I purchased a pre owned Rolex watch from their Falkirk store 2 years ago . About 6 weeks ago I seen a pre owned Rolex in another jewellers and agreed to a trade in subject to my watch being sent away to their head office for examination to confirm the deal. Within 24 hours they got back to me saying was I aware that there had been severe polishing , filling or more likely a combination of both done to the 120Clock side of the bracelet? My first reaction was I would surely have noticed that !!! But when one of their watch experts spoke to me and took the time to send me photos it was clear that it was not hugely noticeable, but once drawn to your attention was definitely visible . It appears this has been done to cover up some sort of damage to that side of the bracelet . After 4 weeks of total stress , trying to pursue this issue I have got nowhere, they claim it’s wear and tear and I wasn’t sold the watch with the bracelet in that condition !!! I have 2 independent jewellers opinions that A , that work has been done professionally to cover up some sort of damage and That B ,they would not have sold a pre owned Rolex to me with part of the bracelet in that condition . I have had to pursue this relentlessly , as the regional manager concerned Mr Docherty has rarely returned calls or emails, it’s been delay after delay I have to say Janet the manager at Falkirk store has been very good and has tried to emphasise with my situation, on the other hand Neave the assistant manager has been so totally unprofessional . I have given the company fair chance to resolve this issue and unfortunately it has got to the stage of me writing such a negative review, to be honest if I could give any lower a score I would . I am now putting it into the hands of trading standards as I have sought professional advice on this matter . If I was in any way responsible for that repair there is no way I would be continuing to pursue this matter.

In short this business takes orders for stock they don’t have. Lie to you constantly and frankly have no customer service skills. Deal with this business at a risk I will never have dealings with them again, an appalling company of untrustworthy people.

Lovely costumer service, bad delivery didn’t get my parcel waiting here 4 days and no update I don’t think I’ll buy from here again!

Was looking for a new wedding ring to compliment my engagement ring that I bought in the same shop 5 year ago. Evelyn was really lovely,she brought me a few rings to try on, she allowed for me to take my time I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all. She also cleaned my other 2 rings while I decided on which 1 I loved.. Thank you very much Evelyn for all your help today ..29/5.2021.

Bought a diamond necklace - it was reasonably priced and loved by the receiver. It's really beautiful. They have a "buy within X hours and receive in X days!" thing on their website. I wouldn't trust this if you're in a hurry. It's not accurate. Paying extra for delivery won't speed up the process either - just use the free service. The necklace arrived 2 days late and tangled in the box. Took me so long to untangle it, I almost returned it. The way it was tangled made me question if it would even be possible for this to happen during transit. I also received a lot of "you still have X still in your basket, can I help?" emails, even after I ordered the item. I would use them again but probably not as a first choice. I would have given them 3 stars but they filter out reviews under 4 stars on their website.

I was a little bit disappointed with the pendant. The white gold chain was very, very thin and the pendant smaller than the picture. The website listed it as costing £299 and a special offer for £199 was shown. I did not think it was such a good deal!

I had my eye on a tag heuer. I was talked into placing a deposit of 10% they originally wanted 20%. I was told it would be sent to a store near me maybe by Xmas Eve. After doing all the chasing up and being told by Marcos especially that everything is ok I’ll phone my colleges now etc. I found out they never had the watch in the first place. They can’t seem to find my details of my deposit and keep being told it’s all in hand. I still haven’t received my refund I placed on the 22nd dec and now it’s the 7th January. My anxiety is up and my headspace is full. An official complaint and ombudsman maybe if it’s not in my PayPal account tomorrow. A firm that gets your money then passes you from one person to the next. Who knows what their aftersales would be like if something went wrong with a purchase. Stay clear is my advice

Although the watch I ordered eventually arrived, I had to chase twice to remind them that they had to send the watch which they had already taken the money for. I understand we are in difficult times but it's not acceptable to have to chase them twice. I honestly do not believe I would have received my watch without me chasing them.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered a Watch that was supposedly on sale only to have a phone call 3 days later to say they will not honour the price as it was a ‘pricing error’ No apology whatsoever. They have done the same with lots of people. I will never order from this company again. Be wary about ordering any items which are in the sale.

I actually purchased my ring on line, I loved a particular ring but it looked like it had black enamel a point’s around the cluster...I got to live chat to your rep and they advised it was just an illusion so I made my purchase😀

I cannot fault the customer service I received from Chisholm Hunter and particularly from Megan. She was extremely helpful and my queries were quickly dealt with. I would definitely buy from them again.

I bought a Gucci watch from these people and sent it back a month ago as it became discoloured just a short while after purchase. And now it is nowhere to be seen. After many calls and emails chasing for an update. The responsibility has been put on to Gucci apparently. I've been told that it could take another 8 weeks for me to even contemplate seeing my watch again. Disgraceful.

I just happen to be browsing at the diamond necklace where this lovely assistant Jing came out and asked what I was looking for. Jing took me inside and brought out all the options for me to choose from. Jing found me the diamond necklace that matched my ring I immediately fell in love with it. Jing’s service was outstanding trying all the different necklaces on around my neck and she was so patient. Jing also found me the matching earrings too to I ended up buying both necklace and earrings, thank you Jing I love them. Louise

I bought a watch from the Arndale Manchester store which turned out to be 2nd hand. The replacement watch for this is being classed as a SPECIAL ORDER. I now want to cancel for a refund but have been told I can't due to the special order. BE VERY AWARE OF THIS COMPANIES REFUND POLICY. The situation is still ongoing and I am dealing with Managers Michael and Asal. Very disappointed in this company.

£700 earrings lasted only 7 months before falling apart. We are very disappointed in the earrings I bought for my wife’s birthday. After just 7 months of very light use, they fell apart. By pure luck alone we managed to find the missing piece of the earring so that a repair would be possible. We contacted our local jeweller who said the design was very poor and they could see why they didn’t last. We then contacted Chisolm Hunter who asked us to return the broken earring for repair but, given the design was the main problem, there was little point repairing it to the same standard as it was originally designed to. We also had no confidence that the other earring would not break at the same weak point and we may not be lucky enough to find the missing piece if this happened. Instead, we paid our local jeweller £75 to improve on the design with a high quality repair so my wife could wear them with confidence that they wouldn’t fall apart again. Poor design and quality from Chisolm Hunter. This will be our last purchase from them as if they can’t make £700 earrings last more than 7 months there is something very wrong.

Ordered a new watch, was delivered in 48 hours, brilliant- oh new watch is not what I ordered- simple mistake, asked to return via DPD collection the next day- No problem incorrect watch returned as agreed. One week later........nothing........no new watch, no delivery date, no phone call........I've contacted Chisholm to enquire when I can expect delivery, as of yet..............nothing. So as it stands I have no idea whats going on.............

Collected a online purchase from Bluewater store, 1 item was unsuitable, the staff had no idea how to deal with it. I could not get a refund in store and had to wait for over an hour for a handwritten note saying I didn't leave the shop with the item. Two weeks later I got a call from the distribution centre saying my return was too late for a refund, when I explained that I had not returned the item the store had they apologised and said I could have my refund, the store staff did not add any explanation to the item returned just put it in an envelope and sent it back. So i suppose I was lucky the distribution staff bothered to trace me. Would never use the company again total nightmare.
