Bath Empire, now changed to Soak.... soon they will change their name again......Spent over£4,000 on refitting two bathrooms, found one cabinet badley damaged, they refused to replace stating it was outside their 14 report policy, their customer service is CRAP, they only want your money which was paid in full. Bad news for them I will take this further and we have over 5000-000 ditributors on our site. I put up about their bad service and told do not use them and pass it on. I love big fights in Court, I will see them soon, will never buy from this crap company again.

I ordered a bathroom suit that looked like it came with everything in the pretty picture but on arrival when I checked it there was no bath panel so I rang up to order a panel just to find they were going to charge me an extra £60 delivery on top so sent an email to the complaints department and they dropped the charges eventually. The panel turned up and it was completely the wrong one so sent it back and got the correct one. Got it fitted sealed all around it with sanitary grade silicon and within two weeks it started to blow up with water damage, not sure what I expected it's just cheep chipboard so complained again and haven't heard anything back. Never again will I buy anything from this company.

AVOID! Now renamed as "SOAK.COM",still AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I purchased a basin wall hung unit just over a year ago, it started crack on the side walls and drawers recently. I emailed them with pictures asking nicely for a replacement since it's under "10 year warranty", but I was rudely told that the cracks are caused by "water damage"... I drove me nuts as "It's a basin and its in contact with water everyday!!!" We use it just like everyone else... The conclusion is - "10 year warranty" is just a sales trick, it never existed. They're just interested in getting your money and run, just like they changed their name from BATH EMPIRE to SOAK.COM The truth is that they can run but they can't hide, so avoid buying anything from them as they will change their name again soon!

Ordered a basin / vanity unit and paid for next day delivery. The product was not delivered the next day, and the customer service team simply went to ground until it was eventually delivered ... Helpfully then emailing to say it had been delivered. Unfortunately it was damaged and needs returning, however the customer service team have once again proved uncontactable and a week has now passed.

My husband and I ordered a new shower and shower tray from Bath Empire, who are now called Soak. The shower tray arrived without the waste and waste grill, no problem called Bath Empire/Soak up and the missing part arrived over night, brilliant, could not fault the service and this is what I had experienced using Bath Empire previously. However, the plumber then fitted the new shower and there was a hairline crack in the plastic valve inside and water was gushing out inside the wall, I called Soak only to be told that 2 days previous the customer service had changed and now nothing is sent out overnight, they do not offer that service anymore. I offered to pay for Royal Mail Special Delivery but was told that was not a service they offered (I am pretty sure Royal Mail still do offer this service) and I would have to wait 6 days for the part to arrive. I asked for the make and part number so that I could buy the part from a plumbers merchant but apparently the product is made for Soak in China and parts cannot be bought for it. Day 6 is today, no parcel. My husband had received an email though, to tell us to clean the part, that would fix it. Oh cleaning fixes cracks does it! I called customer services, no part had been sent out, they said they did not know what the problem was and so sent the cleaning email out instead. No contacting us to ask for additional explanation, even after my original call had explained the water was gushing out of the faulty valve and being promised that the part was ordered and would be with me within 6 days. Needless to say I am fuming, we have a building control inspector coming out tomorrow and will now have to cancel or pay for the inspector to make an additional visit. I again offered to pay Soak for Royal Mail Special Delivery so that we could get it first thing tomorrow in time for the inspection and once again they do not offer this service! Apparently they have to take the part out of another shower and then pack it up and send it Royal Mail first class, that apparently means today is Wednesday and I will not receive it until next Tuesday, Royal Mail's first class service really must be going down hill! However, I was offered that I could pick it up from them as they have loads hanging around (oh I thought you had to take one out of a shower). So I could take the day off, drive 170 mile round trip! I asked if anyone would be prepared to take the parcel to the post office for me if I pay - oh no "That is not our procedure, if we offered that all our customers would want it"! So, here I am waiting to see if next week a part arrives! I was too scared to put the phone down without the order being placed, this was promised to me last week and so how can I believe that today is any different! I can't say the gentleman I spoke to was rude, he was getting frustrated with me for asking for good customer service, all I am asking for is a simple part to be put in the post for me and I will even pay, even though it should be free as the product is faulty! How can a company change it's name and then change it's customer service, for the worse!! Aren't changes supposed to be for the better! I have now checked Soak.com website and their delivery policy for orders under £399 clearly state: Standard Delivery £3.95, Next Day Delivery £4.99. I am happy to pay the £4.99, why can I not have my part! What a diabolical company. The "We don't offer that service" is clearly a blatant lie. What they mean is that service is only offered to people spending money on a new order, customers like ourselves who have already spent their money and just want a faulty product rectified can wait 2 weeks for the fault to be repaired. DO NOT TOUCH this company if you require customer service or a product in full working order! One Star is TOO MUCH, I can't put ZERO!

