Ordered a coat jacket which arrived promptly it was lovely but too big I returned the item the next day and received my refund within a week . I would definitely order from chesca again even after reading the bad reviews .

Please could I have my refund for items sent back at the beginning of February, 2022. It’s now six weeks and I still haven’t got it. I would have bought more clothes from you if I had received a refund for items sent back. I have left numerous messages with Jackie Green (and my phone number) but never have a reply and your phone doesn’t put the customers through to speak to anyone.

I ordered the Chesca navy scallop which was on offer for £75 Whilst the lace top is most satisfactory the dress is not as described It is just the lining with no chiffon overlay I have not returned it as I’ve read really bad reports of refund delays I am very disappointed and only pleased that I didn’t pay the normal price I do like the looks of some of the other dresses but am now reluctant to order invade they are not as described Sorry to be so negative but I really am disappointed

This company has a good opportunity to sell clothes but returns policy prevents further sales. They hold your refund for far too long which is corrupt really. No online seller withholds refunds as long as they do. Buyers Beware, they must be struggling so avoid at all costs from ordering from Chesca. This needs to be highlighted on sites similar to Trip Advisor to warn customers.

I ordered a dress from them at a cost of £250. It was too long so I returned it. That was 4 weeks ago today and I have still not received a refund. I had an email 7 days ago stating that they would process the refund by close of business that day and still no refund. I have emailed and called them again today and have been told that no refund has been processed yet and they will get someone to do it today, not an instant transfer it will take a few days so assuming I do receive payment it will have taken nearly 5 weeks to get a refund. DO NOT ORDER DIRECT FROM THIS COMPANY. Order through John Lewis as they processed a refund within a day or so. I note a lot of other people stating they have had the same issues with Chesca Direct, it makes me wonder whether they are in financial difficulties.

I ordered a dress and shawl as a mother of the bride outfit cost £380. I phoned them first to check they existed and checked out their retail shops really existed too. I spoke to a very pleasant person who took my order. The dress duly arrived several days later, but no pre warning via email of when it was due to arrive so luckily i was in. Tried dress on and size was massive . I still liked the outfit but decided it was not quite right for me and to be honest for the price the quality was not top notch either. I returned the dress the next day and tracked its return. I am still waiting for the refund. i tried phoning many times but only had call answered three times and each time a very pleasant person replies and blames the finance dept. The acceptance of the order , goods delivered and return signed for by company took a total of 5 days. Its now 20 days since the Order was returned and still no refund! BUYER BEWARE!,

I ordered a top £175 for my sons wedding, payment was made straight away , after 5 days it did not come I emailed them , also tried to phone them ,I left a message they said some one would get to me ,but they did not . so I emailed again 7 days after I ordered asking where my top was, they sent a reply saying sorry it was out of stock and would have to source their Ireland shop for stock, finally after 12 days it arrived ,it was too tight on one arms , so I decided to return it, I emailed them to let them know, the label they sent me was not free returns ,which I got as my top was over £150, so waited for the new returnee label to come ,then sent it back to them, Itracked it and they recieved it within 2 days of posting, no refund so I emailed asking them to confirm they had recieved it , they didnt reply ,tried phoning them ,they didnt answer. so had to email again ,finally they said yes they had recieved it , but no mention of refund , so again I emailed them asking when will I get my refund ? so far ive not heard a thing back, I will give them up to 2 weeks from receiving my top back then will take action ,there quick to take your money ,as people have said but not refund it shocking customer service's, Iwould never buy again from them

I ordered a dress at the beginning of February and it arrived a week later. I returned it to Chesca Direct as it was too big and they received it on the 13th February. I have only just received my refund (13th March). I did phone to ask why this was taking so long at the beginning of March and they said their Finance Dept. had not processed the refund. It was over £200. BEWARE WHEN ORDERING DIRECT FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR A REFUND. I will not be dealing with this company in the future.

They are a dreadful company, 14 days and no refund yet magically they take your money in a second. Now I have to wait another 5 days for 'bank processing '. Utter nonsense. Do Not Buy Online From Them.

My son is getting married soon. I phoned Chesca directly and customer service were extremely helpful, advising sizing and options. The clothes were beautiful but one or two had faults which were replaced without question. The staff were so kind and professional. 100%! My only disappointment is in regard to the refunding policy. Why a two week delay before returning my money when the items were returned immediately? In this age of instant payments such a delay is unethical. However their policy is made clear on purchase so I cannot complain. I would recommend Chesca because the clothes are fabulous and so are the staff!

I returned a £381 dress and was told it would take up to 10 days to receive my cash back. I chased to be sure the return arrived ok which it did and was told my cash would be back in my account 25th March at the latest. 26th March 11 days after it was received back I still had not received my cash so phoned to be told it would be done today and could take 3 days. That is totally unacceptable and I will never purchase another item from this company and would not recommend anyone does if there is any chance you may want to return the item for credit
