My order should have been delivered on Tuesday 7th April according to your invoice. I am still waiting.

Managed to help out with the recent 1 star review in the end with a refund on some of the items so isn't quite as bad but still wasn't overly impressed but at least has been resolved now.

Update to your previous review - further to your earlier correspondence please accept our sincere apologies. We can confirm that a full refund has been issued on the tube damaged in transit. We have also issued a credit for the chrome fittings. We understand you were unhappy with the chrome finish consistency which unfortunately can happen occasionally across a huge product portfolio such that BES keep. These items do not need to be returned. Apologies once again. BES

Was sent chrome fixings that didn't match colour at all looks bad and received bent copper and delivery was slightly late but appreciate the current situation with that, was refunded for the copper and fixings but will have to re order again from somewhere else such as jtm in order to get what I required for the job that I'm doing. Glad got resolved in the end but annoyed got sent it in the first place.

badly let down by ups - good comms from Bes but paid for pre 12 monday arrived 4pm weds pm after several phone calls and promises not fulfilled

Good products, excellent catalogue, competitive pricing, answered the phone quickly when called to query late delivery. Sadly let down by UPS delivery service who were only able to tell me ' it's on the van but you won't get it today' - This carrier needs to be dropped as it is hurting your business

I received the gas cabinet within two days, but unfortunately it was a broken one. I called your company and was told a new one would be delivered by ups and an invoice would be raised, but no charge on it. I have however received an invoice with a credit for the broken door instead and no replacement door!!

Our postage remains at ÂŁ4.95 regardless of weight. Plus all deliveries are FREE when spending more than ÂŁ50. re. packaging we note your feedback. Delivery was terrible. Sold as next day got my fitting 5 days later. To late for project had to find another way of Instaling fitting still to be collected as not needed anymore due to the delivery timescale.

We are sorry that your order for a single hexagon bush did not arrive in Scotland next day when ordered just prior to Christmas. As per our terms and conditions all deliveries to Scotland can take 2-3 days to arrive (sometimes quicker) Our service levels currently run at 99% and unfortunately due to the peak of Christmas your delivery took 5 days which is very uncommon. Many thanks for your message. We tried to call you but was unable to speak with you. As your order was placed on the Saturday the order does not leave us until Monday. We can see your goods were delivered on the Tuesday and your pre 10.30 carriage charge has being refunded as it was delivered at 11.05. Best wishes. BES.

Disappointed that of the 16 school rings ordered they differ in dimensions with 3 different sizes. I would have expected all to be the same.

I ordered two rubber washers 1" 1/4, and received 1x1"1/4 and another which was 1" 1/2. The effort to return this was more than it was worth.

Although the goods were sent out on time and that I had requested the goods be delivered to a neighbour this did not occur and I ended up having to get a redelivery. This cost me time and a lot of money. Highly unimpressed with UPS and suggest you use another more effective courier service!

I placed an order but wasn’t sent a notification that my order had been sent to my local pick up point. There were a few fittings missing. I rang to enquire and was told they weren’t in stock, I hadn’t been made aware of this earlier. Also, the leak detection fluid had spilt in the packaging so I now only have half a bottle of LDF. My experience in the pass has been good but this was disappointing.

Good product. Normally good delivery but not this time. Delivery company made a compleat mess of it. It cost me ÂŁ500 waiting for all my order to arrive. BES didn't seam to care much about that. Normally i would give BES a 5.

Thank you for your feedback. Our courier advises your order was split into two loads annoyingly. One was delivered on the 24th and the other 25th. Furthermore one of these deliveries arrived damaged which is why we delivered replacements on the 26th. Circumstances like this are thankfully very rare. Macdee High Level Cistern - P/N: 13663 Firstly let me say that this is a review more of the item than of BES, who delivered the item punctually and I found their website generally easy to use and prices very competitive. The mouldings comprising this cistern have a lot of flashing on them and require a certain amount of cleaning up, filing, etc. before assembly. The item description does not mention that a WC pan boss is already included, nor that a pull cord and handle are already included, resulting in me buying both of these items unnecessarily. The item description does not mention that you will be required to cut out the lid for the pull cord mechanism on a high level cistern. Additional tools may be requred for this that you may not have to hand on site (hacksaw, files, drills etc.) causing difficulties. The filler valve (side filling) aperture initially leaked water on installation, and required additional rubber washers and PTFE tape to stop this. Finally and most seriously, the siphon flange that seats on the bottom of the cistern and should seal with a rubber washer has a large flat cut-out of the flange under the bell of the siphon. I believe it is for this reason that I was unable to make the siphon seal properly and the cistern is leaking water from this connection. I have tried several times to re-fit this item but to no avail. I suspect I will have to fit an old siphon to get it to seal. I would definitely not recommend this product and would definitely not buy it again. You have been warned - AVOID AVOID AVOID

We have noted your comments ,however, please note the product description clearly states inlet valve, fulcrum lever, nylon pull cord and handle are included. Our buying team will follow up with Wirquin. It is unclear whether the points you raise are a one off or a fitting error.
