HI Michael, Sorry about this delay. Frustratingly we have seen more delays than usual this festive season with all carriers. These delays have bled into the new year somewhat and seems an industrywide issue at this time. Although the vast majority of our shipments have arrived on time. In some cases we have seen items we sent in December only just begin to arrive. Absolutely awful don't buy from them. I ordered a makita reciprocating saw and paid for next business day delivery as it was urgently needed for one of my jobs. I received an email saying it has been delivered however there is no sign of my parcel anywhere, I have tried contacting customer service by email several times and also by phone over 50 times and still no response. This is a very recent order if I don't hear from them I will be reporting them to trading standards. Please be very careful ordering from these people.

I bought a DeWalt leather tool belt from Buy a Parcel for an anniversary present. I'd love to say how wonderful it was, but it wasn't delivered! Evri, (formerly Hermes), just didn't bother! I spoke to someone at Buy a Parcel, who confirmed that Evry made absolutely no attempt to deliver, returning the parcel instead of coming to our door. This is not the first, or last time Evri/Hermes has refused to deliver a parcel to us. I had to wait a long time for a refund and what's more, I had to look for another gift, with very little time to do so. I will never tire of writing bad reviews when it comes to Hermes, or Evri, or whatever they want to call themselves, because they are the worst courier company in the world! If your business is reliant on this god awful company, you will go into liquidation very soon, having to pay out for delivery AND then having to refund your customers! STOP USING HERMES/EVRI!

Terrible service! Will not be using this company again. Needed these boots next day never turned up at all had to go through paypal to get a refund never had any communication what so ever if I could give you 0 I would! There was no customer service

HI Nichola, Sorry your experience wasn't a good one for you. We can explain most of this issue. Despite you paying for next day delivery, it seems our team made an error and shipped this on the slower free service. We can see this turned up a couple of days later than you would have expected and then the delivery was refused. We can't say they never turned up but it does appear due to the delivery being late you rejected this shipment, which is understandable. Apologies our team made this error with the shipping service. From there we don't seem to have any record of contact from yourself such as emails to let us know about this issue. There is no record at all that you contacted us. This would explain why you didn't get any communication from us. Your paypal case was then opened and approved for a refund. We hope this refund goes some way to making amends for this issue. Absolutely awful we choose the royal bath hotel In Bournemouth it was poor - rooms were so worn had to move three times and still bad. The buffet food for breakfast was either cold or dried out full of Greace and left without covers. Had to pay to use pool and car park £25 a night

We do our best to make the process as easy as possible by making these collection bookings as per customer request. It seems despite our booking, the carrier arrived the following day to collect instead. We can't say these delays with collection never happen, but they are rare and not usual. Once collected the following day, we can see return went smoothly from there and you have been refunded for your transit damaged order. Such as 5% off any order made over £100 and various other great offers put out throughout the year. Good company to deal with, leaf blower arrived quickly, but unfortunately was fit for purpose so had to return which was very easy, and would recommend buying from them.

My son ordered 3 room thermostats for me on 19/12/22 paid next day delivery, after speaking to them on phone, and told I would definitely get them the following day, if I paid extra.Money was taken out of my bank and guess what no thermostats have arrived, it’s now the 21/12/22 and I have had to send electrician away twice. Emailed and no reply Telephoned 41 times and guess what they are all busy. Ring from opening time all the way to closing time still busy. And I think the excuse will be blamed yet again on the delivery company. So why pay the extra.

We want to assure you this order was shipped the same day you ordered on a next day service. Sadly DHL let both you and us down here and didn't meet expectations. We are at a loss to explain your difficulty reaching us, as during the majority of our opening hours we have 4 people answering the phones. There are often periods of the day where no one is on any of the lines. We can only assume bad luck or you called outside our opening hours. We can see you paid a premium for next day delivery, as this clearly didn't happen we will arrange a refund of your delivery fee. If we can be of any other assistance, please do get in touch. Have tried to contact them to find out where my delivery is it is now over 2 weeks since I placed my order. The customer services do not answer phones or emails so would not recommend to use them with such poor customer services

Extremely poor service..... Bought an item that advertised as in stock with a delivery in 48 hours... to then be told that it wasn't instock, given an ETA of a week later which has now passed, no further ETA, requested to change my delivery address due Christmas closure at my place of work, not able to assist despite the issue being and their end. Their advice was to cancel the order.... not acceptable...

HI, Sorry your experience wasn't good. Occasionally our team go to prepare orders and find stock missing or damaged. This seems to be what happened with your order. Due to the nature of some online payments , we can only ship to the original delivery address requested by the customer, to ensure all necessary protections on the transaction are there for our customers and ourselves. Because you required shipping to an alternative address, our team would have suggested cancellation/refund and re-ordering as the best option we could provide. Stock issues like this would be an inconvenience, we are sincerely sorry for any caused. We endeavour to improve our systems all the time, to reduce incidents like this to an absolute minimum. Useless. You need to use a decent courier service rather than the incompetent DHL you use. Both orders made through buy a parcel have been hassle. 0/10. Tradesmen if your wanting your delivery quick avoid this company

Avoid this company. They use Evri (Hermes) and lose your parcel. Not interested when you enquire and request support. I will not use this company again

Hi, Apologies about the issues with your delivery. It appears you have been in touch and our team advised they would chase this delivery up for you Tuesday. Unfortunately despite chasing your delivery it appears the shipment is lost, as there is still no movement on the tracking. Due to this issue a refund will be arranged for your order today. Bought a faulty item. Mixer shower stopped working within weeks as handle spun but nothing happened as it didn't grip the valve to turn water on/off. Its because the part is plastic and it starts wearing down from the metal valve so no longer grips the valve. There was no way of removing the handle therefore had to break it to get to the valve to shut water off. When informed the company, they were insistent that it violates their warranty and did not want to hear any more. Very rude and unhelpful. Refused to give contact details of complaints and escalation procedure. Sent Consumer rights act letter of complaint. They ignored and insisted I do not contact them again. Refused to communicate further. This company has lots of complaints and a history of poor service and poor quality goods. Avoid at all costs!!

Hi, Sorry you are unhappy. Due to the physical damage you advised us you caused yourself, your warranty would have been void. We have run your case by management and been advised to issue you a refund a kindness. This has already been issued and should return to your payment method soon. There will be no need to return the product as warranty cannot be pursued on a product that is damaged by the user. Ordered and paid for next day delivery, sent a dispatch email, however it hadn't actually dispatched, no answer from customer services for days and then a shrug of the shoulders and a refund for the additional I had paid for next day delivery, which is the very least that could have been done. Multiple emails chasing for an update with no reply until today.... Had I realised they would not actually ship on time I would have ordered elsewhere at a lower price.
