Poor delivery time, supposedly recently updated. Also unfair to the customer to offer services that you have not set up for operation yet I.e. return labels. I now find via your email another new system in place whereby I have never received credit for a return I made to you weeks ago. I also received notice from a us company that I guess collects your returns before shipping to the uk. that they had the return , but no credit has been issued. I could go on and on but will close by saying that this has been a very slow aggravating process. One I will not repeat.

Sent wrong shoes wrong size. Still don’t have mailing return label for original purchase. Ordered 2 more pair, promised a discount, still not seen either the discount or label. It also took 2 weeks for initial delivery, so assume the same this time. You need a new delivery method to US. Pleasant CS person, but still no shoes.

Hello Susan Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We recognise that we sent the wrong size in error. All of our orders are hand picked by our store teams and very occasionally we sometimes have a human error. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and as discussed we have refunded 10% of your second order, as well as processing a full refund for your first order and reimbursing you for the returns shipping costs. We have now set up a new US prepaid returns label service, exclusive to our US customers. This will make the process of US returns much cheaper and easier. In this instance, we will be reimbursing you for the returns shipping as we sent out the incorrect size by human error. All of our US orders are shipped by USPS which means that parcels are fully trackable and will arrive with your regular post. As we are a UK-based family-run business, all of the orders are shipped from the UK and international deliveries normally take 5-10 working days. These got lost and were 5 days . Nevertheless my sister loved the Clark's shoes so I had to give them to her 5 days after her birthday. Should have just gone straight to Clarks.

The shoes are great, but I ordered the wrong size. Returning them is impossible because the postage costs almost twice the cost of the shoes themselves. I will be very cautious in future orders.

I bought these Ara sandals believing that was what I was buying. The quality of these sandals compared with Ara sandals I have had in the past is poor. I am extremely disappointed. I kept them because I was off on holiday and needed new sandals. The soles are not as substantial. They are much narrower. The top strap velcro does not allow much increase in width as the ring and vertical strap are not then in the centre of the foot. This has never been the case with my previous Ara sandals. Maybe I did not read something I should have done. However, I shall impress on my friends who also wear Ara sandals to beware of your 'make'. These sandals are no way as substantial as the real thing.

Ara Shoes are known for their comfort, particularly with wider fitting shoes, and produce top quality shoes that fit really well. Ara Shoes also produce a sister brand of Ara Shoes called Jenny by Ara. Both brands use some of the same lasts which means they should feel identical in shape and fitting in a lot of cases. Ara Shoes have more premium materials and finishing than Jenny by Ara which means they also carry a slightly higher price, but this should not mean that Jenny sandals should be uncomfortable. Comfortable but heels have worn down very quickly, considering i have worn them a few times. The sole has an impression indicating the material is of poor quality. As they are moulded wouldn't be possible to have re-heeled. Poor for having these such a short time.

I had good service the last time I ordered from Begg in October 2018. This time, my order arrived in a timely fashion. However, my order was not accurate. My Clarks shoes were just what I wanted, but I was sent the incorrect wallet. My husband, being a loving man and a good sport, pretended to love the wallet (which was much bigger than what I was expecting) and immediately loaded his items into it. I didn't realize it was the wrong wallet until I went back to review my order a day later. Due to the fact that he'd already used the wallet and the expense of returning it, I feel stuck with the wrong wallet. I am sending photos to confirm that I ordered #1105 and received #1115. It'd be super cool if you just went ahead and sent me #1105. Otherwise, I will be purchasing another wallet here soon. I'll probably shy away from ordering from Begg again because of this inaccuracy. I live in the US, I paid with US dollars, purchase was shipped to the US, and I marked size 8. But when I received the foot wear they were size 9 US, not size 8. Think twice before buying outside the US, or end up with the same problem.

I had to return shoes as they didn't fit properly. It cost me €11 .00 for return postage . I await confirmation of return and refund 13 days later. Hopefully I will hear soon. Bernadette Lawlor.

