“Copy of email sent to your sales team 17.09.21 (No reply received) Order #100002855 Hello, Just to let you know I was very pleased with the Captain’s Office Chair that arrived yesterday. It always seems a bit of a gamble buying something online that you can’t see and try out in person but in this case the gamble paid off - a beautiful, sturdy, well made piece of furniture. Thank you! Unfortunately the delivery was more problematic. "In the UK we offer either our own delivery service or one of our specialist furniture carrier companies that will deliver your furniture into your home (subject to access). They will remove all packaging and ensure that you are 100% happy that your furniture has arrived in good condition.” The lone TNT driver managed to carry the box to my front door - and then left. Luckily my husband was at home so together we were able to unpack the chair and take it inside. We then had to sort and deal with all the packaging materials. Only the cardboard box could go in our home recycling bin (after being cut into smaller pieces) which meant that today we had to take all the plastic and foam to our council’s waste site several miles away. All good exercise, but it did make me wonder how I would have managed if a) I lived on my own, and b) didn’t have a car.”

“On website and sample our chair had a worn/faded effect on the highlights. In reality though they were hardly noticeable. After rubbing them with cellulose thinners however they were much more acceptable.”

“Wrong postcode so delivery drivers ended up at Darlington. Phoned plenty of time and finally arrived. Great service, delivery men were so polity and helpful. So good service we ordered another chair. Excellent quality exactly was I required.”

“We took receipt of our long awaited Chesterfield suite - 3 seater bed settee , Queen Anne chair , club chair and footstool. Absolutely love it and would recommend the firm to anyone. Was unable to view due to covid and we weren’t disappointed. Great customer service and delivery service”

“Having purchased a suite a few years ago from Chesterfield Direct the quality of the product is undoubtedly the highest of any suite I’ve owned over the years, hard wearing and durable. Unfortunately a new puppy deemed it appropriate to test the seat cushions for flavour causing some damage. An email in hope late one weekend evening was very promptly answered and details passed to allow for an order to obtain replacement leather cushion covers. Questions were asked by Chesterfield Direct to ensure that I was ordering the correct items. Goods ordered and subsequently delivered. Delivered on time, the correct product and most importantly the correct shade. Customer services ensured contact throughout to keep me updated and delivery was scheduled. The delivery arrived on time, undamaged and by friendly courteous staff. Excellent customer service at all times and without doubt one of the best companies I have dealt with over the years for product quality and service to the customer.”

“I ordered a Cromwell Regency Desk and a Court Stand Chair at the beginning of November. They arrived earlier than we expected on 21 December. The delivery gentlemen brought it in and set it up as required. I am very pleased with both items. They are excellent quality and exactly as described.
