“We had a gas fueled log burner fitted at the end of February. Just one hiccup, there was a delay on fitting as the grate had been broken on delivery to Direct Fireplaces so we had to wait a couple of weeks for the replacement. Aside from that the fitters were very polite & tidy & the result is perfect. We would reccomend this company. Would have been 5 stars but for the unfortunate delay.”

“I ordered and paid for a gas fire, five days later it was delivered to my house. A week later it was fitted. It is perfect and very smart. The coals look very real and the heat is wonderful.”

“Great supplier, great showroom I did arrange to pick fire up as I was local. Unfortunately it didn’t fit as packaged very well. It was no trouble for them to drop off in their van.”

“Excellent selection of fire places, no matter whether you want something modern or more traditional. The people were so professional and friendly, and spent considerable time with me answering my many questions and I never felt rushed or pushed to purchase. They went out of their way to sort things for me and I ended up with the perfect fireplace. Installation was perfect!”

“I hesitated some time before deciding to replace my electric flame effect fire of 14 years; but when I did decide I contacted four well known electric fire outlets which included Direct Fireplaces : there was no competition Direct Fireplaces were not only more helpful, quicker on delivery but nearly £100 cheaper. As I said no competition. Go direct!”

“I have ordered a fireplace and it's been installed today I'm devestated as it's two completely different colours This is disgraceful”

Hi Andrea, We have tried contacting you to confirm whether everything is now okay with the fireplace in question. As our colleagues in the sales team will have advised, and as stated in the limestone unpacking guide which is available on our website, "the stone may be wet when you receive it; therefore individual components will appear different in colour. Any colour variation will gradually disappear after installation". Naturally, if there is anything else that we can do to help at this stage then please do let us know.
