Gear select cables warn and broken, replaced at Colin Appleyards, cost of repair is a bit of an issue, then I don’t have a comparison as to the cost at any other service centre.

We do use Suzuki Menu Pricing and we do our very best to keep our prices competitive, we also supply genuine Suzuki parts all of which come with a manufacturer guarantee etc. This was a specialist repair and our service team did confirm that the repair has been authorised. Booked car in for 4 new tyres and at the time of booking said I would wait as it would only be an hour. When I arrived was told that they were a mechanic down and my car hadn’t been booked as a while you wait. Get again made to feel it was my fault, no apology and told that they would try and fit my car in! So ended up waiting 2 hours to fit 4 tyres! Saving grace they had originally over quoted on price.

The staff were generally good but why the ten pound charge ???? We’ve been customers of your for a long time and it’s seemed an insignificant amount to charge and never had a charge before . I think it wasn’t justified ????

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to see you've only been able to leave us a 3-star review. Unfortunately due to the huge increase in insurance premiums the £10 charge is a collision damage waiver fee for the courtesy vehicle as the insurance policy itself carries a £1000 excess. By paying the £10, the excess is then reduced to £100 should an incident or any damage occur. Unfortunatley this is somthing we are unable to avoid and we do apologise if this wasn't explained to you. We will raise this with the service teams to ensure the fee is fully explained to all our customers who wish to use one of our courtesy vehicles and we do hope we can be of service to you again in the future.

Helpful pleasant staff Howvere I didn't receive a video report as listed on my invoice nor was I informed of my Tyre depth as I have previously been advised in my video reports Also my invoice stateside con treatment recommended and fuel treatment recommended but I was not advised about this by the service staff member

Very disappointed when coming to collect my car and discovering it hadn't been washed or vacuumed as I was told it would be , sadly this happened last year too as did not being told there would be a charge of £10 to cover insurance when having the use of a courtesy vehicle , surely " courtesy " means no charge ... Unfortunately I doubt I will be giving this dealership my business again .

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to see that you've only been able to leave us a 3-star review. Your feedback is important and allows us to continually improve the service we provide. We have discussed your comments with our service team and are a little confused as your vehicle was washed off by Barrie himself until a member of the valeting team came free who then took over the cleaning of your car. The £10 charge is voluntary and it is to drive the courtesy vehicle on our insurance, it lowers the excess charge from £1,000 to £100 and as a gesture of goodwill, Angela wavered this fee. Once again, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment and do hope we can be of service to you again in the future.

Reasonable service but in the past I seem to remember the car got valeted after it had been in for major repairs.

We have discussed this with the dealership who advised at the said time we just didn't have the valeting staff availability. Had the car 11 months my 1st MOT 2021 Was billed for 3 tyres . We had done very little miles In the past year . So tyres must have been borderline when we bought it.Surely they should have changed them before selling it to us but no as long as they were legal. Slightly miffed but you learn by your mistakes check your tyres before purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are obviously sorry to read that you are not completely satisfied and have looked into the history of the vehicle for you. Prior to you taking delivery of the car, a full inspection had been carried out (as is done with all our used cars) along with a service and MOT. I can see from the inspection that the tyre treads were recorded as well within the legal limits and as such no recommendation was made for them to be replaced. Whilst you would expect high/excessive mileage to be the main factor to influence the life of a tyre, there are various other influences including road and driving conditions. Tyre pressures can also have an impact on tyre wear and we would always advise customers to ensure they carry out regular safety checks of their vehicle including ensuring that the tyre pressures are all as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. If you would like any advice on how to carry out your own safety checks in the future, then our service team would be more than happy to help.

Not quite up to usual standard had to take my car back day after full service and MOT because the hand brake needed to be adjusted as it was not working properly.

We have followed up on your comments with the service manager at the dealership who has advised that whilst the handbrake was within the tolerance for MOT testing, it does allow room for further adjustment. Colin Appleyard always try to turn around services very quickly which they did again for me on this first service a nice result. Just a shame the courtesy car was not cleaned prior to being handed to me the inside was quite off putting.

We are pleased to hear that you were happy with the service we carried out on your vehicle and we do apologise that on this occasion the courtesy car wasn't up to our usual high standard. All courtesy vehicles are wiped down and sanitised after each use (including door handles etc) ready for the next customer, but often the problem is that they go out early and are returned late, which on occasions means the valeting team have already left and they cannot be fully cleaned before going out again. Once again, we do apologise and we have addressed it with the aftersales manager. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to being of service to you again in the future.

I had an annual service done on 2 years old Suzuki ignis. The service was completed and I'm satisfied with it completely. I was adviced to change the break pads on the front wheels. I agreed taking in consideration that I know that the pads cost £20-40. Plus the job is about £35. So I was looking at around £70 pounds extra. Nobody mentioned the price to me otherwise I will disagree. I paid £84 just oft pads plus about £56 for a job. Absolutely rediculous.

Our technicians carry out a Vehicle Health Check on all cars and any findings are discussed with customers before we proceed with any work. We believe that Barrie from our service department contacted you to discuss the work required but apologise if the cost of replacing the brake pads was not clearly explained. Booked my car in for MOT service was really good the only down side was i tried to ring them as i had forgot what day my car was booked in so i rang them it rang for a awhile then they put the phone down on got hold them eventually apart from that good service
