“Didn’t offer much addition apart from pouring the odd drink and taking some photos. Didn’t play any games. Disappointed overall. Definitely not worth the money”

Dear Customer, We are sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with the service on this occasion. We were very surprised because the butler in question is a very experienced butler, working many jobs for us before. He was even rated the 2nd top butler in our company last year based on reviews. We spoke to him and he said he was only asked by the organiser to serve drinks and to take pictures (games were only mentioned 15 minutes towards the end). He said it was also difficult to do games because of the environment, the guests were in the pool and it was very loud and echoey. Once again we apologise the event didn't go as expected. We will closely monitor his performance and ensure he is a bit more proactive with the games going forwards and he will receive some further training. Kind Regards, Butler Bookings Team

“We had a butler during the afternoon of my sisters hen. We’d ordered in afternoon tea and the butler helped serve drinks and played games. Laz was really engaging and friendly and read the room really well to identify the level of activity people were comfortable with.”

“We booked a life drawing session for a hen do, Tye aka Apollo was our butler for the day. He was amazing, we had such a fun experience with him. Would definitely recommend.”

“Tristan was absolutely brilliant and we had a fantastic time! The 2 hours went by too fast! He text in the morning to confirm plans and followed instructions to call when arriving so the bride did not catch on to the plans. Will definitely recommend to others!”

“Easy and efficient to book with! Our butler - Terrell- was absolutely fantastic! Our party ranged in age from 24-92 and everyone was able to get involved and enjoy the evening. Before the event, Terrell communicated effectively to ensure he knew the type and age of the people involved in the event to ensure his audience was catered for appropriately: what the bride was like, if she was confident or not, what the vibe would be. Nothing was too much for Terrell: he played lots of different games with all of us including some that we had wanted to incorporate into the evening. Additionally, he was incredibly polite, respectful and lots of fun! We would definitely recommend him and use him for future hen dos!”

“Las was fantastic for our hen do. He made us feel really welcome, comfortable and made the hen do so much more exciting! We played some great games and he made sure the party were well topped up with drinks! Definitely the hens favourite part of the hen do!”

“As a hen party we had to bring the vibes and games as the butler did not come prepared with activities. He felt awkward and uncomfortable and did not use his initiative to play games or serve food/drinks. Plus he made some of the hens feel uncomfortable with comments about their bodies.”

We were surprised by your review as it's the first negative feedback we've received regarding the specific butler involved. Typically, he garners positive responses. However, we take all customer feedback seriously. After discussing with him, he expressed feeling that some comments were unjust as he made efforts to host the pre-planned activities and ensure everyone had an enjoyable time. He believed everyone was satisfied. Regarding remarks made about guests' bodies, we completely agree that such comments are unacceptable. Rest assured, steps will be taken to prevent such occurrences in the future. Further training will be provided to the butler to enhance his initiative in serving food and drinks, as well as in hosting activities. We'll closely monitor his performance to prevent reoccurrences of these issues.
