“My order arrived on time. The packaging was good. The boots were very good quality and lovely leather unfortunately they weren’t what I was looking for so had to return them. I only gave 4 stars because I disliked having to pay for returns and that would certainly put me off shopping with Charles Clinkard again”

“As someone who is not brilliant with technology and a new customer, I always worry that the order process may be complicated. However, it was straightforward, though when I tried to use "Amazon Pay" it would not work. I had to manually input card details. I then worried in case the payment could be deducted twice. Having contacted customer services by e-mail and received a reply within 24 hours I was happy. I felt the slippers were slightly overpriced for the quality but not by much. Sadly the handbag was faulty. I noticed double stitching beside the zip and when I looked underneath it was clearly an attempt to catch the lining which was missed the first time. However, it had not been successful so there was a 4-inch hole in the lining. The service received in terms of obtaining a return label and refund was excellent. No Issues at all with Charles Clinkard. I would definitely use them again especially as I did not have to create yet another account and password and could use my amazon credentials.”

“I ordered a pair of shoes online which arrived quickly but unfortunately the shoe size was incorrect although the size on the box was correct. I took the shoes to the Witney branch to change them. The team at the shop were very apologetic and helpful. They sourced the correct shoes from another branch and had them ready for me within a couple of days. I am very grateful for their assistance as I wanted the shoes to attend a funeral.”
