I bought a piece of equipment which appeared to have a faulty 'On-switch'. I have tried calling several times but get told to email due to Coronavirus. I have emailed Building Supplies Direct twice several weeks apart but have still had no response. Very poor customer service!

I didn't receive one item (stapler).I made an order over 70£ to get a free postage which wasn't. I choose a normal delivery you gave me an express one. I sent message to be delivered next day ( beeing day of) the courier left the parcels (10 kilos each) to my neighbour ( probably to reduce the spread of Covid 19) Over all I'm disappointed of delivery part, even was faster than I expected.

Vice delivered damaged twice.... Did not pacakge any different the seond time. Also they don't provide refund once THEIR courier has collected the item. i.e. They still think its your responsibility to get the item back to them before a refund is provided even though the collection is arranged by them. Shame they could not package better.

Ordered items and paid for them, only to be told a couple of days later that they could not supply the goods. They did apologise and refunded me.

I ordered this garden gate latch online as it was advertised on the Building Supplies Direct website. Paid for it and after some time received email that sorry, but the item is not available and got refund. On the face of it sounds OK, but in fact I lost my time, involved moving my money on and back and have to start searching for the latch again! That is NOT a good custom! And simple sorry and just returned money is not sufficient!!! Very poor service.

I ordered an SIP Tig Welding Torch and was sent the wrong model. Due to timescale restrictions I had to adapt the item to fit my welding machine. I'm not convinced it was even an SIP item just one similar. SIP torches come with a gas connector fitted and it did not say SIP on the torch. This had no connector either. I did not ask for a refund or replacement as I had no choice but to get the welding done. It was also poorly packaged in nothing but a padded envelope. Given this item cost £82 you'd expect it to be boxed.

Not great when your website shows the item is in stock. You don't have it in stock and it is actually being dispatched directly from the supplier. Very disappointing!

cancelled my order instead of putting my order as backorder - for Clarke's 8in ducting for air mover . Very annoyed!! They should have rung me to discuss this!!!!!

item wasnt in stock and had to wait weeks for delivery. no communication to say product was unavailable until i chased up missing delivery.

Got my address mixed up for some reason although it had correct postcode. Should have arrived on Monday, still waiting I've tracked it down to Oakley Transport in Hereford!!!

Part of my delivery didn’t arrive. I’ve continually tried calling with no answer to the phones. The answer phone message recommends to email sales which I’ve done twice with no reply. They’ve taken the money but not delivered on the goods.

Terrible service. Never use them again. Awful. Not interested in helping resolve delivery problems. caused by themselves. Result...they have my money but I don't have my screws!
