BP Pulse were recommended to me by Mercedes. Scheduling of charge start time is important now to avoid peak times, but this feature has never worked. After many calls & Emails, BP finally pointed to some very small print buried in the detail of their contract which they tell me proves it’s not their responsibility. So, although scheduling is advertised as a feature, I am left with a dumb charger that just charges the car when it’s plugged in. Appalling customer service - do not go there.

App never works, you have to either call them every time you want to charge via the app or use your credit card at an extortionate rate. Absolutely ridiculous.

What a load of rubbish stay clear of this company not interested I’m charging only selling new electricity on chargers out and about at an extortionate rate Be very careful would just get another company

Do not use, they robbed me blind on the pending charge of £15. They had the cheek to email me when I queried the whereabouts of my refund and advise that I apply to my Bank and dispute it. All further emails I sent them were ignored. I have proof of this. An appalling company and no wonder BP have made billions in profit. My bank eventually refunded the money.

Beware - having placed order and paid over £1000.00 I find myself doing the job of a electrician, carrying out my own survey. After 30 mins of form filling and photo taking, that was not enough I receive an email asking for more photos, I asked do you not have your own electricians the asker was no - we sub-contract. Having read so many poor reviews and in light of my experience, I cancelled my order, I was given a case number and told the refund dept did no take phone calls. I WONDER WAY ?

shocking customer service and company I am a member and pay a monthly subscription and have a direct debit set up so they take my monthly payments for use of the machine where I park my car in London. Recently the card has been saying `invalid card`, transpires that BP Pulse didnt take the direct debit last month (apparently happens regularly), I have called them but i need someone to respond to me and send me a link to make the payment, meanwhile they have said `it can take up to 48 hours`. complete disgrace as a regular customer that has a DD set up through my business

Appalling customer service. I've been charged overstayed charges for points that have not worked properly. The Appa is innacurtate, does not list all chargers have not even appeared on the BP pulse app map (which is in itself is substandard)

Apparently the Harthill BP Pulse charge points off the M8 can't operate by credit/debit card payment, yet the charge point display offers that as a payment option and there's a card swipe point under it.??!!!??? Very helpful Technical Support on the phone got me connected.

Had a charge just off the M26 paid contactless, charged just over £10 for the use but additional 5 lots of £30? Why have the £30 charged if you have paid for the electric used. Called them and they say it will take 30 days for the £150 to be re-inbursted Very poor practice, going to contact my local MP of BP bad practice.

Terrible. Had to attempt charging 4 times as it kept failing, and BP Pulse have decided that they can hold £120 from my card ghat I will have to pay temporarily, and it will take 30 days to be refunded…. Never any problems at all with other suppliers, and BP Pilse does not work AND I have loan them, to be their bank for 30 days. WOW! Terrible!

My car failed to charge on 31st July. I noticed that I had been charged 2 fees. 1 for £1.50 and 1 for £15. These were showing as pending in my account. I phoned the number on the unit and was advised that BP would not confirm these payments as the unit showed I had not charged my car. The charges were processed by BP the next day and I have been trying to get my money refunded ever since. They are terrible to deal with and I will not use them again

WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. NOT RECOMMEND. LEFT DISABLED MAN WITHOUT BEEN ABLE TO CHARGE MOBILITY CAR AS IT HAS NEARLY CAUGHT FIRE IN HOME.STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ATTEND TO MAKE SAFE AND FIX.

Didn't get money back for 2 months (£60)after using charger as guest. I have call polar many times and all the advisers promise money will get back shortly but still not here... One of the worst customer service ever. They give you reference number which doesn't mean nothing. When you call them again you need to say everything again and again. The emails was send for them more than 1 month ago and no respond or apologies as well! Avoid using guest option as your money can be frozen for 2 months!!! Zero from rating !

125 days (4.5 months), to complete a warranty repair on home charge unit. Ignored, gaslighted and disbelieved by BP Pulse. Complaints team, via CEO took 3 months to act. Continual chasing required to get any response. Promises made by customer service and complaints team never delivered, meaning more chasing, stress and hassle. AVOID.

Simply appalling customer service; staffed by lovely people who have no idea about their company's products or how to resolve any issues arising. Matched with a home wall charger that is not fit for purpose = (for you) most probably one of the most frustrating and disappointing chapters in your motoring life. If you are thinking of BP Pulse, then reconsider. If you have an order with them, then cancel it, take the £150 hit and instead switch to a home charge supplier who know what they are doing instead (just Google home EV chargers). This will save you time, money, and your sanity in the longer term.

Thanks to Tobias a helpline operative after initially been disappointed at not being able to start my 1st membership charge session when the were 6 x 50kW chargers but probably 4 in error state we were able to sort the charge points which were emergency stopped, not responding to touch or which started but did not have CCS available. Was able to charge and then be on my way.

Really awful. Would recommend using other ports or companies. Swindon, Wilts is a nightmare for charging. Most stations are out of order and have been for a while . Or work for a week then brake again. The charging port at BP Garage, Coate Water only has 1 port and the other has been broken for atleast 2 months and not fixed .

Re: BP Pulse 24158 at Solstice Park (Amesbury) on the afternoon of Sunday 22nd May. The BPP app was telling me that it was 'not available' notwithstanding that I had just seen a previous user drive off the point to allow me on it! I immediately rang CS who, as usual, replied quickly, were v polite and helpful and automatically started up the point. I charged my car and left 90 minutes later. This was something of a relief because I have had difficulties at all the other fast chargers at that location. Well done BP!
