What a fantastic company! Fully advised of progress of arrival time and identified the problem and resolved it quickly. The engineers were polite putting on over shoe covers to enter the property and dealt with the problem in a professional and expeditious manner. I fully recommend them and it with her oven goes wrong again would have no hesitation in calling them.

My experience of Domex was entirely flawless. Once booked I was kept fully informed of the appointment and the engineer arrived on time, and was clear and efficient in resolving the problem.

I contacted Domex on 21/01/23 to book an engineer to come and look at my Belling oven. Tony arrived on 23/01/23 as arranged. He fitted the new element, assessed/checked the safety of the oven, grill and hobs. He also provided further advice so I knew what amp to pick up. Sorted my cooker out at a really reasonable price as well. Very happy. Tony was really professional and friendly to chat with. I’d definitely recommend Domex. I’ll be using them again if I need any of kitchen appliances fixed.

I was so upset that I had to throw a lot of food away having just filled up the fridge and freezer due to it being Christmas. My Miele fridge/freezer had basically died. Domex sent an engineer named Vlady to repair it. I was so impressed with his knowledge, he explained why and what the problem was and that he’ll get it up and running again. Not only did he repair it but it’s working as if it’s brand new. I can’t thank Vlady enough. He was polite and respectful and he is an asset to Domex. I was thinking of buying a new fridge/ freezer as I didn’t think it would ever work again. Thankyou Vlady and thankyou Domex. I will be recommending you to my friends and family.

Really pleased. Prices including calm out element were competitive. Got an appointment date a week or so in advance but asked to go on a cancellation and got a text and then an appointment the next day. Nice engineer, seemed to know what he was doing and diligent - cleaning and preventing any damage. Fridge fixed and good price

The lovely engineer Oosmin arrived on time and at the time stated …very nice person a pleasure to meet he was able to repair my machine on the day as he was carrying the spare part great job very efficient very pleased

I had a problem with the motor of my Smeg Fridge freezer. The fridge was not working properly and was making very loud noises. Domex quickly arranged a visit by one of their Engineers, who diagnosed a problem with the motor. A replacement was sourced quickly and today, within less than 3 weeks, the motor was speedily and efficiently replaced by the same engineer.. The Engineer was pleasant helpful and very efficient. I would certainly use Domex again.

If I could leave no stars I would! Disgusting service, engineer broke my working appliance that had only been booked in for a broken ice machine. Didn’t tell me the appliance wasn’t working, found out at 10.30 at night when I realised my freezer was defrosting. Lost a whole fridge freezer full of food, had to dash about moving medicines at night as a consequence. Rude customer service, telling me it wasn’t their fault and will not pay any money for the loss of food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Do not use!!!

Dear Mrs Crombie, The appliance was in a state of repair. We did not break the appliance. Your plan under D&G does not cover you for food loss nor would we. The manufacturers user manual states the following "Do not keep sensitive products requiring controlled temperatures (vaccines, heat sensitive medication, medical supplies, etc.) in the refrigerator." Victor was very polite, thorough and knew how to take my hoover washing machine apart and fix it under warranty. His work was clean, tidy and vey meticulous. He sorted out the problem in around 40 minutes and had my washing machine up and running. Highly recommended engineer and extremely polite and helpful.

My 17-year-old LG Fridge Freezer (side-by-side) was leaking water from the ice dispenser - apart from that everything worked fine. Constantine from Domex was polite, tidy, efficient and very careful when dismantling the front to access the faulty ice path shutter and carry out a repair because spare parts for this model are no longer available. I was given a 11am - 3pm repair slot. He arrived at 12.10pm. I will use Domex again - my next door neighbour had recommended them for their freezer repair.

The Engineer left within 10 minutes saying he couldn't move the fridge to check out the issue. Very disappointed as we stayed in to wait for the visit and fridge still not working.

Dear Sam, I am sorry that we were not able to carry out a full diagnostic and repair yesterday. I have spoken to the engineer who attended. He says that he the appliance is standing on a slightly raised plinth ( about 2cm ) So not a standard installation. The appliance is an American style Fridge Freezer, which is on wheels. So it is a heavy appliance. He says that the appliance should be lifted off the plinth to be done safely. If he pulls the appliance, when it drops from the plinth it will cause damage to both the fridge and the flooring. The appliance is not integrated , but sits within a frame. To put the appliance back it would need to be lifted back onto the plinth. We can return to help you with the repair , but the appliance would need to be made accessible for us. As per our terms and conditions, we were not able to carry out the diagnostic, so we have not charged you If you are going to look for an alternative repair agent , our advice would be to give them this information to avoid any further disappointment.
