I have been subscribed now for around 6 months. I have noticed the following: 1. The boxes are ALWAYS late. Each month you pay on the 1st/2nd, however your won't receive your box until between the 12th and 16th. 2. If something goes wrong and you need to contact someone at Cohorted - brace yourself. I am not sure that anyone even works there! I had placed an order from there website totalling over £100. 2 weeks later the order still hadn't been dispatched, I couldn't get hold of anyone via email, FB and no phone numbers. Eventually I was contacted to say that they didn't have any of the 5 items in stock (how?!) & so I would be refunded. Maybe there website is all a front ... very weird anyway. 3. The quality & value of each box varies quite a lot. Sometimes you will get recognised brands (like Mac, Bobbi Brown, Clarins) but the vast majority of items are from brands that you wont have heard of. Also, they will claim that an eyeshadow palette is worth say £40, but actually, when you google the brand and exact palette, you could buy it from some basement bargain website for £12. Also, in the December box for example, bearing in the mind that you have subscribed to a BEAUTY box, the box contained candles, bubble bath and soap. Again, they suggest that these candles (about 8cm high) are worth £18 each. I don't have a bath. Didn't use anything out of that box - gave it to my colleague. Hope this helps x

UPDATE Finally received my box today,contents:face cream SAMPLE(to use maybe 3 times),2 SAMPLE face masks(wtf!?!),SAMPLE body wash,body scrub and missing the body lotion which was supposed to be with them(waiting on an email back from them to what happened to it)the only product that kinda interests me at this point is just the Marc Jacobs setting spray SAMPLE. No make up at all just RUBBISH.good I have canceled my subscription! P.S. forgot in my last review to say about the fact that in my 7 months(it is 7 not 6)I have not received not even 1 foundation..

January’s cohorted box is a absolute rip off DONOT purchase! They tell you the value of the box is £133 yet they’re basing that value on full size products and they give u tiny ones! Absolutely no makeup atall! Decembers made me think this was a great subscription but il defiantly be cancelling

Appalling - attempted to cancel the box multiple times (they don't make it easy; it's almost like they don't want you to be able to!) and when I finally succeeded I was still charged for the next two months (£70). No response from customer service, although two boxes mysteriously arrived in the post much later...I suppose they think sending boxes of TK Maxx clearance tat is an acceptable way to patch things up, rather than refunding me my £70?

I've been charged twice, and i still didnt receive anything. Its 4th of February and i dont even have my January box, nothing..i wrote 15 emails and didnt get any response, tried calling its not working. this is a total scam, im left without money and i m left with no beauty box. this is ridiculous. i hope i will receive the boxes, but its February and nothing...

Cohorted boxes are so so disappointing. Month after month the boxes are late and there is always something wrong with the box. This month I'm missing a Clarins lipstick. December box was a complete joke...I'm in my twenties and ordered this.box due to the brand's that seemed to be affiliated with cohorted but instead I got candles and soaps no thank you. Good luck if you try to contact customer service as I have tried numerous times and never received a reply. I'm cancelling and finding another company who treat their customers better.

Awful customer service, they take weeks to respond (even on Facebook messenger). I had an issue with one of the products in my beauty box, I sent it back, as told to by the customer service team when I complained. They told me they would be sending me two items in replacement which would be equal to the price of the item I sent back. Weeks went by with no reponse from the cohorted team despite persistent messages via both Facebook and email. In the end they finally told me they were going to send out the items. I received the parcel today which only contained one of the items (a Mac mineralise skin finish) in a completely different colour to the one promised me. I'm so disappointed with the quality of cohorted's customer service. Furthermore the beauty box has gone completely downhill with them now repeating products from previous boxes. The almost doubling in price of the box when it became a subscription has not increased its value at all.

