“Very good service from start to finish. Lots of communication. Very efficient and friendly service. No heavy sales pitch, very lovely gentleman. Windows and doors I purchased were amazing . Instalation chaps were efficient and friendly. Cleaned up after themselves and Very careful within my property.”

“Being a small company and given a time slot to pick up glass - can understand with covid but still going on now. My work schedule just is not flexible to come away at time slot”

“Once we got through the warrant, the quality of the product and workmanship was excellent. Unfortunately, the time to get drawings, correct mistakes and then get a warrant meant the whole process was almost 2 years from first payment, although the pandemic almost certainly had a hand to play in this. Nevertheless I would recommend this company to anyone.”

“Sales team were awesome but the communication around fitting dates and problems with the completion certificate were particularly poor. Despite numerous phone calls and promises to call me back, I had to eventually resort to going public on Facebook. Huge thanks to original sales team for finally sorting. A significant cost for poor aftercare.”

“From inspection quotation to fitting the selected materials the system was flawless. Fitters turned up on time and tidied up afterwards with the service exactly what it said in the brochure . First class would not only use again but recommend to anyone.”

“Changed conservatory roof from polycarbonate to lightweight flat roof. Excellent service, from initial measure & quote to old roof being removed new lightweight installed, and completed inside to a very satisfactory high standard within the week, very competent, pleasant and very tidy workers. Delighted overall. This is the 2nd time we have used the Cairngorm Group & with materials and tradesmen in high demand, you will not go wrong with them for any home improvements.”

“The installation of our conservatory was very efficiently managed and the builders were excellent. No complaints there. However, a few weeks post build, a blown pane of glass became obvious, which was reported, and then a second, before the first had been fixed. During this wait, I was asked numerous times to send photos of the panes, which I did, yet progress was non existent. The build finished in mid October 2022 and it was the end of March 2023 before both panes were replaced- so approx 6 months. We have now reported a third blown pane of glass and we also have a conservatory window which is not opening. While the build was very good, the after sales service has been inefficient and we are very disappointed.”

“Had 2 houses to be done,windows,doors,facia and soffits,started at first house eventually did windows and doors then left,winter time came and I informed them no work to be carried out until weather Inproved. Then they started at other house which I left them to it,the 2 young installers had no respect to the property as damage was done,took photos and spoke to one of the directors and sent him the photos and to my dismay he stated how do I know that damage was there before we arrived,at the end a chap was sent to repair the damage he was there for 3 days. As for the installation manager,if and when I got a hold of,requires to do a course in customer relations as was very rude and pathetic,when I complained about the guttering(water flow) at the second house a chap came and spent approx 2 hours at one side of garage to get water flow correct and left stating had other jobs to go to. When I phoned and spoke to the installation manager regarding guttering he stated nothing wrong with it,when I stated why was the chap at it for 2 hours if nothing wrong he got very rude,swearing,and said that they were not coming to finish the first house they started on. I didn't want any special treatment since I thought 2 houses was a big contract but no after job phone call or visit to ask if I was happy. Would I recommend this company,no chance”

“All the tradesmen were very competent and courteous. Delays were outside of Cairngorm's control, although communication with head office could have been better. Very pleased with the final construction and quality of the conservatory.”

“We are delighted with our new patio doors and window. Work was efficiently carried out and finished in a day apart from the step and sealing off which was completed within the next week. We have been so pleased with the workmen who carried out the job and what a difference it has made to our lounge, thank you so much. Several people have asked who did the work so we have recommended you to them.”

“I was not told prior to my door being installed that the surrounding wood be pine. All of the wood in my house is oak and I would never have agreed to this. I had the wood changed myself as I was told it would cost me another £300. The plastic surrounding the glass in the door cracks LOUDLY as it expands in the sun and later contracts. This almost continuous cracking both day and night is very annoying. Is there anything that can be done? I'm very interested in your reply as I'm at my wits end.”

“Although staff are helpfull when you go down to order windows/doors etc. There are a couple of things which are not very good. On at least three occasions I have been sent the invoice by email for windows/doors but had not been informed that they were ready to collect even though Cairngorm have my mobile number and e-Mail address. Also the back yard is a bit untidy and not easy to negotiate with a van as there are hazards everywhere. But as I have said staff are helpfull and your windows/doors etc are good.”
