“A Bergen sideboard was delivered badly damaged. It was delivered by one man at 5.45 in the morning! It was made of very thin material and was very light so not surprised it was damaged. The return was efficient as was the collection, money refunded promptly.”

“Found some tables online and wanted to check them out instore. Staff instore were so helpful. We purchased and were told 5 - 7 day delivery time. Our items arrived the following morning at 8.45am. Delivery guy was super polite & helpful. So many lovely items instore will definitely be visiting again!”

“Paid over £200 for a bookcase that looks like is was made by a 5 year old Poor quality unfinished wood, uneven & botched together with offcuts, staples sticking out, pieces don't fit together properly, back hanging off and it's covered in splits where nails have been put in. Great delivery but genuinely save your money and buy elsewhere, not even worth half what I paid for it. Tried to add pictures but won't upload unfortunately.”

“We ordered furniture for our lounge from Chiltern oak. We were notified prior to our delivery that one item was missing & that it would take 2 weeks for it to come. On the delivery date the furniture was brought by their carrier company by two very helpful, polite men. Everything was intact and packed very well. We are very pleased with it. The day after we had an email from DPD to say they would be delivering our last item the day after. It arrived and again everything good. We are very pleased with all aspects of this process from ordering, contacts, delivery and all the items we purchased.”

“My son ordered 2 bedside tables and a chest 29.1.23, for some reason they didnt text him or send an email but sent a automatic message on our house phone which wasn't clear with a bad signal so didn't know who it was from! I chased the company on 7th February after being on hold for nearly 30mins to be told they had tired to deliver that day but no one in my sons new house with being at work! The lady took my mobile number and said they would contact me that way, well today another automatic message on my house phone which I have tired to ring back but that doesn't work cos automated! I have rang Chiltern Oak to be again on hold for 30 mins, the lady did apologise and said my mobile number was down but why it wasn't used she didn't know, so the furniture is confirmed for delivery next week so it better be worth it and not damaged in anyway! sorry very poor service and we haven't got the furniture yet. “The quality of items are good....unfortunately their delivery side of things is poor. Ordered 2 items, both were in stock when ordered. Received 1 item yet still waiting for 2nd item. Will be 3 weeks from ordering yet still no item. Email response was should be dispatching next week! To be honest if I had known there would be a long delay between the 2 items I would not of ordered them in the first place.”

“Terrific support and service- I was very impressed with the efficient delivery service and the very courteous and pleasant young man Lucien who with his colleague delivered our bedroom furniture. They arrived incredibly punctually too- unloaded and then waved a cheery goodbye. We are delighted with our bedroom furniture purchase. Additionally when I was in a dilemma about choosing further furniture possibly from a different range which looked very similar a wonderful customer service lady called Charlene showed great interest and courtesy in my dilemma. She sent photographs of both colour ranges simultaneously which clarified the differences in each range of furniture after listening carefully. She was amazing and genuinely kind . It’s wonderful to get this type of caring support via internet and phone in this day and era of distance often manifested in uncaring customer service - Thank you Charlene for listening and helping as you did. It’s been a pleasure doing business with this company. 👍”

“After reading so many good reviews, I am disappointed to be writing a poor one. Ordered an item online on 2nd Jan. When I ordered, it said there were 4 left. Received a confirmation email straight away & the money was taken from my account. On the 10th January I emailed to find out how long delivery would be. I received an auto reply to say my email would be responded to within 72hrs. By the 16th Jan I still hadn’t heard anything about delivery of my item so I called. I waited 18 mins for someone to answer the phone however, the person I spoke to was very apologetic & explained that the item simply hadn’t been brought up from the warehouse for delivery & that I would receive delivery within a week. 4 days later, still no news so I called again to be told that the item was out of stock & had been discontinued!! If I hadn’t of called who knows when I would have been told this as to this day, I still haven’t received a response to my email. Here’s hoping my money is refunded back to me quickly. Very poor experience which has put me off using this company ever again.”

“I ordered a glass cabinet, it was delivered on time, i received plenty of email updates prior to delivery. I paid the extra to have it unpacked and put into place, which i was happy with on the day 2 polite and efficient delivery men. Ive also had a nest of tables delivered via courier, again easy to track and on time. All in all very pleased with items and service.”

“Children Oak supply such great quality furniture. I have bought both a TV cabinet and matching coffee table and love them both. The service is great too and I was kept up to date on when delivery would happen. For the quality of the items I think the prices are excellent.”

“I ordered Falmouth low bookcase based on description as being 90cm high. I even emailed customer service to check sizes. I received a box that looked as if it had been opened several times containing a bookcase which was 120cm high. Website still incorrect, I now have to wait over a week for it to be collected.”

“After visiting the store, we placed an order for an industrial sideboard and dining table. If you can’t visit the store due to distance, the quality and aesthetics of the furniture is like advertised online. We were thrilled with both items, two stylish and robust pieces of furniture. Would definitely recommend.”

“We ordered bookcase. Bookcase comes in 2 parts. First time delivery had wrong top part and was returned . 2nd delivery shelves didn’t align to holes. 3rd time they sent someone to fix it and the only suggestion was to remove parts of the shelving using pliers to make it fit! Item returned and 2 weeks later still waiting on refund. Do not buy from this company not a good experience.”