My box was perfect best box on the market, What isn't perfect is cohorted taking double payment each mother £70 And very reluctant to refund 3 months in a row this happened to me, if I hadn't noticed that would have been £105 more they would have taken. Not a single aplogy, for the3rd month I'm struggling to get my refund Don't run a business if you can't deal with customers

Very unhappy and have many issues. The first box I bought from Cohorted was the July box. An item arrived damaged and used so I tweeted and sent them an email and a message on instagram requesting a replacement or refund. No response but a week later I received a replacement box. I figured they'd just sent me a replacement but no courtesy of a response. Two days later, I received an email asking me to return the 2nd box as it was sent in error and that they would refund my postage - I saw all over Facebook that other people hadn't yet received theirs, presumably because they had messed up the order and sent some people it twice! I responded confirming I would return the 2nd box as did not want to deprive people that had paid of receiving one but would still like a refund for my damaged one. No response, no thanks (we're now in October!) and still no refund for my postage or damaged item. On the 01/10/15 I bought the subscription for the black and white box. Payment for both was taken from my account, there was no mention as to when the subscription would start so I assumed it started there and then. I am yet to receive either box or dispatch notification. Their website states dispatch is within 1 working day - 6 working days later and nothing! Somebody has suggested that this is for November.. seeing as this is a subscription that means on the 01/11 I would have made 2 payments for both boxes and still wouldn't have received one box as the monthly boxes take over a week to arrive! I have emailed and alas.. no response!!! POOR POOR customer service and business practice.

A review later and with numerous emails going UN-answered – I then receive the one promise from Cohorted Communications Ltd (OR Zenith Ltd) they are to resolve my complaint. But not so!! - Yet another week on and I'm still faced with no refund for my cancelled order (due to inconstant information on dispatch/delivery dates with non-existent customer services from Cohorted ) –Still £123.00 out of pocket - I paid Cohorted OR (Zenith Ltd as on my PayPal account) on the 19th October - 2 months and I’m still counting they have held my money . Initially I brought the advent calendars as Christmas gifts for my daughters, so find it upsetting when it’s so needed to replace their presents. Update Just received the same email reply as previous week to refund request – reply by Cohorted customer services: We’ve sent to our accounts department should be resolved by end of business if not please contact us again – Realise it’s the same automated reply as last week is this just to pacify me !!! As no refund payment in my account and here we go again ….. Find this distressing; no contact phone number to speak to anyone, emails are automated replies so ignored – Very bad customer service and they are trying to make people give up on the refunds by being difficult!!! My gut instinct tells me that there is something very wrong with this company – buyer beware I feel I have been scammed. Please refund me the money that you owe me …

Products were really good, however I got 3 different products than I was supposed to get based on what was shown in the magazine/brochure in the box. Also some of the items were in damaged packaging, not looking like new. It felt like I was sent leftovers from the last box. I guess I will wait and see what I will get next month. The delivery time was I think more than 5 working days, not great.

I order first beauty box 5th of February and they charge money like a normal i get receive to gmail that my first box it will be on 5th-10th March, but today is 20th of March and i still not get any box and funny thing is they charge me 1th of March for next beauty box so when i will get other one!!!!!??????

Order beauty box and took 3 weeks to arrive. Item NOT as described and was returned and received by them on 14 Feb. As at 17 March still NOT received refund dispite several emails promising refund being processed. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!😡😡😡

I ordered on the 15th November, the box still hasn't arrived and was intended as a gift. They advised the first box was lost in the post and another would arrive by 30th November. Still no box and now no reply or apology at all....

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. It's so strange. They have barely any social media presence and don't reply to emails. I have no idea when to expect anything because the communication is rubbish. Hoping I don't end up waiting months and losing money.

Started my subscription in october and was billed £34.99 was then billed a further £35 on the first of november and have not received 1 box, i have cancelled my subscription and am hoping my bank will help to make sure they take no further money from me and to help me get back my £70. Would have give 0 stars if possible. Feel like i have been scammed which is such a shame as i had such high hopes for this beauty box.

Beauty Box still not received and terrible customer service. I subscribed to Cohort based on a comment or review from a beauty writer and the company's professional looking website. My subscription started on the 3rd of February and I was aware of the one month in advance. It is now the 16th of March and I have still not received my first box... Their website clearly says that "your first beauty box between the 5th and the 15th of the following month". I have tried to contact them via Facebook, Twitter and email. The 0800 number on their Facebook page does not work... It is interesting there is no facility on their Facebook page to write reviews. I finally received an email this morning to say they are continuing to send out the beauty boxes this week and that they had emailed me - no evidence they sent this as I have checked junk mail etc. I now fear this is a scam and that the company is genuine. Having looked at TrustPilot reviews, others are saying the same. I also wonder if this review site has been written by them. PLEASE DO NOT SUBCRIBE AND LOSE YOUR MONEY!
