“I DO NOT recommend doing the online course! Support was shocking and the video quality was bad. They’ve had £2,800 of my money and even their dealing with my complaint has been shocking. They have now blocked me from their social media pages. They told me they got someone in to specially film the videos just for me, to then tell me it wasn’t specially for me they just sent me a recording of and 1 on 1 lesson they did with another student. I have emails where they have lied to me and made accusations that I “couldn’t afford it” the way they have treated me especially after I have complained has been disgusting and do not expect this level of disrespect from any company especially one that has taken my money and refused to refund even though they have breached their T&C’s. Next step is court! I have been in touch with the governing body and trading standards. I’m sure they are great in the studio but online I would not do it, save your money!! Also they will say you can do it all in your own time however the videos expire after 7 days… work that out?! I’m not allowed a refund.”
“I’m on the 3 month VVIP course with DFMA academy and my first month on the course in Bournemouth was amazing! I didn’t want to leave 😫 All the tutors are fantastic and so helpful and patient and the aftercare so far has been wonderful! Would absolutely recommend it! “I did the Hair Session Styling course because as a Makeup Artist I want to know how to style hair. I wanted to study with them as their social media presence is impeccable. I loved the way each day had a theme from Boho to Bridal to Vintage and Avant garde. We started every session with a demo and then did it ourselves. There was a box of accessories available to add to our looks which was a sweet touch. The staff were lovely and gave lots of tips and tricks of working in the industry.
