BreakerLink is a Free Car Parts Finder service formed in 2002 to assist public and trade customers to locate new and recycled car parts for any vehicle. BreakerLink is linked to 100s of independent part suppliers across the UK and Ireland.

Enter your request, compare quotes and then purchase from the independent supplier with delivery available to your door. Suppliers provide a majority of parts with a 1 month guarantee and some often longer.

Needs to check the suppliers before agreeing to let them on there. I rather stupidly assumed that the high rating was because you did. I have been royally ripped off by one of them. Shame really as the idea was very good, but it's your name on the site and I would never have dealt with them had you not sent the details over. Thanks for nothing.

The star rating against each breaker however is actually generated by our customers having good or bad experiences with them so if the breaker you purchased the item from had a high rating it shows a lot of customers are having a good buying experience with them. Do not BUY anything from A-Z Car clinic on the BreakerLink website. They took my money, and after a week when I chased them they said it was on its way, 3 weeks later and still nothing and no replies. You then check BreakerLink small print and it says they wont do anything as the sale was between me and the A-Z car clinic. So i have lost my money

Moparts lied about what they were supplying said on the friday it was on a pallet just waiting for delivery phoned on the monday for tracking number then told just tested engine and down on compression! Then tried to supply bare engine at additional cost to me still waiting for the refund to clear

Today is the day after I placed my order and already I am being harassed to make a review on a part that I have yet to receive which is expected to be delivered by Tuesday of next week as agreed with the seller. Breaker Link should stop worrying about their own reputation so much and concentrate on what they should be doing, finding parts for customers at competitive prices, as this kind of harassment is not a good business practice, it is only when I get the part will I know how good the part is and if the seller is any good for future use.

EVOLVO ANSWERED MY QUERY WITH A VERY GOOD QUOTE WHICH I ACCEPTED AND PAID FOR ON THE 13TH jANUARY 16, I WAS THEN TOLD THAT MYPARTS HAD BEEN DESPATCHED & I SHOULD EXPECT THEM IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. WHEN I ASKED AFTER 4 DAYS WHERE THEY WERE I WAS TOLD THAT THE COURIER HAD LOST THEM. I IMMEDIATLY I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK THIS WAS DONE ON THE 19TH jAN, ONLY TO BE RETURNED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION Oi HE SAME DATE.}HAVE SINCE CANCELLD THE PURCHASE FROM EVOLVO PPARTS & AM PRESENTLY AWAITING QUOTES FROM A BETTER OGANISED BREAKER

Ordered a part from A-z Paid over the phone never received part given all kinds of excuses (not of the car yet, you will get the part Saturday/Monday then finally that parcel force have lost the parcel still waiting for money to be returned.bet I don't get it.

Do not become a supplier! Lucy who owns the company has some serious customer service issues. She wails like a hormonal banshee down the phone and doesn't care about customers. Pay to use the site follow the rules and still get hassle. Worst site used ever. Do not recommend. Promises the world delivers nothing. They have deleted my other reviews on Facebook so I wouldn't trust any feedback percentages as they delete what the don't like.

WE ORDERED AN AUTO GEARBOX FROM DONCASTER AUTOS. IT WAS NEARLY 2 WEEKS AND WE STILL HAD NOT SEEN IT. I RANG AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE WITH US FRIDAY. I PHONED AGAIN IN THE AFTERNOON FRIDAY AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE GOING TO RING ME AT 3 WHEN THEY TOOK THE GEARBOX OUT IT WAS FAULTY. WE WERE NOT HAPPY.

Very bad service, over a week to arrive, 5 phone calls, still have not got item. would not use again. part 2 Parcel force had only part address could not deliver, I had to phone parcel force to be told they would redeliver next day , I choose to pick up from local post office. over all it took well over a week to arrive. Sent wrong wheel for car, had to wait 5 days and then rang up to find out that they could not find one, I went straight on internet and found one cheaper. Now waiting for my refund.

