I found the booking process & confirmation takes far too long. Not once when I rang my Concierge was she available which meant hanging on for another available person. I was pleased with the ticket & label delivery which arrived yesterday, 8 days before my cruise. But, I haven't as yet received the Body Shop gift set even though the holiday was paid immediately upon booking.

I did not get confirmation of my cruise because my EMail address had been incorrectly taken.I am still waiting to receive codes so that I can claim my free wine from NAKED. I have made one phone call only to be told that these thin gs are actioned weekly and it would happen soon! I shall be making another call this week before I actually go on the cruise.I am also waiting for details of my free parking,after being told that it would be posted to me.I am getting fed up with waiting,fed up with having to make phone calls to chase things up most of which still have not been actioned.All in all I feel that I will not use 118 again

Initially I made an enquiry via E-Mail. I did get a reply asking me to get in touch. The next day I received a telephone call and discussed my requirements with the Cruise Concierge who was very helpful. The next day I received my quotation for the cruise I had enquired about and was pleased with the results and decided that is I decided to go I would make the booking. The next day I received a call asking if the quote was fine and I said yes and I was then asked if I would like to book the cruise. I apologised because I was not in a position to book the cruise at that moment because another member of the party had to confirm that they would be able to go. It was agreed that the Cruise Concierge would contact me after the weekend at a specific time. On the Monday when I was in a position to book the cruise, I waited for the telephone call but it never came. I telephoned and spoke to another person who said that the Cruise Concierge was not at their desk but that they would contact me within 30 minutes. Two hours later. I rang again to be informed that my Cruise Concierge was busy and would ring me back. I explained that I had already been promised a return call two hours earlier, I was asked to hold. A few minutes later I was told that my Concierge was really busy and that they would call back. I asked if this person could take my booking, they asked me to hold again. They came back to me a few minuted later and asked me for my post code, again I was asked to hold. Again a few minutes later I was told that they couldn't take the booking and that my Concierge would contact me later. I informed them that if I didn't hear before close of business, this would be a cruise they would lose. Five minutes later I received a telephone call from the person I had been speaking to who said they would take the booking. They took the booking and were very good in how they dealt with everything and the information that they provided. Has my first Cruise Concierge been half as helpful, you would have got an excellent for how the booking was handled but my original Cruise Concierge let you down badly and it almost resulted in you losing this cruise for 4 people As you state that you record all telephone calls and may use them for training purposes, I suggest that you listen to these recording which will validate everything I have said and perhaps use this to improve the way you deal with your customers

We phoned Cruise 118 to enquire if they would price match a quote from another Company as we enquired on a Sunday we found that the first helpful member of staff had to hand our final booking and details over to another member of staff to confirm with Princess on Monday morning! This made the process difficult in respect of the agreed price and details that we had agreed with the first member of Staff? We did not feel relaxed when we were challenged by the second member of staff regarding the agreed price and she told us that we were not entitled to the advertised wine offer as the two cruises were sold to us at a good price? The cost was equal to that matched with another Cruise Agent so we are left feeling that we should not have bothered asking for a price match with Cruise 118 and very disappointed !

No problems except that the agent seemed to having a slow response from the IT. All worked fine in the end, but a bit lengthy.

Not really sure about a few things regarding this booking. I would like to see the costs broken down before I can comment However, this is not possible - apparently! Which does make me wonder!!!!!

Pleasant experience but the booking process is still not complete. I was told that if I paid the gratuities at the time of booking I would be able to have select (anytime ) dining. When the confirmation invoice arrived, however we were shown as WAITLISTED. As this was not acceptable I am now waiting to see if we have select dining or whether I will be requesting a refund of the £200+ gratuities.

Mistakes were made on original booking, but we are only human! Came good after and felt they then had dealt fairly with situation. Very friendly staff.

Haven't booked a cruise for well over a year although the last cruise we booked with 118 was in June. Our experiences in the last year were as follows:- - Not always easy to get back to the same cruise concierge even when you have a contact number. Our concierge left the company but we kept getting advertising letters with his name on! - Most of the concierges we spoke to were helpful and able to solve our problems although it did take a long time to update an invoice which didn't show discounts which had been applied. Overall, will probably use 118 again.