I saw a pair of yellow ladies sandals in the sale ( June ) £64 enquired about a size 7 or 8 being available the lady assistant used the computer to check availability and said if I paid upfront they could be ordered and if not suitable a refund would be given.. Fine not an issue, I collected my sandals after receiving my text, same lady was in shop, she handed me my sandals in the sealed box, and dismissed me, I asked if I could try the sandals on to confirm that they fitted before leaving the shop, I did not get a very warm response but carried on, on putting my first sandal on she simply said they fit, your toe is not over and walked away.... Customer service very poor and I was left in no doubt that as far as she was concerned regardless of my opinion I was dismissed..

Only had Earth Spirit Sandals for 4 days when sewing on strap burst. Was on holiday! As I was coming home and then going away shortly thereafter, didn't have time to return shoes, so took the, to repairers to get sorted! Not Begg's fault they only sell them!

I returned them as size 8 too tight thought they were a wide fitting site but they weren’t wish they were because they looked nice quality

I used Begg Shoes to purchase suitable shoes for my mother who has bunions and requires wide fitting shoes. Unfortunately the trainers were too tight and the insole of the slippers we purchased started to tear away soon after purchase and I am waiting for a replacement. It was a bit disappointing given the price paid. Product descriptions could benefit from information on how much ‘give’ or stretchiness shoes have. Staff are friendly and easily contactable.

The shoes I ordered are Clark’s toddler first shoes and are beautiful. It was fast delivery and I am pleased with the shoes. The shoes in Clark’s were £26 but in my daughters size were out of stock. I found them on Begg shoes for £28. However when the shoes arrived they said £26 on the box. Is it standard to charge extra when sold online?

Did I get the right size? No confirmation of order, only an email saying "shoes". I flip between 2 sizes and ordered in UK size to have a shoe delivered in Euro. No way of checking if it was me or them. Went on holiday after ordering so outside the statutory return period. They would probably take them back but as I say I contributed to this situation - just a better confirmation system would be helpful. It just got worse! I cannot submit review unless I review shoe - even with an option not to! Just lost another star.

Hello Gary Thank you for your feedback, sorry to hear you didn't receive our order confirmation email or the shipment confirmation email. These are sent automatically to all customers who place an order, i suspect the mail could have gone to your junk folder? Bugatti shoes are made and sold in EU sizes only as they are a European brand, so this is what would have been purchased. As you didn't receive the email notifications I sympathize you couldn't check at the time. We have our settings set so a company review can be left without a product review, but i will check these now to ensure other customers do not get the same message and share your frustration. Hello Annette Thank you for your feedback on your Rieker shoes. We do all our photography in-house and provide accurate 360 images of the shoes. Unfortunately we can't guarantee the fit of a shoe as every foot fits differently, and returns are a necessary part of the online shoe business trade. Currently we don't have a cost efficient returns method from the US back to the UK, but this is something we are currently investigating. We have a lot of customers from the US and we're hopeful to have a new returns method in place soon for future orders. Kind regards, James

Hi I was very excited about receiving my trainers and they are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever had. However I was really disappointed with the way that they have worn. I have worn them over the last week at work indoors (I am a teacher) so they were ‘worn in’ ready for my honeymoon to New York next week but they look really scruffy. I am so disappointed 😢

Hello Joanne Thank you for your review on the ECCO Wayfly Gore-Tex trainers. ECCO are market leaders for comfort and I'm glad you've found the shoes to live up to this expectation. For the wear of the shoes they can last for years if treated correctly. We would recommend applying a Carbon Pro spray once a month that helps prevents cracking, stops colour leaking and extends the Gore-Tex lifetime of the shoe. I went into a store to buy boots , they were not in stock , so got them ordered and to be delivered , however I am still waiting , this was the 10 th Dec , they have been lost in the post , only thing which I thought was unfair was that they had to be paid for before dispatch

The shoes are fine but the delivery arrangement is dreadful. The first package was not delivered though the Amazon website recorded it as having been handed to the resident!! I complained to Amazon who then reordered another pair from you and asked them for clear info on date of delivery to make sure I was in. The tracking system said the package would be delivered on Saturday 22nd Dec but in fact was delivered on Thursday 20th Dec when we were out all day at a funeral. The delivery person left the package in our drive in full view of anyone passing by. Fortunately no one took it but that could easily have happened. So I would be reluctant to order again if Amazon are in charge of delivering.
