“I received my velvet curtains today after a long wait but I am very disappointed with them , the print on the design I have on my bedspread is very vibrant orange pink and blue but the curtains are very insipid when held up , if I turn them upside down they are very vibrant, the colour I want, after talking with someone in the shop I was told the nap is the right way , I agreed , but why is it printed with the vibrant colour upside down. I gave three stars for quality and pattern matching .”

Thanks for your review Pamela, we are sorry that your chosen fabric is not as expected, which is why we do recommend that a fabric sample is ordered prior to ordering made to measure items. The printed velvet is always printed with the velvet pile running smooth down, the fabric you have chosen is such a lovely one - it may well be that when you hang the curtains the fabric pile and colours will catch the light etc but we couldn't guarantee that it will be the same as your cotton bedspread as this is not velvet.

“Used Curtains Made For Free in every room in my home in the past. Found them value for money, good quality and good range to choose from. However the customer service let them down badly today and I ordered my blinds elsewhere. We were given a one hour slot due Covid regs and so we were the only customers in the showroom. The lady was more preoccupied with tidying the showroom than giving us any attention. Such a shame :(”

“On point of ordering I was told by tele sales that I could use my own cassette, subsequently the cascade blinds that I ordered did not have the correct drop that I specified. Tele sales should know that your in house cassettes may differ from clients. Problem resolved by my having to send my cassette and blind to you to use as a template. Also, the pattern on the top panels of blinds were mis-aligned resulting in half a red flower on one side and a full red one on the right side. I viewed this as poor workmanship and had to return them to you to be redone correctly. Even when I placed the order and checked the details I found that the wrong fabric had been typed on. Over the weeks I made numerous calls and emails, some of which were ignored.”

Hi Carol, thank you for your feedback. At the point of ordering your request was to have pleat sizes on your roman blind the same as your current blinds - we accommodated this as best as we could - we chatted on 5 occasions after this and established that the pleat sizes differed slightly due to your original blinds being a different length to the new ones ordered with us - your cassette/headrail system was the same as the ones we provide. We collected the blinds, re-made them at the length of your old blinds, to ensure the pleats were exactly the same as your old blinds and also moved the fabric to ensure the pattern was also where you wanted it to be and re-delivered on your requested delivery date. We are sorry that you have found it necessary to give us a poor review - we do hope that all of your items are looking great - Curtains, Cushions and Roman Blinds.

“I ordered made to measure blinds but when they came they where off the shelf that I could have bought locally cheaper as they have to be cut down to size .which I now have to get someone to do this for me. This made for free is very misleading.”

Hi Sandy Thanks for your review, I have taken a look at your order - the Voyage roller blinds are made to a standard size by Voyage, but we do cut them to size - they are then placed back into the original packaging. The paperwork does indicate that the blinds were cut to size - can you double check the blinds within the box and then let us know. We would never mislead customers, or send out a product not to requested sizes intentional.
