Place my order on the 18th of June and still hasn’t arrived on the 30th of June. No email no communication whatsoever, and the number on your website doesn’t take incoming calls. Very disappointing.

The fact that I have heard nothing from this company since ordering a desk and emailing them on several occasions and finding out the phone line doesn’t exist.....I am in the process of talking to my solicitor. This company is obviously fake and is taking money from innocent people. I will not rest until I have my money back. Horrific experience.

I ordered a very expensive chair and have sent 4 emails to get an estimated delivery date, these have all been ingnored. Cannot phone them because the number given on their website is not recognised. Please DO NOT deal with this company, you will lose your money.

I had to put in 1 star to initiate the review process. This company deserves no star whatsoever. I placed an order for a Console Table on 31st May and the money left my account that day. It’s now 24th July and to date I have received nothing and heard nothing from Direct Home Living . I have emailed and called but to no avail. I am so disappointed. Now in hands of my credit card company. Disastrous and appalling customer service. Be warned!

Appalling customer service! Debenhams advised me courier picked goods up 10 days ago been sitting in there warehouse. No deliver date given and no updates at all from staff. Spoke to a lady called sue very rude lady on the telephone. If

waited2 weeks for item to be delivered,poor communication,paid for item by PayPal ,pay after delivery,item only arrived after PayPal paid,if you don't want PayPal and then don't use it,having said that the toy box is very well built and fits in with our decor very well

....a dreadful company, ignorant of Distance Selling Laws. Unhelpful, unreliable and merchants of cheap imitations made of substandard quality, with inaccurate descriptions and photo shopped photos. Had to attain refund with external help to review the saga and the unscrupulous trading standards of Direct Home Living. Avoid if you have any alternative!

Horrendous buying experience. Sent an item that was damaged and finished appallingly.I contacted the company directly initially, who said it needed to be returned to them - return postage paid by myself - not a problem one might think - but the box would have fitted 3 adult men in it and cost more to do than the chair itself! Also - contravening the distance selling regulations. I sent photographs within 2 hours of receiving the item but were impossible to negotiate with. Kept advising me it had been checked before leaving warehouse....if it was it must have been by a man with a white stick! So, I had to raise a dispute through Paypal who also had photos and correspondence and duly refunded me swiftly. So, avoid Direct Home Living like the plague - they are unscrupulous, unhelpful and ignorant-of-the-law merchants. Also, finally, the chair - although cracked and chipped upon arrival, was not the colour shown on the webpage and the quality was cheap and very sub standard.

Hi Penny, I'm sorry to here this about your purchase from ourselves, this product was QC and we have a log of this on our system which we did state that we would kindly share you with this information. We do have our return policy on our website which you should also check when purchasing from companies. We are very grateful for the photos you sent to us regarding this. All our images are taken by professional photographers so they do correspond with any purchase which is placed with us. We have not had a problem selling these Philippe Starck replica chairs before and we do keep a log of all orders. Kind Regards

Said to be delivered and had loads of emails etc saying order dispatched and so on... then we get a silly little email saying sorry, not in stock will come in in December..... won't get it until next year!??!?

First issue is that when i sent email regarding order delivery nobody responded. I called again and was assured it would be delivered and srayed home all day and wasted mt time and ut was not delivered..As going away on Holliday i left a note on door for delivery driver not to leave item with neighbours but us exactly what he did. Left the huge package with them for all those days we qere away only to come and find box damaged. Then the quality of the chairs are not brilliant either.Can't recommend.

Firstly we received the wrong colour chair legs. I asked for them to be replaced for the correct colour and I received 1 set of legs when I had ordered 4 chairs! When I eventually received the right amount of legs they were scratched and had chunks missing out of them. Also one of the legs was a different shade to the other 3! The chairs were fairly cheap and it turns out there is a reason for this!!

The original chair I was sent was damaged. I emailed photos' across and then was asked to resend them as apparently not received. I then asked for a replacement and a date was arranged (6 days later) . I waited in all day but you messed up and could not then fulfil the order on this date. I arranged a second date for delivery of the replacement and pick up of the damaged chair - new chair arrived and was the wrong colour and no pick up of the original chair. Stephen did try to help at this point and apologised, however new chair arrived this morning with exactly the same fault as the 1st (I would have thought that would have been checked before despatch given initial issue). Really unimpressed with the customer service and quality of product. Have asked for a full refund.

WEB11274 As you may be aware I have had to contact MDM via e-mail on numerous occasions with issues -Grey Eames chairs with white ring marks -Parts that were on the instructions not included -Alfonso table damaged twice on delivery -No answer when I tried to phone number on website I would have to say that although when there was an issue, ie damaged goods, it was addressed quickly I feel these issues should not have occurred in the first place.

Awful delivered faulty bunk beds can't finish building them because the leg is the wrong one, my kids r now on mattresses on the floor they are refusing to deal with us telling us they will phone back no phone calls absolutely disgusting, gentleman on phone was really cheeky absolutely disgusted woth the way they are dealing with us awful. Now we have to rebuild them and rake pictures of where we can build them to and take pictures then what??? Trading standards I think grrrrrr
