Initially did the classroom CCNA and CCNA voice when Joe was still operating up in Manchester found them hard work, yet strangely rewarding. Joe has the unusual ability of making hard work fun both in the classroom and online, during the free webinars. If you're looking for Cisco training Commsupport is the only place to go, you'll have to work hard but you will definitely enjoy it.

Listen to Joe, if Joe says do it, then do it. When Joe said on the first day "Do my labs twice over and you will get a job in networking" i did not think much of it, i thought ah, this guy is just talking. Once i started the labs i and continued to carry on with the labs in the courses and after the course i started to get what he was saying, the labs work is intense but you learn so much doing the labs you cannot help but learn all the detail. Thanks to Commsupport i got a job my first job as a field engineer working on cisco kit i have not yet passed the ccna, but it did not matter in the interview, but i had the skills to pass the interview lab test with the quickest time ever this was possible thanks to the many labs Joe has made available to us. I enjoyed my 6 days with Joe in the class, I try to attend the evening sessions when I can, now I am a busy guy fixing networks. I would recommend Commsupport to anyone getting into networking, they know what they are talking about.

I have spent two weeks with Commsupport doing my CCNP Route/Switch and Tshoot modules. There is plenty of theory as well as hands on the labs, and Joe makes sure that you get a good grounding in the CCNP course requirements and gives you a bit extra information so that it is relevant to the real world instead of just to pass the exams. I used an ELC for my training and managed to get both my CCNP Route/Switch and my CCNA security courses out of one credit, looking forward to that extra weeks training.

Hello John Many thanks for the review. Hope all is going well with the house move and not too distracting from the studies. Look forward to having you back on the class and our early morning "Putting the world to rights" chats. Many thanks Joe

It's simple really, if you want to ditch your uniform at Lidl and make a break for the big bucks do this course!! I've had the pleasure to do the CCNA routing and Switching Course in March 2014, and redid it in June. With Joe's excellent and straight to the point teaching methodology I was able to knuckle down and score a 100% on my exam. The lab materials are a godsend and I still use them today to sharpen up my skills. Going to proceed with the CCNP route with Commsuppor. Looking forward to it. If you want to invest in your career within Networking look no further. - Chaz

Commsupport was the first time I'd used a training company other than QA. Absolutely fantastic. Completed my CCNA with these guys and went on to complete my CCNA Security with them. The major benefit of this training company is you get a complete set of kit per student, meaning you get properly hands on with the kit. Futher more the break fix sessions are without a doubt the best way to learn. There's no following step by step instructions, you have to think about what the issue is and what the possible cause could be before attempting to fix it. You also get taught in a real world manor. By this I mean you don't follow 300 page text book whilst the instructor kills you with 500 PowerPoint slides. Instead you get taught based on real world situations in a way that makes it easy to relate to. I shall be looking in the future to complete my CCNP with these guys and would have no problems recommending them.

These courses are the best I have ever attended, and I've been to quite a few other companies. I would never go anywhere else. The instructor is extremely experienced & knowledgable. He makes the course enjoyable where you'll learn an impressive amount of knowledge. With your own kit you'll have plenty of hands on too. I can't praise this company and the instructor enough. Throughly recommended.

I attended the CCNA course last February and repeated the same as a part of the free commsupport re-take offer. I have had an excellent experience with this training company both in terms of the course quality and the level of customer service. The trainer is knowledgeable and friendly and makes you feel like a part of the commsupport network:) I will definitely take further courses with them once I pass CCNA!

I have been on many professional training courses that this one takes the biscuit. They are miles ahead of the other competitors and offer a wide range of support with the training provided. For what you pay for and what you receive in return is well worth it in the long run. CCNA paid for and receiving: evening sessions recaps set days of the week, free resits to the CCNA course to refresh knowledge. Access to live labs in and outside of the course. Break-fix labs and build labs to really test your knowledge to what you learnt to continue to push you to know your stuff. I have not seen any madness of the sort elsewhere. Joe is utterly insane for running it this way, but I see his point of view, he is very passionate to his work and wishes success to everyone he teaches. Only this way he knows that someday every network in the world will be in safe hands. The end result is always down to yourselves, what you put in is what you get out. To sum up the Commsupport team have put everything in and making a success in providing affordable training to all, in a fun easy to understand language.

