“Reported Hazardous Supplements 8 Months Ago, still being sold Hi, I am still waiting for a reply to an email I sent on 3 March 2023, reporting products made of shark cartilage and shark liver oil, which have been proven to be unsafe for human consumption. Attached to the email, I also sent over half a dozen peer-reviewed studies, including randomised controlled trials, that alerted to the high risk and inefficiency of those supplements, claiming they ‘could pose a potential health risk for consumers,’ ‘the consumption of shark products may pose a human risk for BMAA (‘a candidate environmental risk factor for neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Parkinson-dementia complex’) exposures.’ Sharks are in the top 3 of fish with highest mercury levels.”

“Very poor service. Sent me the wrong item and tried to blame me for their mistake. Very irresponsible attitude for a company who dispense drugs for a living, you'd think they would be more accurate with what they advertise.”

“This company is a joke. I ordered items from them once before and they didn’t arrive, despite me receiving an email confirming delivery. I EVENTUALLY got a refund and recently gave chemist direct another chance, as we all make mistakes. Yet again, I didn’t receive my full order and was accused of lying as the “CCTV showed both items were packaged”- here I would like to add that I had confirmation the items MAy arrive separately. Two weeks later and still not received all the items ordered. I raised a dispute with my bank and got refunded instantly- with a an advisory stating “we have detected scams from this ********* and advise you do not purchase from chemist direct again. Enough said. SCAMMERS.”

“Absolutely rubbish was asked same questions twice I replied I rang couldn't get through 4 days later still waiting cant leave the house we have covid but there lack of care quite frankly has been at best negligent I've asked 3 times for a refund still no response take my advice dont bother”

“The customer service is really bad , people on the phone don't seem to care at all. I have ordered optifast products from them online and they changed my order as what I ordered was out of stock. I contacted them couple of times and finally they e mailed me a label to drop the wrong item which I did, then I have not heard anything back, I sent an email asking when I would receive the right products and they informed me then that they would issue me a refund and I have to re order the products again. Well after almost 3 weeks I am still chasing that refund , i checked online and they have received the wrong products but still not refunding me.”

“The items they sell are grossly overpriced and they do not appear to understand the difference between PoM (Prescription only), P (Pharmacy only) and GSL (General Sales List = Over the counter) medicines.”

“I have placed an order since April and not yet received up to date. They claim that it is not their responsibility and will not compensate nor refund for my lost at all.”

“Dont like to issue painkillers on repeat without deciding that they are qualified to assess the level of pain of a complete stranger through a email even though Ive suffered unbearable pain for several years. Avoid these people like the plague. The dictatorial attitude is beyond belief”

“This is the second time I order from them and get an email saying that the item is out of stock, however they do take the payment.they have a email of which no body bothers to reply am so annoyed with their service and I will NEVER ORDER from them again, useless bunch they just totally ignore you”

“scammer cloned my debit card and used in supermarket and elsewhere took out 700 quid after ordering from them 4 days earlier scammers fraudster do not use if youwant your card cloned and used”

“Ordered some fairly urgent stuff - several days later, nothing. I emailed and they told me the whole order was being held to wait for one out of stock item - they ahd not bothered to tell me. As the items in stock were urgent, I asked them to send those - no reply - pretty hopeless”

“Extremely poor service. In spite of the fact that I have been a good customer of theirs for some time, they cancelled my order with the excuse that I did not verify my address. They did not ask me to and as I have lived at the same address for over 40 years and they have sent deliveries to it for a number of years recently there was no reason why I needed to verify it.”

“Cancelled my order after waiting 11 days for delivery. They held back a £55 order waiting for 1 item valued a 49p and refused to send the rest of the order until they could complete the order! Cancelled my account and bought the goods on Amazon. Saved £25 and got next day delivery”

“Order arrived very quickly and reasonably priced. Just be careful if signing up to 'Auto reorder & save', as it's not like Amazon, you have to pay postage & delivery”
