In October 2021, I ordered two Grohe taps. 2 days later, only 1 arrived. I chased and chased, and finally they blamed it on their supplier by saying, "will get back to you asap once the supplier come up with the estimated delivery time of missing item". Their invoice said 1-2 days, and it finally arrived 13 days later, and I had to pay my contractor to come back to fit the last tap. What a rubbish company. And then, I stupidly decided to try them again in May 2022. I ordered a radiator, delivery was promised 1-2 days, but 9 days later, still NOT ARRIVED!! And again, they said, "I will chase my supplier and come back to you as soon as possible." Then, nothing, no more communication. Why have I not learnt my lesson? And again, my contractor is waiting around for the radiator to arrive. NEVER, NEVER USE THIS RUBBISH COMPANY AGAIN!!! Items don't arrive as promised. I even gave it a 7-day buffer! Like the other customers have said earlier, BSO is an awful supplier to deal with, and the customer service is impotent, ineffectual, and all they do is blame someone else. I think they copy and paste the same excuse to all their customers. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID or you will suffer greatly at the hands of BSO who obviously does not give a damn about their customers. If there was a negative star rating, I would have given them a negative 5.

Honestly, just a terrible company. Allow you to place an order then wait a week to tell you it's out of stock and they will be cancelling it. Reordered a different product, was given a delivery date and no further communication. I emailed asking them to confirm 2 days before their stated delivery date and was told there were delays, no updated timeline as to when i would receive the product, no apologies, no call, nothing. If I hadn't reached out to them before my delivery date I'm sure they wouldn't have bothered to reach out to me. Emails go unanswered and phone lines are closed (wonder why..). Terrible customer service, terrible experience. Avoid.

Dreadful company. Customer services (phone) not based in UK so can’t answer questions. Emails not answered. Total waste of time and money. Don’t expect a refund.

DO NOT USE As others have said unscrupulous, dishonest. I ordered and paid for an Ideal Standard basin and semi pedestal, the Ideal item code was correct for both the basin & the pedestal on the delivery note (which in fact came from another company,Ideal Bathrooms of Milton Keynes so they are only "brass plating") they both looked correct I couldn't fit for a couple of weeks until my tiler had finished. when I did fit I found that the wrong pedestal had been sent in that it was too deep to fit into the base of the basin. I tried to ring them a few times to no avail, finally getting through last Friday whereupon I was put on hold for 10 minutes then cut off, on ringing them back the answerphone was on, considering they advertise open 24/7 the lines close at 5.00 pm I then filled in their mail request (no e-mail address available) to which I had a reply and after 3 times going back and forth, they are refusing to take any responsibility for dispatching the wrong item to me and will not swap it over giving the excuse "because I have fitted it" I have advised them that as the item codes were correct there was no way of knowing it was the wrong pedestal they sent but still they will not move even though they have not fulfilled the contract and not sent what I had ordered. They are totally dishonest DO NOT USE

Avoid this company. Ordered a new pair of barn garage doors, which arrived 10 days late and damaged. Called the company to ask what can be done. The doors needed to be fitted for a client as the whole project was held up waiting for these doors (we received no communication or explanation for the delay). I asked if we can fit them and receive a partial refund for the damage as they would not be able to get a replacement out in time and was told to email photos to process the partial refund. After submitting the photos in an email, I then had to chase a response a week later and was told they have refused to honour this refund stating I didn’t follow their T&Cs, despite only doing what I was being told to do. They accused me of lying and produced a recording of our call (I wasn’t made aware the calls were recorded). The recording confirmed what I was saying but they refused to accept it. I asked for this to be escalated to a complaint and what their complaints procedure was. They refused to provide this to me. I called again and was told to mark my email for the attention of the management team, which I did. I initially dealt with Karl and then someone called Nathan, who was not in management as I had requested. Both have been patronising, rude and unprofessional. They have provided template responses completely disregarding my particular issue. I deal with building merchants and suppliers on a daily basis and I have never encountered such a dreadful attitude from a company. Not only am I completely infuriated and frustrated, but I have a very unhappy client - who was present when my original call was made and was expecting a partial refund.

I ordered a Cistern on the 29th March 2021 which was installed on 6th April 2021. Within a month (on the 18th May) the Internal hinge in the Cistern broke. I sent nine emails to BSO asking for an update and the last six asking for an update were ignored. I also phoned BSO head Office fifteen times, (latest being today) and every time I was assured someone would call me back. Since I have not had a response from the company for over four weeks I will be requesting a refund. I will definitely not be making any future orders with BSO and would not want to do business with them.

