The watch I received from you, was in the wrong box with the wrong documentation? I cannot understand how this could have happened. So no I am not impressed with your service.

a terrible experice,I bought a watch which said will delivery just few days ,but wait for three month and sitll not receive it . Confused,It shows on the stock ,Online chat and phone only reply help me check but no any further response every time ,I complained by email and get a phone reply it will delivery on 27th November. thanks for the contact,but break promise again,no delivery one weeks later. A august birthday gift will be Christmas gift ,even not available in chritmas. Sad. Hope a active response.

Price good but delivery was not as promised from the live chat agreement made. Had to chase up several times and still don't have the correct strap for my watch. The free delivery didn't happen, so I had to pay it (and caused a further delay because the Post Office took the item back while postage paid). Expected a bit more for £2.5k paid as a lump sum.

I called the Buchanan Street store on the Sunday morning and was told my wife could pickup her jewelery that afternoon. When she got there they would not give her it After travelling some 40 mile round trip. Not pleased. I collected it the following week.

Item was not in stock despite showing in stock online. Specifically selected store as item was showing in stock. Travelled a fair distance for this reason. Staff were not particularly apologetic, attempted to blame me for coming to the store too early despite receiving confirmation that my order was ready for collection and collecting the item two days later. Had to travel to a second store to collect. Due to the expense and inconvenience, I would not recommend Chisholm Hunter for service.

Last two orders have both ended in disappointments. Atleast one Item from each order showing in stock. Only to be emailed to say it’s Not !. A shame as I have used this retailer many times and been happy.

Ordered watch and went v quiet. Rang to ask what is happening. Apparently they couldn't find the box for the watch. Agreed to send without box but they sent wrong watch. Made them aware so they sent prepaid Royal mail bag to return watch but bag too small so didnt fit. Had to sort this out myself. Told them wanted refund and took several days to confirm this by email. Takes ages and dispatch dept seems a shambles.

I bought a three strand gold necklet from Chisholm Hunter as a Golden Wedding Present for my wife. When the item arrived, it was disappointing - the price was about double that of three individual gold chains of equivalent weight and style. The real problem was the delivery. I ordered an item that was listed as being "in stock". When it hadn't arrived after a week, I rang to find out if there was a problem. I was assured that the necklet would arrive the next day. It didn't. I waited another couple of days - still no necklet. By this stage I was getting desperate as my Golden Wedding was approaching and I still had no gift for my wife. I rang again and arranged for the necklet to be delivered to another address for the family celebration. The next thing I hear is an e-mail, saying that Chisholm Hunter have dispatched the necklet to my home address not the alternative that I had arranged with Customer Services. Then to add to the confusion, Royal Mail delivers a necklet to the second address. I then spent an anxious weekend worrying whether another necklet had been delivered to my home address as well. It turns out that they hadn't. The moral of the story is that Chisholm Hunter doesn't deliver promptly or explain what is going on. In my case, I've had to accept a disappointing necklet because I ran out of time to find an alternative gift for my wife. I have given the company 2 Stars because they did provide a 3 strand gold necklet and they did finally sort out the delivery problem.

Ordered an item online to collect at my chosen branch. 7 days later, I had heard nothing about my order. Had to contact customer service to ask if my order was ready to collect, which it was.

Whilst the sales assistant was helpful - there was a group of Chinese ladies being assisted beside me and they were bartering for price and got the lowest price they asked for - as a regular Chisholm hunter customer was disappointed that I wasn’t offered discount particularly when website offered further 10% off diamonds - I will be taking my custom elsewhere in future

Watch ordered via a third party cash back site that I use (Top Cash Back) on 12th May. Watch arrived very promptly and well packaged (so far so good). Cash back was not showing on Top Cash Back site so logged a missing claim. Claim has sat unchanged “action sitting with vendor” ever since. Emailed Chisholm Hunter 3rd July - no response. Called them 27th July and spoke to the very pleasant Alison who promised a call back. No call back so phoned again 3rd August “enquiry sitting with manager - Craig”. Not the end of the world - bigger things to worry about. Just a wee bit disappointing - especially from a Glasgow based company that has a reputation for quality.

After taking 2 watches back as faulty we finally got it sorted. Alma in Kingston was incredibly helpful, I can’t say much for any else we dealt with though, it felt like we were an annoyance.

Website difficult to navigate, order tracking was not updated and after 2 weeks of waiting I had to contact them to be told that my order had been ready for collection for over a week. Products not as described. Items show a chain on the website but did not come with one. Very vague descriptions which didn’t indicate either way. Would not recommend Chisholm Hunter to anyone, especially if you are looking for a jewellers that you can trust.

Apart from the ring not suiting I was underwhelmed by the packaging, didn’t feel special at all for a wedding ring. Then when I wanted to return it, I had to pay my own shipping and insure it. Had the opposite experience with Beaverbrooks. I would mind but we both had our original rings from CH. I called the shop to find out details of my husbands lost ring but they couldn’t help. Not a great experience.

Delivery took longer than should have, paid a lot of money for a gift and packaging was very poor. Not even a gift bag enclosed. Probably won’t use again given the money spent.

I was advised by email the item was in store for collection. When I attended I was advised that the item had not been delivered. This was in March and I still do not have the item which was a Mother’s Day present.
