“We used Red Anywhere Catering for our annual works do at Worthing Pier, West Sussex. We found the whole experience very easy and especially found the communication with Sophie, the Head of Events so helpful and friendly to work with. We heard nothing but compliments from all the employees that attended the event, all saying how lovely the food tasted. The whole evening ran so smoothly and took the pressure of us as the organisers, and that was all down to Sophie and her team. We hope to use Red Anywhere Catering for our future events.”

“The food on the day was excellent, as was the service. However, my experience of using Red Anywhere was a very poor one before the day itself. I was not at all impressed with the staff that I spent many hours emailing, and a complete lack of clarity over their pricing made life extremely stressful. My husband and I had to work very hard to check all of our invoices thoroughly, and we had to challenge extra costs that were added on. Our guests enjoyed the food, but I would not use Red Anywhere again. They promised simplicity in their publicity material, but our experience was exactly the opposite. Incidentally, all emails are sent in red text on a white background, which very difficult for people to read (almost impossible for a lot of people with dyslexia and/or colour-blindness). I did point this out, to no avail.”

Dear Hannah, Dan here Chef Director of Red Anywhere, I am disappointed to read your review. Whilst this is exactly what the reviews site is for, your thoughts are out of character in regard to the rest on here and the many we receive weekly. However I take all feedback both positive & negative seriously. This helps us as a team learn from our strengths and in this case from things that were not quite right. I am delighted that the actual delivery of your dream day was how you dreamt it would. The team thoroughly enjoyed looking after you and your guests. I have spoken with Sophie, who is also disheartened by your review. It seems you were caught in the middle of quite a few changes. We did agree at the booking stage your quote and offering, and when things are asked for that are in addition, we quote and then it is for you to decided if you wish to take these extras. I know we did offer some items complimentary. It is a shame you felt there were hidden charges and costs, that is not the case, we work extremely hard to be as transparent as possible and receive many compliments about this. I also take on board your comment regarding our email font colour. Thank you for your time and the Red team wish you and your family well in the future Daniel Clarke Chef - Director

“We had to organise our daughters wedding in Hampshire from afar, in Devon. It was key that we found the right partners to help us. We work with international food service businesses and think we have pretty high expectations of food quality and service. We found Red Anywhere online. Their website showed that they had a different approach from everyone else we looked at. From first enquiry to last thing on Saturday night our event manager, Sophie was entirely exceptional. Their imagination and great ideas made for the most memorable day and many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they had ever been presented - we can only agree. Red's attention to detail and to service was way beyond a regular catering outfit. Dan who heads up the company is not only an exciting executive chef but holds to the highest standards in every part of his business. We cannot recommend the Red team highly enough - great to deal with , great food, and great service on site ( calm, attentive and efficient). My recommendation - " if you have read this far, don't bother looking elsewhere you have probably found the right food service partner"”

“Food was amazing. Could not fault it. Couple of things appeared to be missed in the last minute handover from our planned co-ordinator (Ellie) to the one that ran it on the day (can't remember their name) around the ordering of the day, but were corrected when we asked. Was disappointed with the disappearing act of the staff during the speeches, as we had to send someone to find them to start the tea service. Also disappointed with the decision to "air the oven" whilst food was being served - filled the barn with a nasty burning smell. All in the negatives were small compared with the stunning food and a great day, thank you very much.”

“'Red Anywhere' were superb and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. OK yes, it's a business deal but their attention to detail and personal touch beforehand were wholly impressive. We felt that they really wanted to do a good job for us and that nothing was too much of a problem. On the day of our daughters wedding the meal and service were 'top draw'; friendly, courteous, efficient and un-obtrusive. We've also had so much feedback on just how delicious the meal itself was too! And the extra little touches were great including the Baileys and Double Cream fudge at the end of the meal...it went very very quickly!”

“Our event was aimed at parent carers of children with autism so we were looking for someone to make the parents feel welcome and a chance for them to enjoy a lovely lunch. The staff were extremely helpful and looked after everyone with such detail. The lunch was ideal as we didn't have much time and a lot of people to feed so the choice of food was key. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious and ticked every box for us. Thank you for looking after us so well.”

