Good adverts but you can't deliver.with no reason to the customer. Shame really we could have done a lot of business together but not now.

The first call was answered very curtly, and put through to sales, who failed to understand the fitting I needed for a garden hose for use on an allotment. The hoses I bought were half and inch, but the three fittings I also bought were for a three quartersof an inch. The salesman told me it was not possible to change. I have ordered from a different firm, but spent £50 at BES, but never again, nor my colleagues. Rob Harrower

Ordered an outdoor tap kit and paid for next day delivery. When it didn’t come the next day, I called BES. The lady on the phone said, that’s because they are out of stock. When I asked about just refunding the next day delivery charge, she said this would not be possible. Poor communication, lady on the phone had clearly heard this before, sounded very fed up. Cancelled the full order yet I’ve still not been refunded.

Hi order number DDPP 100338204 despatch date 07/04/20 next day delivery That’s laughable this will be the third time I will have rang my was just a small order would I trust them with a big one I let you decide

Delivery was supposed to traceable. Git message at 7.30pm that the delivery address was incorrect, checked all documents this was not the case. The parcel was supposed to be deliver Wednesday, it was not dispatched until that day and it did not turn up!

Ordered gas pipe ,then received call staying it would be next month befor they. could supply or I could pay more for a different size, complete bollox,sooner go without than try them again

I am a gas engineer and ordered an item which was faulty, so i returned it. After almost a month still waiting for refund. Absolutely rubbish customer service.

Supposedly delivered on Friday but I've been checking for deliveries every day and it has not turned up. Presume it has been delivered to the wrong address as the delivery tracker says it has been delivered. I have checked with neighbours but they haven't received it, considering reordering from another supplier.

I still have not received my order which was despatched on 20/03/2020 and am unable to track it through UPS as they are not answering any calls or giving details on their website

Couldn't pay for my order because I was waiting to be contacted regarding international shipping costs. But this never happend so I am giving 1 star because there was no service to review!

I paid an increased delivery charge for Saturday delivery. My package arrived Tuesday thereafter. I understand in the current climate that delays can happen, but after asking for a refund on the delivery surcharge via your contact us page, I have been completely ignored for one whole week - unacceptable!

Dreadful business. Misleading sales pitch, tie you up into a 3 year contract with extortionate exit fees. Heavy handed, big business tactics, not at all flexible, the worst of the worst. Avoid at all cost. Never again.

Mr Harvey, We are very confused by your review. Given your comments we suspect you have muddled BES Utilities (Lancashire) with BES in Birmingham. We do NOT sell 3 year contracts with exit fees as we are not an energy provider but a merchant. Please note that these companies are completely separate organisations with similar names. We have checked our database and you do not appear as a customer of BES (Plumbing, heating and gas supplies) so we would appreciate it if you could remove your posted review as it's misleading for our customers. Hi. There were parts missing from the cistern. 1. Pin which held ball cock arm. 2.There was no overflow attachment for the overflow pipe. 3.Wrong handle lever arm (lever arm square hole to small for handle to fit into. I am no plumber,but if I did not have the old tank I was replacing I would have not been able to complete the job which would have left me in a fix. Obviously because of this I can only give negative feedback. I did not get in touch with company I just finished the job and left it at that. I would not use company again as it would be to risky to not have all the parts I would order and pay for.
