“Purchase van cover for business but they have not sent confirmation took the initial payment, after 2 days sales team ask me to verify details & they increase the amount double just can accident dates was 7 days gap like accident happen 1/1/22 & they says claim register on 9/1/22 so they increase the premium
Further more yearly premium comes 687 one of payment but they not let us pay yearly they only gives a option of monthly payment option which goes to £977 never had issue with van insurance but they ruin my day it C was working Monday & I was chasing quotes”
“When completing your van insurance quotation questionnaire I entered that I did not want to add any voluntary excess to the policy. i.e. zero pounds.
I subsequently bought the insurance from a company called Marshmallow. When I received the policy documentation it indicated that I had accepted a £250 voluntary excess contribution. This I did not agree to.
Marshmallows say this was your error.
They will not reduce the excess, saying my only option is to cancel the policy.
As you can imagine I’m not happy with your service.”

“Post office insurance are the worse company they have taken £450.00 of my money for insurance for my van and then send emails telling you of incorrect details and urgent ammendment required. They made deliberate errors on the policy and told me I had to pay more to retain the policy but I had to cancel as it had already gone way over what was quoted on your website. I feel like I have been scammed and now am £450.00 out of pocket I now have no money for insurance and shopping for this month will be limited as I am retired and on a low pension.”
“Unfortunately the 'cheapest' quote with VanLineDirect was a false quote. I was not able to pay for it annually which made it £160 more expensive than the quote. I called them and they gave me completely different prices. Confused.com need to put something in place to stop these scam artists showing themselves as the cheapest then giving customers a different price and the links to buy annual not working. The customer service from VanLineDirect was also appauling which just made me think Confused.com aren't checking who they're recommending sadly!”