Like most people I did a lot of research before signing up for a CCNP course. Above all I was looking for value for money. The course was paid for by my employer, so value meant for me the right combination of course quality, a knowledgeable and relatable instructor, hands-on time, decent labs and documentation for the right price. Like most IT professionals I`ve been on a ton of courses where either they cost a bomb and deliver very little, the instructor has no idea how to convey the material in a practical and concise manner or there`s too much theory and not much real world application. Joe gets it pitch perfect - by it`s nature this is technical stuff, but he`s got a knack of explaining it so it all makes sense. Whilst the labs mirrored the theory and the day`s lesson. Joe has a lot of time for each student, and when your configs are going wrong, he`ll help, or help you find what you`re doing wrong. These things can tend to feel like your back at school but Joe keeps it fun, while always being able to crack the hard topics. And when you`re on a course you want someone to be able to say to you "I`m going to explain everything you need to know about BGP in 10 minutes" - for me, that`s why I go on a course, to crack the concepts - after that I figure the nuts and bolts out. Commsupport did that. The range of kit is great, and there`s plenty of hands-on time. I went on to get my CCNP, and I thank Commsupport for laying the groundwork. I also attended a trial day, I`d highly recommend that to have a look.

I was looking for a trainer-led course to get me ready for my CCNA. I tried the self-study route for about a year and didn't get very far. I wanted to find a course where I could be taught the content but also practice the practical aspects. As my company at the time wasn't prepared to fund training, I had to find a course that would also be affordable. I searched online and came across Commsupport. The website seemed to offer the world - an instructor led course, REAL KIT, the chance to retake the course for free, access to live online training sessions, pre-recorded videos...the list went on. This all sounded too good to be true. I figured that with all this on offer the price of the course would surely be beyond my budget. I was then surprised to see that the course was over half the price of some of the better known training firms. This had to be a scam. I went to work the next day and spoke to one of the network engineers. I mentioned Commsupport and the guys face lit up. He smiled and said that he did his training with this company and that the course was great. He went on to tell me about Joe (The trainer) and to send my regards to him if I went on the course. This was reassurance enough and I booked myself on a 6 day CCNA and 4 day CCNA Voice package. TWO courses for over half the price of just the CCNA elsewhere. I phoned up and spoke to Anthony who gave me some more information and took my booking. Soon after I received emails informing me of how I can access the online training videos and instructions on joining the live instructor led online training. I watched the videos (which were more thorough and informative than a well known 'nugget' provider) and I also took part in the weekly webinars. By the time I attended the classroom course I'd already got a feel of Joe's humour over the webinars and I knew that the course would be fun as well as productive. The classroom was well lit and air conditioned. Each desk had real switches and routers on it which would be used for the labs. The great thing with how Joe operates is that he will teach a section and then get the students to practice by doing a lab. Joe insists on wiping the configs from the equipment at the start of every lab and configuring everything from scratch. This is great because by day 6 I'd reconfigured the routers and switches so many times that it became second nature and the labs that we'd covered on previous days had stuck in my mind. Once the students finished the labs and were happy that they'd got everything configured correctly, Joe would check their work and then make changes on their switch to resemble a troubleshooting scenario. The students would then have to try and find the issue and fix it. I've been on a few different courses through my new job and none of them offered 'real life' troubleshooting scenarios. Instead they just make you follow a pre written lab and rush you to move on to the next topic. The other great thing was that Joe covered a lot more detail beyond the scope of CCNA and regularly verged into CCNP territory. This was good news for me as by the time I got round to doing my CCNP switch exam, I felt confident that a lot of the topics had been covered and only had to do a bit more studying to get exam fit. I can't speak highly enough of the course as it is the only course I've ever been on that genuinely prepares the student for real life scenarios. Joe's commitment can be seen through the sheer amount of time he devotes to both the classroom and the live online training in the evenings. Two weeks after completing the classroom course I passed my CCNA with 94%. I would highly recommend Commsupport to every man and his dog!

