as described in mint condition with box & papers included & very well packaged for safety purposes. I would not hesitate to contact Jonathan if you are in the market for a quality watch at an honest price, I will defiantly be using his company again. Many Thanks Jonathan for a pleasant transaction. “My husband has been very jealous since our son brought a watch from Jonathan at Edinburgh Watch Company two years ago. Since then my husband has been watching Edinburgh watch companies website, and he noticed a watch that took his eye last year and he showed me. Unknown to my husband I contacted Jonathan who helped me keep it as complete surprise, my husband was devastated to see it sold but on Christmas day he was stunned. I can not thank Jonathan enough for his help, expertise, professionalism and support, I highly recommend him and his company.”

“This was my first major watch purchase and Jonathan was nothing short of amazing! I was obviously concerned when parting with so much money on a remote purchase on a company/man I had never met but Jonathan was amazingly reassuring and was never more than a call/message away. He even called me post purchase to make sure everything was ok. A lovely man and next time I’m in Edinburgh I’m sure to message him and invite him for a drink such is how the business relationship developed. Oh and the watch....amazing, true to spec and well priced from a man who truly loves his craft. Marc”

“As we set off for the day, the thought of buying another watch couldn't have been further from my mind. We make our way around the arena I spot the stall of Edinburgh Watch Co (EWC) at the other end of the venue. I quietly said to myself I'll have a sneaky wee peek when the wife's not looking. Two rotating glass displays with three tiers in each, I wasn't expecting to see anything exciting, but let's have a browse anyway. Tags Heuer, Tudor, Rolex. all on display. OK, now my eyes and excitement perk up a little. But that was just the appetisers, the main course begins when I start to chat with the gentleman who owns this stall. He introduces himself as Jonathan Gilbert, and begins to tell me the history behind the watch I was looking at, with passion and detail that doesn't come from just reading and repeating it back, but genuine enthusiasm and desire for high end luxury watches. Something I haven't come across in a long time. He proceeds with a small explanation of how this company began and the vision he has in mind. I could chat and listen for hours. As we start to come to a conclusion on our deal, I am informed he doesnt have the box or the paperwork and also has no switch capabilities with him but could do a bank transfer on Monday morning, and he would be happy to accept a verbal sale and if that worked for me. I gave Jonathan all the relevant details he asks for and conclude our deal with a nice firm handshake. Stating I will be in touch when I have transfered the funds, and he can inform me of the tracking information. When the watch arrives, again I am pleasantly surprised as I find a note from Jonathan thanking me for my custom and wishing me many years of enjoyment with my watch. In future I will be recommending EWC and in particular Jonathan to anyone who is looking to purchase a luxury watch. With second to none knowledge and customer service to match.”
