I found the red Dashel when looking for a new helmet I’d be more likely to wear. I put some reflective stickers on it to make it into a ladybug. I love the color, fit, and the look.”

“Just purchased my second Dashel helmet, a a navy blue “2nd generation” model that comes with a couple of very welcome new features. Retaining the same cool aesthetic, Dashel helmets are the pinnacle of minimalist design, the new model features a seamlessly integrated dial fit adjuster at the back and, a seemingly, slightly longer chin strap, both ensuring a better more comfortable fit for me. Sadly my previous helmet was stolen so was unable to recycle it with the company, but the super nice team still offered me an upfront discount as a gesture of good will due to a tiny delay in shipping, hardly their fault during the Christmas holiday shutdown, but very appreciated none the less. The team was very attentive in their communication with me and friendly, adding to an all round excellent experience. Thoroughly recommended by me.”

“I bought my first Dashel carbon fibre some years ago. It is the first bicycle helmet that I actually enjoy wearing. The helmet protects me from sun, rain and wind. I was so pleased with it, I bought another one, and another one, and so on. I now have 6 Dashel carbon fibre helmets in different colours. For my newest helmet, I sized up, to wear a beanie inside the helmet in winter time. Helmet with beanie is great for cold days.”

Dear Matthias, Thankyou very much for your feedback. Glad you love the style of our helmets. Sorry to hear you had trouble with sizing initially. We very happily exchanged the Small to a Medium for you, but do let us know if you have any other problems regarding this. Sadly, shipping costs are entirely out of Dashel's control. However, our size guide and adjuster dial combined is designed to reduce returns by offering a bespoke fit. Many thanks and happy cycling!

“I buy Dashel helmets to paint them. I know they are beautiful just the way they are but that’s what I do. My 10 years old daughter wear a white one that I customized for her and she really loves it. I love the fact that they are made in United Kingdom and that they are recyclable. Very good price and very good service.”

“I was so happy to find a company that made useful products from ocean plastic! I've looked all over and most helmets only have small amounts of ocean plastic used at best, such as the hardware for the straps only. Or worse, they only offer ocean-bound plastic, which... kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth (like are they threatening to dump the plastic in the ocean if we don't buy their products?). My husband asked me to pick out an anniversary gift for myself, and Dashel was the only company that even came close to having what I wanted. Got a bit nervous with the international shipping, but my gift came in one piece, wrapped in a protective bag that said "made from ocean plastic" instead of the standard virgin plastic junk I usually get items shipped in. Even better was that the box was perfectly sized for the helmet, unlike the boxes we used to get from Amazon, even if we asked them specifically to box economically, instead of giving us huge boxes for tiny items. Seriously feels like Dashel has put genuine thought into being eco-friendly, then actually followed through. I don't love having to ship internationally, but if I have to again, then I genuinely hope I get another excuse to support them and their mission again.”