The worst on line company I have ever dealt with and will never use again. Paid more than other supplier options as indicated shipping was earlier, delayed a week and then a further and then another... No communication from BSO each time, (on line chat is a joke) & only resolved by me contacting the excellent customer services at Marshalls who located stock and shipped. Marshalls 5 stars, BSO zero stars. So disorganised that BSO have emailed me today to say that the paving is being dispatched, days after receiving!

Not sure where to start with this Comany. I ordered a door in March we are now in May the 25th and still no door hangs in my lounge, they did send 2 doors but both were wrong and both the wrong colour, 75 emails later and still no refund this Company it is the worst I have had to deal with in my lifetime and I am no spring chicken. The last email which was but an hour ago and I quote what it said ( please have faith in us we are trying hard) to say I am angry would be an understatement. If you are reading these reviews PLEASE LOOK ELSWHERE FOR YOUR ITEM BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET IT FROM HERE. no customer service whatsoever just emails flying back and forth I am on 75 now and still have no item to show

Absolutely shocking service, I ordered doors they gave me a delivery date. 2 days before delivery they emailed to tell me they were out of stock and moved the date back 2 weeks, I tried everything to get on contact with them with no success what so ever. they never reply to any email you send, and their phone number is down DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Terrible company placed an order 5 weeks ago told it was going to be delivered on the 5/4/21 then it was on the 21/4/21 then told me it was going to be 28/4/21 then the noght before got an email saying very sorry but the item you ordered was out of stock then the next day i got my delivery rubbish customer services cannot make up there mind what was going on wouldnt give me the delivery company's name or there suppliers name never again

They’ve charged me for windows supply and never delivered. I’ve wasted £1600 and 3 weeks of my time to find out where these are. Didn’t helped still have no windows and no money back. One star is one too many. Avoid

I bought seven interior doors in March and one was faulty. E mailed the company and received a reply asking for and image. Which I sent. Then another E mail asking for the door size. That was 15th April, nothing heard since. Can't contact them by phone. Live chat is not fit for purpose. I'm now in the process of taking them to the small claims court and have also informed Trading Standards. Bunch of cowboys thinking they can rip people off and get away with it. I wish that I'd seen the reviews beforehand about their appauling customer service. Late delivery too. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!

Do not use this company. They do not deliver on their delivery promises and they do not refund any amounts paid for those services which they do not deliver. Appalling customer service.

Avoid using this company at all costs, they are completely incompetent and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Trading Standards should take a serious look at this company and their working practices. I wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering from this company. I am not alone in receiving the terrible service they provide. Never again. On their website they proudly state: Our customers are at the heart of our business and we continually strive to deliver excellent customer service and experience. This is not true there is no customer service!! They get back to you three or four days later and then it isn’t what you want to hear. Over 18 emails sent to this company chasing them! Unlike your local builders' merchant, we deliver nationwide. The advantage of using us is that you can pick your delivery day as opposed to it being delivered within a window. Certainly not in my experience!! It’s like throwing darts at a yearly calendar. Delivery: 5 - 7 Working Days more details They have incorrectly put days this should be weeks! If not months!!! They sub out their timber orders to Arnold Laver (at least they did with mine) who have a number of sites across the UK, if you go on their website the timber is cheaper as well. But again be warned the delivery service is pretty bad, as I ended up speaking to them directly on day 31 after placing my order with BSO. They also made promises of the timber is on the van, sorry the driver will exceed his tachograph allowance!!! We will drop off in the morning. Communication is key and all a customer wants is an update, what is happening and when it is arriving, not a complete blackout or shallow promises. To summarise: If you want a late delivery, no communication then use BSO. That, they will guarantee.

hey will not refund my money Took over a week to deliver, although told me next day delivery. Then sent me the wrong roof felt, which they have failed to pick up and they have not given me a refund. They are now ignoring all my requests. Shocking service, do not use.

The worst company I have ever used, they don't want to listen and do not care. The quality of doors from this company is terrible. If you want better quality doors go to B&Q, at least it won't cost you a lot of money. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Don't say I didn't want you

Shocking company promise delivery take your money then change delivery that is unsuitable as it is over 1 week later than required. Contacted company but delay tactics seems to be way forward and no refund has been given to date !!! Don’t deal with them !!!!!!!!