Hey Goran Wow,. now that's a review. what can i say, many, many thanks. I am very pleased you got so much from the course. And of course when i have a weekend free we will go up and chuck some loops and rolls. Back to the review, you are bang on regarding the self study. For me learning one small element is fine it takes only one moment, but to learn how it all goes together and if you are putting it together correctly you need someone that has been there and done it to give you the thumbs up green light. Some people think that going on a course is a waste of money and in most cases that is true, having done my MCSE selff study and having taken 12 months to complete it, that 52 weekends i will never get back, had i gone on a course i would have cut that down. Money you can always make, time you can never get back Also well done on passing the Switch the other day. Kind regards Joe

I attended a CCNA workshop at Commsupport Networks as a complete rookie. Prior to my first day I had never touched a managed switched, I was clueless about the OSI model, and, to cap it all, I thought a Cisco router was the same thing as the cheap router I had at home. Yet within a year of my first workshop (even though most of the year was spent on my non-networking related day job) I became CCNA certified and was offered a new job by a leading IT managed services provider to join their team of Network Engineers. I’m now (exactly a year since my rookie experience) configuring both Cisco and Juniper devices as a network engineer with Easynet, a leading carrier integrator and networking solutions provider. Contrary how it might seem, I was a slow learner. There are some skills I have quickly picked up in life; but networking was not one of them - I had to work hard. But Commsupport Network’s training material was excellent. I believe that's what made the difference. I went through their lab manuals using their training kit machines (and sometimes GNS3) and repeated the CCNA and security workshops several times until I got it. At the end of my training I reckon I spent more time with Joe than he did with his wife! In my opinion, for what they provide, Commsupport Networks is probably the best Cisco networking training provider in the UK. I am certain that I would not have had this level of quality training and support from any other training provider anywhere else.

Ah Micky Many thanks for the review. I am missing you from the classroom, i miss the look on your face every time i cracked a joke that you did not approve of, aahhh, those were the days, we were young and irresponsible, seems like only two months ago.....hang on IT WAS !!!. Any way, Micky sir you have done me proud, this is what i tell all my students, if you are willing to put in the time and effort then only good things will happen. I was very chuffed when you told me you got the job at Easynet, From nothing to ISP in 12 months, they found a real hardcore network engineer with you, straight out of the Commsupport foundry. if Carlsberg made network engineers they would all be called Micky. Many thanks and keep in touch. Joe

Joe's labs are a brilliant resource covering everything needed for CCNA/CCNP and more. There is no easy way to certification but the labs mean you will understand what is required. Having that level of quality material means you never need to trawl the web for random labs. Joe is extremely motivated, knowledgeable and the long hours in the class room pass quickly with the relaxed delivery. I work in the public sector and my manager couldn't believe the value. Respect sir.

Hi Steve Many thanks for the review. Yeap you said it, no need to trawl the net for any other labs, i have them all covered in detail. We still surprise everyone, most large companies and public sector bodies still equate the quality of the course based on how much money they have paid for it, they still throw away thousands of pounds down the drain for some one to stand in front of a class and point to a point point presentation and read out the slides. Still, i am very pleased you found us as are many other companies and public sector bodies. See you on the on-line Sessions Many thanks Joe

Hi Kevin Many thanks for the review, very kind.. Tha labs manuals just get better and better as the years go by, i am never 100% happy with them, if my printer could print faster they would be 4,000 pages rather than at the moment i think we are at around 2,000 pages of labs for the CCNA alone Once again, many thanks and see you on-line Joe

Commsupport have helped me immensely throughout my professional career in networking. The courses (CCNA/CCNP) not only provided me with a solid foundation for whichever certificate I was studying for at the time, but also how that knowledge can be applied in the real world. Joe is an excellent trainer with a real passion for the subject, and the depth and breadth of his knowledge in second to none. Highly recommended.

First of all, a very big THANK YOU!! It was a pleasure to be taught by you. I wanted to do the CCNA Training course for a long time. Joe, your knowledge and dedication to each of us was amazing and I am sure all the other delegates on the course agree with me. The practical sessions that we had helped me a lot understand each area in more detail and grasp different things which are difficult to achieve from the theory. I am looking forward to joining the CCNP course as soon as I pass my CCNA Exam. I will definitely recommend this course to my friends.

I have sat several courses with Commsupport over the last 5 years starting with my CCNA through to CCNP including CCNA Voice and CCNA Security. Every course was superbly presented by Joe who is an absolute legend. He has a unique ability to explain complex processes in a simple to understand way so that when you hit the in-depth labs you can really follow what you are doing. And if you don't get it first time, every day of every course is recorded so you can go back and review it at any time. The lab manuals are yours to keep so you have everything you could possibly need. I still use Joes labs today when I am preparing config for customers and it is a testament to Joe that these labs prove themselves out in the real world. Joe won't tell you how to pass an exam. He isn't just giving you answers to exam questions. This is not a "Boot Camp". He will teach you how to be a Network Engineer. If you are wanting network training of the highest quality and value from a superb training company there really is only one name you should consider. Commsupport.
