“I ordered some boots online which were advertised as wide fitting. They arrived in good time and were well packed but they were not wide enough to cater for my high instep. I sent them back at own expense , which was quite a lot. Our local shop has closed so there was no alternative.”

“Service in the store was helpful. Although the store did not have shoes in the colour I wanted, staff were very willing to order them. The shoes were delivered within 1-2 days & I was pleased how quickly they arrived. Unfortunately they weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped but I was able to return them to the store without any difficulty.”

“I was looking for specific boots, as instore didn't have my size, located them online luckily without a problem, ordering was easy and straightforward, I was kept informed of my order status, as I'd ordered two pairs, one pair wasn't suitable, I took the unwanted pair back to our local store, who were happy to process the return, So overall pleased on this occasion with my purchase.”

“The shopping experience online was great, delivery of product great. Only issue I have is, it isn't appropriate the amount of emails, marketing a new customer receives after their initial order. In fact, I want to say that I was asked to review the order before I even received the order. And I do not want to here that i can unsubscribe when I do want to subscribe and hear about things, it is just the volume of stuff and/or timing of it in relation to a new customer.”

“Used this company even though boots were slightly cheaper elsewhere because of good service in the past. Boots arrived promptly. 2 of the same pairs ordered for sizing. 2 different pairs arrived! After a telephone conversation, however, a free returns label was supplied. Happy with the matter was dealt with and would order from CC again.”

“My original order for a pair of ladies boots was lost and after a few phone calls resigned myself to never receiving them. My money was credited back with no hassle. A few days later I received an email saying they were back in stock if I still wanted them. They arrived within 2 days. My faith has been restored in on line ordering. “I have purchased shoes from this retailer in Leeds, Northallerton and the Meadowhall since 1992, as a shop they have always been a professional retailer. My recent on line experience was different, the product I received was faulty and it was delivered to a CC shop, not the DPD collection point as requested. Customer service upon contacting them Ref the different delivery location, didn’t and couldn’t understand my issue, and were not pro active to resolve costing me a trip out into Leeds. Ref the fault, another shoe (Trickers Bourton) was not available in stock so I accepted the fault.”

“I made my order by phone. The girl was very helpful and efficient and took my order quickly. The parcel the box arrived in was too big and flimsy and was broken and taped. The delivery driver did apologise for the state of the box, it did mean that one of the shoe boxes inside was also damaged.”
