“Purchased an oak 5 panelled internal door to match a number of doors we’d purchased a few years ago with the same company with very pleasing results. Good value for money and excellent quality. Prompt delivery. Will definitely use again.”

“Delivery was fine. However one door damaged and two doors packaged incorrectly. On contacting Doors of Distinction £50 offered for damaged door. No recompense for severe inconvenience caused to ourselves. Appears no responsibility taken by Doors of Distinction only supplier offering us recompense. Very poor customer service when problem occurs.”

Hi, We are sorry to hear you of your disappointment with the service you have received. Looking further into this, we can see that we at Doors of Distinction have arranged for replacements for the two incorrect doors to be checked and sent to you ASAP. In regard to the damaged door for which you requested a discount. Whilst we do discuss these issues with the relevant suppliers, all offers of discount or compensation are offered directly from ourselves and can see a refund of £72 inc VAT has been offered to you for the minor issue with one of your doors. We always do or best to resolve issues for our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible and can only apologise if you feel that this has not been the case. Many Thanks DOD

“I needed two oak glazed fire doors urgently because another company has disappointed us with our initial order. I came across Doors of Distinction via a Google search. From help with selection ordering invoicing and delivery, Alan did a stellar job to ensure that we were informed of every step leading to a quick turnaround so that we received our doors on time to meet the timescales of our builder. I will not hesitate to use this company again and would highly recommend them to you.”

“Doors of Distinction are a first class company providing sensibly priced quality doors and accessories and an amazing delivery service. Have used them three times to date and will continue to do do. Their staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products. The range of door widths and heights make it easy to choose for modern and older properties plus they can make bespoke.”

“We’ve had two different door types fitted by different joiners. Both have commented of the high quality of the doors and furnishings. Both times the doors were delivered in a few days. I can’t recommend Doors of Distinction highly enough.”

“Standard doors decent quality for the price, but took nearly a month to be delivered because they were out of stock (despite being told at point of sale they were in stock). Don’t bother if you need bespoke doors. It took over 2 months to get our bespoke doors ordered, and that’s after constant chasing, and now will take around 5 months to be made and delivered”

Hi Tony, Please accept our apologies for the delay with the delivery of the standard-sized doors ordered. Regretfully, there was a slight delay with stocks from the supplier. Regarding the bespoke doors, technical drawings need to be produced which are then sent to the customers to check the details, sign and then return to ensure all details are correct and as per customers' requirements. These drawings can take some time to produce. We can see from this order that there were some subsequent changes requested in these sizes by yourself which did therefore need altering, for which new drawings were produced. Regarding production and delivery timeframes for bespoke doors, these do take time to manufacture and despatch which we do make clear to all customers at the time of ordering. Again, apologies for the slight delay in the delivery of the standard-sized doors ordered and we are pleased to hear that you are happy with the quality of the doors supplied to you.