I haven't got a direct issue with BreakerLink, however, if the service is to provide customers with a product then that service is only as good as its member suppliers. In the case of "Car & Van Parts Direct", I have never experienced worse customer service in 50+ years. My card was charged and delivery due on 14/10/15. However, I had to make 12 phone calls over the next 7 days during which I was repeatedly lied to as to the status of my delivery. On 3 separate occasions the delivery I was promised failed to materialise and numerous promises to check details & call me back never happened either - it was always down to me to contact them. I requested details of their courier, as per the BreakerLink complaints procedure but this was declined. I requested the number of their Sales Manager - again declined. However, my 4th call on 21/10 was (I believe) answered by the Sales Manager who proceeded to suggest that the 3 previous deliveries had been made and that there was nobody in the property despite no card being left and the fact that there had been someone in the property for the whole day on two of those occasions. I have no doubt that there had been no attempt at all to make my delivery. I had made it clear to everyone I spoke to that the item (wiper motor) was needed by 21/10 as the vehicle was booked in for the work to be completed (7 days should have been plenty) and that the vehicle is required to transport a 7 week old baby. They did not seem to care how dangerous that is without working windscreen wipers. When I suggested, in the circumstances, they may want to offer a gesture of good will and courier the part directly to me I was told I could "drive to Glasgow & pick it up" if I wanted. As it was clear that "Car & Van Parts Direct" are not interested in customer service, or even making deliveries when arranged, I could not see any alternative to a full refund and to begin the whole process again from scratch. DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH CAR & VAN PARTS DIRECT UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE HOW LONG IT TAKES TO ARRIVE, IF AT ALL.

The parts were described as "in good condition", when they eventually arrived, after almost a week, I found the parts had been "butchered". Fortunately, with the help of my local garage, and by recovering components from my original parts I was able to make the parts servicable. In my opinion parts described as in "good condition" should be in a condition whereby they can be ftted to the vehicle without undue attention. Caveat Emptor.

Nothing but stress and hassle, Bawtry Motor Spares is the company to watch out for they grind off part numbers (very dodgy). Gearbox was not as described had to take legal action to get refunded, but I'm still out of pocket cause I had to organise and pay for the return which I never got back. NEVER AGAIN AVOID.

ordered a crankshaft pulley wheel via this site from a company called A1 MOTOR GROUP UNIT 4 PELHAM ST BOLTON,they sent wrong part ,they said they would replace and after numerous txts to them all i got was' it will be sent' numerous times!!. i asked for a tracking number which they would NOT supply for the simple reason they didnt have the part to send!!!! after 6 weeks i ordered the part from a reputable company it arrived within 2 days ,half the price!!!! when i demanded a refund of £65 plus a staggering £30 postage fee, they replied with, and i quote, return the part to us (at my cost ) and we will refund, i said refund first and i will send part! they said no you send part first and then we will refund?? well what would you do??? to complain to breakerlink will cost me a staggering £1 50 per minute!! they dont take emails!! would i use these people again?????????? its a joke!!

I believe this company are doing a brilliant job at providing their customers with spare automotive parts and accessories . However with my experience i have lost out on money due to a breaker yard not refunding me money when the wrong part was sent down. I understand that breaker link cannot be responsible for the companies they have affiliated with them however this is NO excuse for the horrible service i was given by Lucy. She was very rude, unhelpful and in no way willing to provide me with assistance with me problem regardless of the fact i was polite from the offset. I wouldn't say avoid breaker link HOWEVER at all cost AVOID MWS Bolton and LUCY. I must also apologise for the one star and very slightly bringing your rating down but i want this to be read.

i ordered a alternator off bbc spares it arrived after 5 days i then fitted it to my car and found that it didn't work . so i've wasted my time and £60.00 of my hard earnt money .

First the wrong part arrives.;Sent back,but they say didn't receive it---£55 out of pocket.!! Next the right part arrives.;£290...doesn.t work.. Oh they say,it must 'cos its reconditioned....A sealed unit??..and non functioning..'We will sent out another'..didn' t arrive........my advice;- BEWARE!!
