"Firstly, the Ecoair unit was the cheapest price on the internet. So took a punt and skipped Amazon to go with this retailer.
Secondly, the postage was free which was unusual for such a large item. None of the competitors offered this. The unit was delivered the next day as stated - great!
There was an additional promotion for a free weather station which was missing. Straight through on the phone to customer services who were very helpful and followed up with an email later that evening to resolve a fairly minor issue.
I didn’t expect much from the cheapest retailer on the internet but was pleasantly surprised getting the best price and the best service."
"We bought a dehumidifier from this company and couldn't be happier with the service. Communication throughout has been friendly, polite and speedy.
The one I had ordered was out of stock and they emailed me with in a day (at the weekend) to let me know this. I then changed the machine I wanted to one they had in stock and this was delivered within 3 days. We live in a remote location and it was a miracle that it got here as soon as it did. Companies usually use our location as an excuse to charge more or deliver slower but not this company.

"I bought a Meaco 12l which they showed in stock, a few days later tried to chase the delivery but they would not answer phone or email. Had to open a PayPal case to get a refund. It came out they falsely advertise cheaper than elsewhere products and when you buy one they try to sell you something else instead. Should have read the other reviews before I bought."
Hi Nick, thanks for the review. In this case we had a run on this product overnight and fell one short in being able to fulfill the order. After a short investigation upon discovering that we had fallen short of the Meaco 12L Platinum we presented a few other options for you to consider. I can understand your frustration but there is nothing sinister going on here and the prompt refund should show you that. We are certainly not 'cheating' customers. We are very established, 10 years trading, with a huge happy customer base. There are over 120 dehumidifiers to choose from on our site and we have a good stock holding of most of them, available on a next working day delivery with DPD.

"Following my purchase on 8th December 2017 and my subsequent review complaining that the promised weather station had not been delivered and that I could not get any response via telephone, e-mail or the website, I tracked down e-mail addresses for people associated with the business and threatened to refer the failings to Trading Standards. I then promptly received the weather station after waiting three months from the original purchase in December.
As well as threatening to resort to Trading Standards, I pointed out that a failure to deliver within a reasonable time is a breach of contract. I made time of the essence and reserved my contractual rights. It is regrettable that this company has to be pushed so far before it honours its contractual obligations."
"I am not happy at all. I ordered 8 units. I ordered them 48 hours ago. I paid in full for them. I paid £5,664.00 and was guaranteed that the units would be despatched on Wednesday this week. I was not told that 7 units were coming from a different warehouse and the eighth one was being sent from Holland. I was told one of them was coming from Holland and the remainder from yourselves. I was told that I would have the units yesterday. I had a man on site all day and they didn't arrive which has cost me a day’s labour for nothing. Please tell me the truth and let me know what on earth is going on.
I spent a lot of money and paid you. I expect a service for that as per your Sales Order.
I also called 3 or 4 times from 4.45pm and nobody answers????? Your web site says you close 5.30pm and your sales order says 5pm. In either case nobody answers the phone.

Hi Clifford, this is the first I am hearing that your order has been delayed. I don't feel as tho this needed to be escalated to a such a condemning review at this stage. "I paid for a current model Ecoair Mini dehumidifier as advertised, but was sent an outdated one. I would have accepted it to save the hassle of return but I found it to be faulty (the carrying handle resisted lifting as it was being raised for first use and one end broke off) so I asked D-UK to take it back for refund. They made a very fair request for photographs of the fault to be provided and these were sent by email the same day.
Ten days later, having heard nothing from them, I sent them a reminder. They replied that I needed to have EcoAir collect the unit from my house, and they assured me that the refund would be issued as soon as it was collected. Following discussions with Ecoair and some form-filling, the unit was collected at their expense and I confirmed this to D-UK. No refund or reply was received.
Over the next three weeks, several further emails and a telephone call to D-UK went unanswered, and I was starting to wonder if they were still in business. I then sent them a 'time is of the essence' demand for the refund to be provided within two days otherwise formal action would be initiated. They issued the refund the same day - almost six weeks from my initial request!
Incidentally, D-UK's "free weather station worth £29.99" wasn't received, but it can be found retailing elsewhere for £7.99 inclusive of delivery so wouldn't have been a great loss. I suggested to them that they had grossly falsified its value and, notably, this wasn't denied.

Hi, thank you for your comments. I handled your order myself, just to clarify a couple of things; there is no old version of the Eco Air Mini that I am aware of I am still confused about this claim. The stock that your unit was picked from arrived from Eco Air two weeks prior to the order. There was no damage reported when you received the item and you signed a clean POD to say that you received the item in perfect condition. Sometimes if the damage is reported within the first 24 hours we still have chance to process a claim but this wasn't the case. I know that the courier would suggest that the damage was done after the unit was taken out of the box as there is no damage on the packaging and the handle is tucked away in such a way that it would be virtually impossible to damage in transit or during the packaging process. In an effort to resolve the situation, as a good will gesture, we arranged for the unit to be collected and taken back to Eco Air. Your demands for a refund were heard and we issued a refund promptly after the unit was received back by Eco Air. Just so that you are aware of the challenges we face, the costs to our business (keeping in mind that none of this was our fault) are as follows; 20 mins on the phone giving free advice, £15 for postage on the way out, £23 for the collection (which was billed to us) as this was not a manufacturer fault, an Eco Air Mini that can't be sold on with a resale value of £149, 45 mins admin, and now a negative review. leaving us out of pocket by around £200. In an effort to be totally transparent the net profit on this item providing there are no problems is around £9. I accept that this is the nature of online retail but sometimes it is difficult to consider the challenges on the other side of the fence when are ordering online. The weather stations are sent separate from the units at the minute and this delivery was stopped when you requested a refund for the item. I find it difficult to understand how you have made an assessment as to it's value if you never actually received it. Your comments have been absorbed and taken on board by the team.