“A very professional company - quite expensive but the food was excellent quality & the staff were friendly & well-trained, & really wanted our daughter's wedding reception to go well from the start. They coped well with a last minute change of venue - we were meant to be at the Ocean Suite, Eastbourne Pier, but due to the fire we ended up at The Winter Garden instead. They seemed to work well with the staff there & provided plenty of their own. Our only negative comments are that it took longer than planned to lay out the First Course, so we ended up sitting down about 30 minutes later than planned; we would have liked more vegetables with the delicious main course; & though the idea of a platter of mixed breads with dipping oil sounded nice, in reality it was hard to pass the platter round the table, it was messy to use the oil, & some of our guests were wanting butter instead - perhaps you should offer butter instead at the planning stage. However none of these small niggles detracted from the meal which was much praised by our guests.”

“Service from start to end was impeccable. The food was amazing - every one at the wedding commented on the quality of the food. Having Sophie look after the arrangements for the wedding was a godsend, again many guests commented on how lovely she was. We had the event at Long Furlong Barn - perfect venue too! All in all it was a perfect wedding - thank to Dan, Sophie and the rest of the team at RED!”

“Thank you very much to all the Red Anywhere staff who were involved in our wedding in September 2014. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was and your waiting staff were brilliant! Very easy company to communicate with and all of the organisation was stress-free. You took on board all of our requests for small tweaks or additions to the initial menu suggestions. Would highly recommend.”

“Fantastic service from day one! Lovely taster session with our own chef who was on hand to describe what the food was. Our wedding day was perfect and we have been inundated with comments from our guests saying how the food was delicious and the best wedding food they had eaten. The canapés were exciting and different, lovely flavours and great presentation. Overall could not find one fault with red anywhere catering!”

“The service we received from Red was outstanding. They were always on hand to deal with any enquiries and were always happy to help. Everyone on the day and since has continued to highlight how lovely the food was especially the canapés. Everything was provided to the highest quality and everyone enjoyed the food and alcohol provided on the day.”

“All the food was delicious. The time keeping was good and things were kept moving along nicely. They were more than accommodating to any extra request and on the day were smart and polite. Sophie’s attitude, knowledge and enthusiasm was refreshing compared to other caters we visited and she helped make planning easy. The drinks were nice and people complimented us on the quality of the Pimms and the amount of fruit used. Also the rosemary in the water jugs was a nice touch. The only room for improvement from my point of view was that I only got 1 of the canapés and no evening sandwiches. I’m sure this was because our time was being sort elsewhere when they were being served but I was told that a selection of these items would be put aside for us and they weren’t.”

“Good quality food is really important to us so we spent quite a long time trying to find the perfect people to work with when we were looking for catering for our wedding. From our first contact with Red, we knew they were right for us. They weren’t the cheapest quote we received, but the quality and service shone through in spades - and we knew that this was worth its weight in gold. Sophie in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that all our requirements were met, and on the day was there directing the team to ensure everything went like clockwork - including providing me with a drinks tray to stand on to prevent me sinking into the slightly soft mud and greeting us both with a glass of bubbles on arrival at our venue. Red were completely flexible with our menu. They really listened to what was important and adapted their menu to accommodate our wishes. We loved the sharing mains - and our guests loved putting on their aprons and chef hats to carve the lamb - which was cooked to perfection. The icing on the cake was being able to combine both our favourite desserts for a create your own sundae (complete with sticky toffee pudding crumbles) to ensure the food sharing experience continued. Our wedding day was amazing and we can’t thank Red enough for the major role they played in its success. If you are trying to choose between Red and another company, go for Red you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again!”

“We were blown away by the 'whole package'. We expected high quality food after the tasting and we got high quality food. It was delicious and our guests all enjoyed every course. Parents of young children were thrilled that the children's main course was brought out with the adults starters which kept them amused! The starters and mains were piping hot and all dietary requirements were catered for. Rosie was a super star....ensuring the smooth running of each courses delivery and checking in with us to make sure everything was ok. As well as the food for the wedding breakfast being a hit, the evening catering was just as good. We ordered a variety of butties and these went down a storm with the guests. As the bride, I was really touched that the waitress came to me for first refusal each time. I'm just sorry I couldn't eat a lot of them as they were delicious too! From the welcome drinks to the end of the evening, the service was faultless. We are so grateful for everything that was done for us to make our wedding day so special. We would highly recommend red catering for any event.”

“the whole process of organising my 40th birthday with the Red Team was really efficient, with them fitting in with my hectic schedule. and the evening was a resounding success. we had lots of children, coeliac's (including myself) and my large family, and everything was more than perfect. I would use the Red team again in an eye blink and recommend them to anyone.”
