Paid £7 for express delivery. Took 8 days to arrive. No email sent to confirm purchase. Poor communication from the company. Would definitely not use again

parcel has gone missing now i am expected to wait for outcome of investigation by carriers. mean while i have to purchase the stock i need to fit to jobs at a inflated price from retail outlets. What happened to customer service ?? Would be better to resend the order and sort out the return if the original ever arrives.

Avoid - they advertise products that they do not stock & can not obtain. Ordered 15 items - only 1 in stock so cancelled order.

Paid for express delivery and received item twice the given time estimated on website. Tried emailing directly and have been ignored after the first contact. Second delivery was received alot quicker on standard delivery.

I could not purchase an item without opening an account, I had to pay premium price for "express deliver, 2-3 days" as there was no alternative. I waited for the delivery but it didn't come. I was given a tracking number but it was not recognized on the website. I made two attempts to inquire on the chat line, but there was no response. I emailed sales and was told that delivery was entirely my responsibility. and was referred to the website of the delivery company. I had to open an account with them to track the item. When it arrived 8 days after the order it was deposited on the pavement outside my house strapped to a pallet. I had to move it because it obstructed the pavement, and injured my back. I am 81. I applied for a partial refund as I had not received express delivery. This was refused. Communications were unfriendly and unhelpful. There was no telephone number. Inconsiderate, seriously bad.

Send me less than what I ordered. I have to remind them to refund me, and the refund it’s not the right amount! Been a week of conversation between us and still haven’t got the right refund. Never gonna order from this company again.

The item I ordered weren't in stock and was no longer stocked and im still awaiting a refund a week later safe to say im very unhappy

Hi, although site shows various card payment methods reviews seem to suggest the problem I have not excepting Master Card and suggest you pay by BACS. Cheers R Edwards PS a person who wants buy from them but they won’t except Master Card.

Customer service was very poor as you cannot speak to anyone by phone and sometimes it took over a day before e-mails were answered. As a result of the slow response I was not able to cancel my order before it was shipped. Then I have been charged the shipping cost even though it was company's fault that I could not cancel the order in time

I haven’t had anything delivered yet the 3 to 5 days advertised doesn’t happen they wait till you pay for stuff and then two days later tell you it’s not in stock so you have to wait

I will not do business with this company again. They do not hold the items they advertise on their website in stock and will take an order and payment for items they can not provide. They then send an email stating that there 'has been an error' and they will refund. In my case I ordered a scroll saw and two sets of compatible blades. I received an email from 'Andrew' saying that there had been an error re the scroll saw and would refund but that the rest of my order would be sent to me. I then had hassle emailing to and thro to cancel the order for the compatible blades and get a refund for them. To make matters worse I then ordered and paid for a different scroll saw + compatible blades from Power Tools Direct and I received an identical email from 'Andrew' saying there 'has been an error' and the scroll saw was not available but that the rest of the order would be sent out shortly ..... Building Supplies Direct & Power Tools Direct are the same company! I then went through the same process again in order to get a full refund. I have now ordered from a different company and although more expensive they do in fact hold the items they advertise on their website in stock.
