Great idea Barry as you get 8% discount on iTunes at Cardyard. Apple have brought out a new gift card - the Apple Gift Card which will replace iTunes and we sell for 7% discount. Thanks for leaving your review. Mike

“I've used this to purchase several Amazon giftcards. All purchases went through, and the cards were loaded with the promised amount (one or two £10 cards, several £25 cards). The main downside of a Cardyard sale is the minuscule discount for Amazon cards. A discount of only 3% is not much; I can get almost as much using an Amazon credit card. The small value of the Cardyard discount is probably due to the fact that they need extensive customer services operations to prevent scammers from using their platform. I see some reviews that worry about scammers; and since Cardyard cannot control what Amazon does with their giftcards, that's a valid concern. Cardyard doesn't obtain the cards directly from Amazon, but from private sellers, and what stops these sellers from redeeming the cards before the sale? For that reason, Cardyard is actively scanning for scammers, and reimbursing buyers in case. So that never happened to me yet; all Amazon giftcards that Cardyard sold me were legit and I could fully use them on my Amazon account. So I was never scammed; all my purchases went through just fine; but in case a future purchase doesn't work, I will rely on Cardyard customer services; and I hope they'll fix it. But the CS employees need to get a decent call centre salary; and that cost IMO prevents Cardyard from offering a bigger discount (12-15%) on Amazon giftcards. But overall, 4 star service; one star short of the 5 only because of the really low discount of only 3%.”

Amazon are seen to be quite valuable so we have to offer good rates to the sellers which doesn't leave much discount for the buyers. I look forward to seeing you again in future. Best wishes, Mike

“Great site to buy or sell gift cards. I frequently use this site to buy gift cards which I use for everyday spending, giving me 3-4% discount on groceries and fuel for my car. A clever way to cut costs in these difficult times without reducing quality or quantity. Highly recommend site since the gift cards are delivered by e-mail almost instantaneous at the time of purchase.”

“At first, probably like everyone I was a bit cautious and sketched out by sending gift cards to some website but now, after selling more than 20 gift cards I can happily vouch for this website and that it's completely legit. I also bought gift cards myself with store credit (more value that way when selling) and they did come to my email instantly and worked with no problems. I understand the 2 week fund holding period once your gift card sells but I wish they would have some sort of "trusted" system where once you verify your identity or something similar for security purposes you could get your credit faster. It's not a deal-breaker but would be nice to have. Email notifications for newly listed Giftcards don't seem to work correctly, I had a couple of subscriptions that I never was emailed about but they were newly listed on the website when I manually checked. Other than that it's 5/5 website and it gets my praise.”

We completely understand it's natural to be hesitant on sending your gift card details online but we can assure you we are a safe and legitimate site, and I am glad you now know that. I hear what you are saying about the faster payment however it's something we can't offer due to that the 2-week payment is in place so this gives buyers time to use the cards and report any problems, should they occur. Our stock notifications should be up and running, they are sent out daily. Feel free to contact our customer support and I would be more than happy to have a look for you to see what's going on.

“I cannot help but be somewhat annoyed at the uneducated that leave Cardyard unnecessary bad reviews without even reading how they operate. I got exactly what I expected in a slightly (2 days) quicker timeframe than estimated and would use again as and when I have unwanted vouchers. Sent to them a Google Pay e-card voucher of £50 on 06/04/22. Was sold the same day with an estimated paypal payment date of 21/04/22 and actually paid on 19/04/22 at the £37.50 value quoted. If anyone does not read the terms and conditions or for that matter is annoyed by the fact there is an 'escrow' period then they need to think on that businesses need to put something in place to ensure there is no fraudulent activity between the initial seller and subsequent purchaser. A trustworthy platform for selling unwanted vouchers with clear communications, highly recommended in my opinion.”

“I’m not sure what the point of this site is other than to obtain a large amount of personal information. I have a gift card to sell and had to give lots of personal details including my address and bank account details, to then be told I had ‘failed’ and couldn’t sell the gift card. The company offer no explanation what I have failed, why or how to remedy it. What are this company doing with my data, who is processing it and what have I failed? They now have no interest in selling my gift card but have all my details. The customer service is extremely poor and offer no solution to the problem?”

We share your frustration Dan and like you, we had put a lot of effort into your sale which was for a high value item. Because of this we asked for ID which we sent to TransUnion, a data bureau. Their details are in our privacy policy, and are also included in the email when we request ID (though we realise wasn't in the email we sent you which has lead to a review and change of our process). It is rare for ID checks to fail, but we have to rely on TransUnion to keep us all safe. Due to this failure, we are unable to accept your card. We process thousands of cards a week and have to take precautions to keep the quality of our service as high as it is. I understand it is very frustrating to be denied our service, and I hope you are able to achieve your aims some other way. Best wishes, Mike

Hi Richard, we accept a huge range of retailers but as these gift cards come from the public, we cant request what people send in. Lots of retailers are sold within minutes of being on sale. Our discounts are also at the best rates they can be, any discount is a saving in comparison to paying full price.

“Purchased a river island card for the value of £50. With £5 discount. Tried to use card and it was empty. It was a Sunday so customer service not around, took until Monday PM to get a refund which then took til Friday to arrive in my bank. Seems like a good idea... not sure how i ended up with an empty card.”

Hi Sarah, I am very sorry this was your experience however we did assist you last Sunday, we run a policy of investigating for 24 hours before issuing a refund. We corresponded with you last Sunday and Monday and you were happy with our response and the refund was agreed on and issued on Monday

“DO NOT SELL!! They scammed me out of a £30 gift card and won’t refund me my money! They took the information of the card and ran.”

You were paid for 2 Pandora cards to which you informed us that this was not correct as you used them. You then decided to sell them somewhere and have encountered a problem with one of the cards. 'We recommend only selling gift cards on a specialist gift card exchange. We have corresponded over this issue and let you know the outcome.

“Hey, I have now used Cardyard for almost 2 months selling multiple gift cards. More than £ 1500 sold. What they promise is what you will get. I have never been disappointed from their service or delay for payment straight to my account. Just waiting now as valuable provider to get faster payment. Many Thanks Laurent”

“Buying gift codes off the internet is a little daunting as there’s little assurance that what you are buying is genuine and not a scam I’ve used cardyard for well over a year and have found them to be thoroughly trustworthy; one issue out of more than fifty purchases, and that was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I have no reservation in thoroughly recommending this service; why wouldn’t you save x% when buying from well recognised brands - it’s a no brainer!!”

“Very good business, frequently updated offers, sometimes you have to be quick with popular stores, but you can set notifications. Happy to recommend, just check length of gift cards and if online / in store, if you have particular preference.”
