“My order did not arrive, I tried to contact by email and received no response and yet the payment has been taken. Somehow received 2 requests for a review for a product I have not received. Not happy with this service”

“I ordered a sheet of "Hardwood Plywood | B/BB Grade WBP Exterior Plywood (18mm)" with description including "The boards are extremely resistant to wear and any moisture damage due to their WBP Grading". What I was shipped was EN341-2 Class 1 plywood for interior use only. WPB would require a Class 3 product. Customer service were responsive but unable to ship a replacement board with Class 3 specification.”

“A disastrous result following the delivery of one offcut from a whole sheet of plywood which was ordered with specific measurements supplied to cut two square panels with two offcuts in total. Only one piece of plywood arrived and it is the offcut, amazing! Neither Builders Market Place nor the courier Tuffnells were able to give us a time nor day when it was arriving, only by the end of the week!!!!!! So no surprise we missed the delivery even though we were both here! I have raised the issue with customer services and after several days am now waiting for the issue to be solved by a partial refund or supply the missing panels. What a fiasco!”

“The staff that had part of the order but said that would put in other timber in as a replacement then there changed their minds so in ended up part order. Hat to go to other supplier to for the other part of the timber”

“Placed an order and when is was about to be shipped I realised that I had not ordered enough so I rang and they held the order until i I added more to it, great. Then the next morning I had a call and was told they had nothing in Stock. What a waste of time! But I was refunded quickly. STOCK CHECK NEEDED!!”

“No idea what the product is like as it has not arrived. The information I get is poor / misleading. Call backs don’t happen. If you have loads of time to waste in your life this could be the company for you.”

“Delivered marine ply was 4mm out on advised cut size unable to use, when I called them they asked for photo evidence which when I was on a deadline to finish a project that was the last thing I was going to spend time doing sourced elsewhere. Will never be using them again. Thank you”

“I placed my order with you for 9 lengths of 3.6 metre 2 x 6 timber you took payment processed my order told me you were going to deliver and then phoned to say the timber was out of stock then tried to get me to have 7 x 4.8 metre lengths- so now waiting for 3.6 metre lengths to come back in stock”

“Order of 1 sheet of Phenolic ply took almost a week to arrive. Board was badly damaged and just dumped at the front door, no-one rang the door bell but that is hardly surprising considering the damage. I had no choice but to use it as I was travelling away for work and had no time to wait for a replacement. Extremely disappointed.”

“Terrible experience, received a wheelie bin with broken lid..missing a hinge . i sent photos. After numerous emails received a partial refund. When asked was told even though it looked like an elephant sat on it ,it had been delivered!!! Unbelievable. Stay clear because if something goes wrong they will not refund you properly.”

“Delivered to empty building and left there for days without notification despite our constantly chasing for update on delivery! We had to spend time and money going to property to pick up and have asked for a refund for the additional diesel. Have not even received a reply.”
