I ordered a very special birthday gift for my mother and it was to be delivered Wednesday. I heard nothing and she is 80 today and when I contacted their “help” desk I was told the mail will be back on track in a more leisurely manner AFTER Christmas and my mother would get her present NEXT THURSDAY. I’m in Canada and now I’ve sent her nothing. I’ll NEVER trust Chisholm Hunter again. So upset and angry

Received a pocket watch that only opened by 70° making it difficult to use. I returned for a refund. The refund took weeks and was only sent after I had written a Trustpilot review. This delay was apparently due to an investigation that should have taken 2-3 days. I was not sent any conclusion to this investigation. I am now struggling to get my return postage refunded even though promised via email. This performance by Chisholm is certainly not one I would be proud of. I can't see any reason why a company would behave in this way, other than not caring about their customers.

Watches put into Stirling store for repair on 29 August. Still not back. Repair was a simple battery replacement for one watch and a service and reseal for another. Email to customer service received a quick response but still no watches back. Email and letter to CEO received no response as yet. Two high end watches, and a simple repair takes three months and counting. I'm speechless as to my thoughts on Chisolm Hunter, Rado and Raymond Weil.

Don’t purchase in store as they don’t refund even when they reduce the price of your purchase a couple of days later.

Seiko 5 140th Anniversary Ltd. Ed. automatic watch, bracelet, SRPG47K1. When i received it there were no booklets in the box. I called them and they said they will forward it on to me. Never received the booklets and i didnt bother calling them again as i didnt want hear any more lies. Such a shame as i am looking for Tudor watch, i will get from somewere else more relaiable.

I seriously advise caution when thinking about buying a watch from this Company; they are unable to yell you how long the watch has been in their stock. Before selling to you!

Do not deserve any stars no interest in customer service. Utterly hopeless ,badly trained staff. I purchased ladies Longines watch Jan 2020 with a two year guarantee and paid cash The watch stopped working August this year ,and has only be worn on a few occasions, due to Ill health, I was only able to do something about it,this week.To be told by the Silverburn shop manager,Angela that the battery life of a longines watch is only 12-18 months.Why would a high end watch manufactor such as Longines offer a 2 years guarantee with a battery which only has a life of 12-18 months,? Puting a loyal Longines customer at inconvenience of having to send the watch away for six weeks plus to have a battery replaced? Customer service is zero. Be warned do not buy from a Company that does not care about their customer.Nil points for professionalism.  I Feel I have been sold an inferior watch. I accept that Chisholm and Hunter is not a top Jewellery retailer but I ignored that,due to convience not having to travel;my confidence came from buying "Longines" What a disappointment! I intend to take this up with Longines.Surely, there is a point of law here, where a retailer knowingly sells a watch fully expecting the battery to expire before the guarantee?? I have contacted watches of Switzerland in London,and they have advised my concerns and complaint will be passed to the Longines area manager for Scotland,to investigate. To further add Chisholm and Hunter was unable to advise when and how long the watch I purchased was in their stock before it was sold to me ? I have since learned from another "high end ,"retailer this is information they can provide,and have advised if their watches have been in their stock for too long then they are returned to the manufacturer,why can Chisholm and Hunter not provide the customer with this info? Do you have do something to hide.i wonder? I need to give feedback to Longines to advise if they care about their brand name then they will have to have some serious discussions with Chisholm and Hunter about advising the customer on how to sell a Longines time piece and deal professionally with any complaint.

I would strongly recommend against using Chisholm Hunter. I spent almost £3,000 on a Rolex and when it arrived it had issues which they didn’t mention at all. They told me all watches are ‘sold as seen’, which is in fact illegal. Their listing mentioned nothing of the issues and I believe they deliberately hid them, knowingly selling damaged pieces. Throughout a week of emails and calls they have let me down time and time again, no matter who I spoke to. There are many other pre-owned watch sellers online, I would suggest spending your money elsewhere as this has been a disaster from start to finish. I wouldn’t trust their stock, who knows what is wrong with it. I said I was happy to have the problems sorted at a reputable jewellers if they reimburse the cost (we are talking £200 here), unfortunately they would rather turn off future customers and existing ones instead.

Dealing with this company for over 6 weeks with regards to them buying my Rolex. Absolutely shambolic chain of events which has ended up costing me money and a vast amount of wasted time. Terrible communication false promises and an offer that never came to fruition, never again!

Sent me the wrong tracking number, meaning they’d sent my item to someone else… couldn’t get me a replacement, offered nothing by way of compensation apart from a gift card of unspecified value to shop with them again!! Rude customer service advisors and pathetic attempts at complaint resolution - buy from them at your own risk!

My husband bought my eternity ring from this company and unfortunately one of the diamonds fell out. As it was under warranty, we returned the ring in July for repair. We are still awaiting the return of my ring and have been continuously lied to as to its whereabouts. We have been told for over a week that it is in ‘transit’ and today, they finally admitted that they actually did not know where my ring was and it had been lost. When asked for a replacement (which won’t have the same sentimental value) or a refund, my husband was told he had to wait another week for this to be able to be processed. I am absolutely disgusted in the customer service and in the way the company have dealt with this situation.

I purchased a necklace on line for my wife, it was an unwanted gift as she didn't like the design. I therefore took it back to my local Chisholm Hunter store in Wigan for a refund with the intention of buying something more appropriate. I explained to the shop assistant it was unwanted and I requested a refund with the intention of returning later that week with my wife who was away on business. The assistant was very rude and abrupt with myself when I attempted to explain the above, making no attempt to make me feel comfortable. I have been purchasing items for quite sometime from yourselves however due to the nature of her attitude I will no longer be shopping with you again. Kindest regards.

I put 2 diamond rings into them to get sent away for evaluation. I was promised that they would be ready by 20/09/2021 They weren't. I had to call and call and call as nobody was answering the phones. Went to them in person and they gave excuse after excuse after excuse. They charged me a £50.00 deposit and then another £85.00 when I eventually got the rings back. They said that they would give 10% off because of the length of time I waited. So that should have been 10% off £135.00 right? WRONG! It was only 10% off the £85.00 It's a complete rip off as I went into H Samuel the other day and they said that they charge £60.00 for the first item and then £30.00 for each evaluation after that. AND THEY USE THE SAME EVALUATION HOUSE AS CHISHOLM HUNTER!!!!!! I tried to give them the 10% back as I felt it was an insult and they threatened to call the police if I didn't leave the store!!!!!! Very unprofessional and complete rip off artists. I will NEVER do business with them again. MY business is going to H Samuel next time. At least they charge the customer a fair price. An absolute disgrace!! They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau!!!

Very bad service and a unprofessional customer service. The worst store even i do business with. I will never buy again from them,i cancel order because i bought a engagement ring who was supposed to be ready between 3-6 weeks.Ring was not ready in time and vanish my engagement and also my holiday. I give them 2weeks until i am back from holiday to be hallmarked and ready for delivery,but the ring is still not ready,even if i have assurance for customer service coz ring will be ready when i will return from holiday. I speak several times with different peeple from customers service and i don’t receive even a goodwill gesture from them or a firther doscount to wait more for the item if they really care about a good customer,looks like they don’t care coz i cancel the order,even if on the same order i buy a necklace worth thousands.Is unacceptable the service i receive from a company who want to be respectable. Disgusted,silly service,not nice to lie me and vanish my engagement becausw they are unprofessional
