no delivery yet and it was placed on the 6th of February, do not answer their phones, message says they are now closed and gives opening times, even though they are never open at that time. Do not answer any of the emails that are send tothem, all in all a very bad service and i will not use them again and advise anyone reading this not to do so either.

Utterly disgusting. The delivery was fine but the cakes were appalling. Look like they have been made by a nursery class and just put in a cheap clear plastic carton- nothing at all resembling the website pictures or description. And as for the cheap blue candle casually thrown in with pink cakes??? Do yourself a favour and use another company.

Absolutely shocking – please do not use this company…AVOID!!! Read all the reviews and I was impressed so ordered a box 9 cup cakes for my mother in law for her birthday. Pictures looked fabulous. Delivery, I did pay a bit extra for to ensure they were delivered before 12pm and I also included a gift card. Day of arrival, everything went well, and parcel arrived in due time. Could not wait for her to open as she adores cakes. A few hours later I was totally shocked to find out what she had received! OMG a 2-year-old could have decorated better and that is being exceedingly kind! The 2 boxes looked a shambles, totally unprofessional and an absolute disgrace! Had to hang my head in shame!! My mother in law is always impressed by my gifts so utterly disappointed and so so so embarrassed you would not believe! She broken heartily sent me a message and complained and I wanted to die as she has never done before but so glad, she bought to my attention! But just look at these pictures and they cost £40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She tried to eat one, brave lady and surprised she did not die! Disgusting, totally inedible so the 2 boxes headed straight to the bin!!! I contacted customer service to complain. 48 hours James contacted me…. offered a replacement, no way on hells earth going to repeat that experience or I got offered a full refund and he did apologise for inconvenience. Accepted the full refund but here I am 2 weeks later, many emails sent, no refund received despite chasing or not received any responses to my emails. Bunch of jokers! James has been as helpful as a lead balloon and that is a compliment! He is a company disgrace!!! Never realised when booking the cakes that they are sent from their base in Scotland and they deliver over the UK!!!! If I had been aware of this when placing my order, considering my delivery was on the South Coast, I would never have ordered as how could the cakes EVER be fresh! No wonder they looked such a terrible mess. Disgraceful! The cakes were also a gift, a card was included by the company, yet an invoice was included in the delivery so my mother in law knew what we had paid for this atrocious revolting shocking box of cakes!!! Unacceptable!! Do yourself a favour, in our current times, all local high streets need our support, so order from a LOCAL supplier and not some terrible Mikey Mouse organisation from Scotland delivering cakes made by 2-year olds. The local bakers will appreciate your business unlike these muppets who will embarrass and disgrace you by sending out total rubbish and upsetting your loved one who you are trying to impress. My recommendation…. AVOID!!!!!!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Awful customer service. Goods still have not arrived 2 weeks after scheduled delivery date. Have contacted customer services several times requesting a refund for failed services, but no responses. Ruined a 21st birthday surprise. Do not use, waste of money.

Absolutely appalling. I ordered a box of Belgian Chocolate cupcakes to be sent to my son who we couldn’t visit because of lockdown. He sent a photo of what he received. They bore no resemblance to the elegant cakes advertised. In fact my grandchildren could have made better. I have sent two complaints with photos but no response. I am going to write to trading standards because this company are a con. DO NOT USE!

Appalling. The pictures on their website do not correspond in anyway to what you receive. This company is a con. I know it’s lockdown but am still awaiting a response to my complaint. I posted a photo of what my son received as his birthday cake against the photo from their website - no comparison whatsoever. I have resent my complaint again - if I get no response this week I will inform trading standards.

Do not use! Unfortunately I never checked the reviews before using this company, but will not use again. 2 weeks to deliver, wrong cakes delivered, and when I emailed to complain, they basically called me a liar. They never replied to my 2nd email, have given up now, but be warned and go elsewhere.

Awful customer service. Parcel never arrived, took 2 weeks for them to agree to a refund as for the first week they kept telling me to tell the recipient to ask around all the neighbours houses. Absolute joke, even though we did that they still wouldn’t even offer to redeliver. Two weeks of constantly hassling them and ringing from abroad and finally got my money refunded, I probably spent more money trying to call them and get through to someone! Totally ruined birthday surprise. Do not order at any cost seriously!!!!! I should have known they were dodgy when they operate so many different website names (sendthemcupcakes.com and sendthemballoons.com) and they have diff prices for the same products!

Totally agree with ‘Anonymous’ below. They sent stale products and refuse to refund - only offering a credit which we don’t want as we won’t order from them as their customer service is so appalling.

I would never again use this company or any of the companies underneath their umbrella. They are useless, their customer service is terrible and I would avoid like the plague. I would also try to make sure no one else uses them so they don't fall victim to the same terrible service and lose their money too.

I had ordered a cake for a friend's birthday to be delivered to him directly. But it was never delivered to him at all. Thereafter, it took 2 weeks for bradford bakers to figure what went wrong and why was the cake not delivered. Apparently they delivered the cake at some wrong address and my friend celebrated his birthday without any cake.

I spent £75.00 with Bradfords Bakers on a hamper at Christmas. Two of the cakes were damaged. I complained to Bradfords just before Christmas receiving an acknowledgement claiming a detailed response within 24 hours. Unfortunately it did not specify which 24 hours. During the last 6 weeks I have complained twice again with the same response and still no answer. I shall ask the credit card company to pursue. I would only recommend people not to use this company. I have never experienced such treatment from what they jokingly call their customer services.
