“Aside from spelling and grammatical errors, there were also several occasions when I marked a section as complete, and was then informed that I had attempted to skip too far, which meant I had to go back a page and try again, which considerably slowed the process. The content was good, though sometimes a little hard to process (not helped by grammatical errors). There were also times were the mini quizzes answers were not the same as provided within the training, which thankfully did not impact my pass, but it was very frustrating!”

“Never received my end of course certificate I applied for it but no joy not happy”

“I done a workplace first aid course back in February, and I'm still waiting for my Certificate, the company that I work for won't add my name to the list for first aiders as I can show them my Certificate, I phoned the CPD and asked about it, I was told it would be sent out but still not received it”

“I found the course had some out of date information as far as perceptions of certain illnesses goes. I also found that the test was less than helpful; in my opinion, it doesn't increase empathy towards people with mental illness to have people memorise statistics related to what they're suffering with.”

“needed practical evidence of testing procedure to be competent at completing test. Course spent more time looking into legislation documentation than the actual practicalities of conducting the test and what equipment that is required to conduct the test.”

“I thought the course was clear, although would have appreciated a bit more variation in format. There was 1 x video on the course, for which the sound did not work. I also think you should review your ethnic representation included in images - they were overwhelming white people featured, and not reflective of the UK demographic.”

“Equality and Diversity is my first online course. I found the fixed format of stock photos / facts to be quite off-putting when trying to absorb the information but navigating through the course worked well. Different layouts would have helped. There were numerous spelling mistakes and the difference in level from the mini-quizzes at the end of each section compared to the final quiz was huge. Some of the final quiz questions seemed irrelevant and may have been better testing an overall understanding of the subject rather than checking if every fact and figure could be recalled. Did I really need to remember how many million sick days are attributed to this per year? Did the job...”

“Most of the time when I finished a page it made me return to the unit selection rather than going into the next page. Also some questions in your end test were not supported by information you gave.”
