The last two orders that i have requested you say next day delivery. That is not happening,i would sooner be told that its going to take an extra day than waiting for delivery thats never coming that day what was promised. I would suggest use a delivery company that can do the job instead of making excuses.

It is always best to allow 2-3 days for deliveries to Inverness (as stated on our website) especially over a Bank Holiday weekend. On line the choice of delivery defaulted to a depot and not my home address. I was unable to find a way of changing this and goods were delivered to choice depot. I was not given an update on the delivery and found it my duty to chase up on where the goods where. Bells taxi was nearest depot and there is no parking at their office allowing convenient access to collect the goods.

All BES orders delivered by UPS receive an order confirmation email with a link to track your delivery. UPS select premises such as Bells Taxis for collection purposes which are out of the control of BES. We are sorry there is no parking and we will flag this up to UPS. Wrong parts arrived. Was supposed to be 2 x 8mm pipe tails, got 1 x 8mm & 1 x 10mm.

The order was complete with no items missing but it was not delivered on a next day service. When I phoned to ask why it hadn’t been on time I was told that it isn’t a guaranteed next day service even though that’s the impression you get from the web site. I find the misleading.

Goods failed to be delivered next day as stated, this seemed to be due to the carrier rather than late dispatch by BES. Nonetheless, it was my first order from BES and a poor expereience because I couldn't start job as inteneded. I shan't use again due to lack of confidence in delivery timescale.

Your despatch process was very slick & quick but the delivery wasn't. UPS's message was that the delivery would be made before the end of the day! Fine for a static business but I needed to be out and about but back for the delivery slot. So I set up a UPS account to get text updates but didn't get any - almost a week later I received the activation code needed! Not good at all. Whereas DPD (and others) email a one hour delivery slot which also allows me to see if the slot changes. This is a much easier and more direct system which provides instant no-fuss information. As it stands, your reputation is also tied to UPS' performance.

I telephoned in advance, to describe what I needed - A thermocouple to fit a Valor gas fire - I was recommended to fit a Universal Thermocouple - at around £3.00 approx. I decided it was worth £3 to see if it would fit. Then postage was added, then VAT - total bill nearer £10.00! Postage seemed very high for such a light weight item! I discovered why, when a huge parcel arrived - complete with an unwanted and unrequested catalogue - which is now in the recycling bin! None of the fittings were even close to what I needed and the Thermocouple itself was of the wrong profile and would not fit into the aperture. All in a all, a total waste of money - exacerbated by the postage costs for a thick catalogue I never even wanted!

Access to your Trade Counter on foot is not allowed, according to your signage. The faded hand-written note by the main door guides you round the building to the left; the footpath ends in a shrubbery. When the road (hidden behind more bushes) is taken, a further notice forbids pedestrain (sic) access. If this notice is defied, the Trade Counter door bears a notice declaring it a Fire Exit, and only to be opened in an emergency. An additional rather unfriendly notice forbids access to any toilet facilities for visitors. Rather unwelcoming on the whole. However, the staff I encountered were helpful and courteous.

To be fair I doubt the damage sustained to our two lengths of twin wall pipe was anything to do with BES however if the pipes had been packaged into boxes rather than just wrapped in bubble wrap perhaps the courier wouldn't have crushed them. Having said that when I rang to tell them the damage had occurred they didn't quibble it at all and sent out a replacement. I'm still left with the crushed item though which they said would be collected, but it hasn't.

The service was speedy but the item I ordered ( a pair of wellnut fittings for a new loo seat) were very flimsy, the small metal nut just came out when I tried to tighten the screws and are now useless. Also the size of the box was ridiculous. The actual item was so small that a small Jiffy bag would have done, and the postage charge would have been a lot less.

Good price on the item but I thought the postage was a quite expensive. When package arrived I found out why, included was a thick catalogue that bumped the weight up nicely. Interesting choice for an Internet order, catalogue looks great in my recycling bin.

Two of the three packages from BES arrived open. The tube package was completely open at both ends and the end of one of the tubes was damaged. The package containing my compression fittings was also badly squashed and torn in one place. Happily, apart from the piece of 15mm copper tube that was dented at the end all my order was in tact. I have taken photographs should you require them.

Needed ducting urgently. Paid extra for `diamond` delivery. Fitters phoned the following day asking for news on the delivery. Told that items had been signed for at 8:50 am by BRISS (no idea who that is)! Hot summery weather so fitters on site at 8:00 am and doors to house open so no issues with `nobody home`. Lots of gnashing of teeth and eventually another order sent to site. BES sales say it was a cock-up by the couriers. Now awaiting credit against our account. Sounds like another courier company is required?

The product was fine (2 Radiator bleed keys in a clockwork winding key style). However I did not ask for a catalogue and the postage charged for a pair of radiator bleed key was ridiculous and it all arrived in a large box when I just wanted the bleed keys. I repeat the actual bleed keys were exactly what I wanted just everything else was overkill and to be charged for your product advertising is beyond the pail.
