I printed two books with Bob Books. The print quality is very high and the tool is intuitive to use. The delivery time is not short, however, which should have been a warning sign. I then used them to print an expensive wall hanging. Two months later it still has not arrived. They keep saying they are chasing it, but lets be honest if it hasn't arrived by now it won't arrive. They keep saying they are chasing the delivery company and have offered a 40% refund but I am very unlikely to use them again. My advice is to only print relatively low-priced and small items if you plan to use them. This is a shame because the print quality is very high.

One of the two books I ordered had the wrong contents and included someone else's holiday photographs! This is a major error and should not happen. The books are also very expensive and not value for money.

I understand you have already been in touch with us in regards to the error with your order and a re-print has already been issued. I do apologise for the mistake made in regards to this order, it is a very rare problem and should not have happened. As it was a bookshop order your order was not automatically refunded as it should have been, this has now been applied and you should receive the funds back in your account in a few days. Horribele! Worse ever! Never again! They post 10 books with a value over 1000 euros without a tracking number.They send it 18th sept and on 9 october it still isn't in the Netherlands. I will never work with them again and feel very sad about their absolutely poor process and payment service.

Hello Brenda, I am so sorry for the problems you have experienced placing your order. I understand that the initial issues you had placing your order was due to your international payment being declined. Our head office were able to help you place the order using a BAC transfer and the order was processed as quickly as possible. However as it was an international order, the turnaround time would be outside our usual UK period of 7-12 working days. Whilst we are unable to confirm a delivery date we have re-printed the order of you and sent this out again tracked. I apologise for any inconvenience and frustration caused. Kind regards, Bob Books

Shocking customer service and poor quality control - I won't be using them again (after having used BobBooks for a few years and recommended them to lots of people). I ordered a photobook that had 2 significant faults that weren't on the original photos (one of which on the back cover they said was due to a poor quality original, despite the fact it appeared OK elsewhere inthe book). I contacted them and said that the book was needed for a leaving present last thursday. They promised an urgent priority replacement - I'm still waiting and it's too late now as the recipient has moved away. Apparently after contacting them today, they would never have been able to send out the replacement in time, but chose not to mention that! Had they done so I would have returned the book, requested a refund and bought something else. They are generally much more expensive than similar products - I was happy to pay a premium in the past, but this experience has shown that the quality and customer service doesn't justify the extra cost.

Hello Dawn, I am writing from the Bob Books head office. Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback, I am so sorry you were not satisfied with your photobook. I have been reviewing your correspondence with our Customer Service team and it looks like you were not happy with the image quality of some of your images, due to production errors and low resolution imagery used. You were offered a refund or re-print of your book but it seems it was to made clear to you that the turn-around time for re-prints is the same as that for the original book produced, meaning you would not receive it in time to replace the gift. I am so sorry that this was not made expressly clear to you so you could be better informed on which option to choose. We also offered to send your reprint to your friend, but as she is travelling this was not an option. We have now refunded this order and I am glad we are able to resolve this to your satisfaction. Bob Books really let me down after reading some decent reviews. I tried to use their design service which was extremely slow, the minor amendments took about 4 days and they would make no attempt to speed it up even when I told them it was urgent. They don't seem to actually care whether you get your photobook on time or not. The customer service people are friendly but useless, not one of them passed on a message to the design team. The customer service number is also extremely expensive to call. I'm not normally one to complain but Bob Books seriously let me down, and I'd recommend anyone to use Snapfish or Photobox who are much for reliable.
