Money scammers
My other half ordered my birthday present from them over 10days ago now
Was told by them if wasn't here for thr 10th they would refund him the full amount
Well it's now a few days down the line and was told if not here by th 21st they wil refund
I don't think so how dare you lies to your customers I deemed a refund in the full amount NOW or further action will be taken against your company and a layer will be brought in to this

“Please be very careful when buying from Debenhams. Recently purchased a watch that they have not delivered. Each time I request an update they just say that they have nothing and please wait 3 business days. If it's not resolved then please contact us again and when you do we'll ask you to wait another 3 days. Absolutely useless.
Can only agree with others and will never be buying from Debenhams again.”
“I ordered a man overcoat online, according to their recommended measurements .
On arrival I realised that wasn't the case and I have to return the parcel ASAP.
I tried to get a return order through their website but my order wasn't recognised.
I went to local Post office and returned to the original address on the parcel. Sent them the tracking order and they confirmed everything is OK and I should give 15 days for my refund.
Now after 17 days I contacted them again and they said nothing was return and they don't recognised the signature on return order basically blaming the carrier for the issue.
Please be careful !”
“If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve only received one box out of 2 of a sofa I ordered a week ago. Debenhams have £180 of my money and I have half an order. Customer service doesn’t exist, no help in either getting the rest of my order or a refund. I’ll be contact the Ombudsman to get a resolution. Daylight robbery! Do not buy from Debenhams!!!”
“Don’t buy anything from Debenhams.
Ordered a Vax vacuum cleaner and they sent me the wrong product.
They sent me the basic model instead of the max model advertised.
Customer services Darryl would not deal with it and he tried to tell me the product I had received was indeed correct.
Luckily I had screenshot my order with what was advertised on Debenhams website yet still Darryl failed to deal with it stating I have to wait and speak with another department on the 27th March! Are you customer services or not Darryl?!
One week on still not dealt with and I’m left without a vacuum cleaner!

“I wish I had read the reviews and noticed that customer services doesn’t have a telephone help line, as then I wouldn’t have made a purchase. The email responses are slow and don’t explain anything fully, one sentence, standard stock answers, just awful. No help at all really”

“I purchased a gaming chair in November for a Christmas present for my grandson and when he opened it on Christmas day it was damaged.
Waited in 2 days to have it uplifted, with no luck
Eventually got uplifted by Royal Mail 15/1/24 and still no refund received.

“I've had horrible expirience with Debenhams customer service. They are not helpful but for over 2 months were sending confusing replies to my emails. I ordered from them 3 sets of beddings and only recieved 1. They kept saying that they were investigating and after multiply emails on my side someone replied that parcel was lost in transit and asked me if I wanted items to be resent or a refund. When I asked for replacement everything started again, they said they investigating again!!! You get reply from multiply different people form their customer service and it looks like they don't even read previoisly sent emails on their side just give you generic reply. So after 2 months I haven't recieved my missing items or refund for them . Defenetely wouldn't reccomend buying anything from their website”
“Please don't order from these fraudsters. I ordered before Xmas in came different parcels, 2 from Debenhams and 3 from partners. One of the parcels had clothes labelled as 12/14 when I ordered 16/18. I messaged the partner and they said they were incorrect labelled but correct size, no such thing. I decided to send everything back the quality I'd really poor. It took me an hour, to get them all ready, then drive to the post office. Then they didn't refund all my returns
I've had to constantly chase them and the partner issued the refund request. Them they have charged me £3.98 for sending 2 parcels back. Parcels which they sent 1 item in 1 and 3 items in another not my fault that they can't send it all in one parcels,and for returns that were the incorrect size again not my fault
The CEO ignores you, they just are a terrible company. Their customer service is outsourced and they work of a script”

BEWARE!!!!
Ordered a TV unit and it arrived faulty and damaged! At first Debenhams were allowing me to return, however as I was away for Christmas I advised I could only do this after I returned. Once I returned and tried arranging for them to collect, they now no longer wish to accept a return are quoting it’s out of the 30 day period!!
Of course it’s out of the period!!! I mentioned this and it was originally fine!!!
Now Debenhams are advising that I have joined the unit wrong?? And are brushing of the fact the unit has physical damage when it arrived. Images have been sent and they are now brushing the matter under the carpet!
Their customer service is useless and I had to constantly chase up responses. I will NEVER USE DEBENHAMS again!!!

“Ordered something in December, nothing arrived, been in touch them, was asked to wait until a further date, that passed still nothing, contacted them again, now asked to wait again, now had email asking me to rate how my purchase went, surely they can read how many times I contacted them and still no parcel.