Purchased a High Quality? shower cubicle from Bath Empire in November 2015. After 6 months use, noticed doors were becoming more harder to close. Further investigation discovered that the bottom door roller bearings have become rusty and seized. Reported this to Bath Empire under the warranty terms with many emails. Said they have sent new rollers but not yet received! Finally spoke to someone on the telephone today but got the impression that they didn't give a s**t. was told more rollers will be on there way and they would not be liable for any costs involved in having the rollers replaced by a tradesman. Lets wait and see, but I bet the rollers do not turn up!

Bath Empire - now renamed 'Soak' - probably to lose the poor reviews. Massively disappointing - ordered a bath, they delivered the wrong one, after 2 weeks of being messed about they eventually promised to collect the wrong one and deliver the correct one. Delivery company arrived, just to collect the wrong one, no sign of the correct one. 2 further weeks with only replies to say they are looking into it and eventually promised to refund me, its now been 2 weeks I have been waiting for a refund - time for small claims . . . Please dont do it to yourself - all may be well if you get what you want but if something goes wrong and you need to contact their customer services you had better be patient.

I was very happy initially with the products that I received albeit I had to return the bath as it was faulty i.e. 1) the overflow was tarnished and 2) the baths internal measurements differed immensely to the outer rendering it "unfit for purpose" as I am quite tall. I then set about returning the item which was collected on the 20th April. Whilst I am on the matter. The person who collected it did not seem to have any regard to the fragility of the item as he dragged it through the car park at the back of my house to place it in his van! Prior to this I had spoken to the "Aftersales" team who I might add are clearly not Customer trained, do not seem to take the view that the customer is the core focus of the business and are in my opinion quite flippant. I advised the person that I spoke to that the bath was faulty and in any case was too small. I then asked whether I would be able to change the bath for a different bath and was advised that the company would only change it for a like for like bath. Sorry - what happened to the "no quibble guarantee"!! Am I on the same planet as you? The bath was faulty to start with and is also too small. I don't know about you but this in my view poses a problem. Irrespective of any fault it is my RIGHT under the Consumer Credit Act 2015 to demand a refund but clearly not with this company. My advice - DO NOT BY ANYTHING FROM them. After spending 20 minutes on the Aftersales call, they are still advising that they will have to check the bath before I get a refund. Does that sound like a "no quibble guarantee" to you? I rue the day that I decided to order albeit having said that the Sales team were very nice and friendly but I will not be recommending this company under any name be it Bath Empire" or "Soak" as it only seems to have gotten worse since their advertising campaign and they are clearly proving to be victims of their own success!!

Bought many items from bath empire for two bathrooms. Taps, waste plugs, shower screen, basins, shower and heated towel rails. Taps corroded, towel rails rusted, waste plugs corroded. Shower leaks. 3 years on and I feel like we need a new bathroom - it's awful. I would never ever buy from them again, I'd rather pay a little more and have products which last. Our hard luck :(

NEVER BUY FROM BATH EMPIRE - they've just sent me faulty stock, then refused to take this faulty heavy stock away and instead have asked me to dispose of it, and their customer service is practically non-existent! Every experience with them has been painful and appalling! They have just sent me a severely damaged bathroom vanity unit (which was chipped on 3 corners and the drawer runners weren't even screwed in on one side so the draw wouldn't sit in the unit and just fell to the floor). I called and spoke to Marina and Paul to log this complaint on Wednesday and Friday and emailed pictures of faulty item. Customer service didn't process the replacement/collection as I'd requested so I took a day off to wait in for a replacement that didn't turn up. Customer service now refuse to take back their (very heavy) faulty stock and have asked me to dispose of it, which I cannot do as I cannot carry it and don't have a car to take it to the tip! I now have to take another (unpaid) day off work to wait in again for a replacement unit, the quality of which I have no faith in, and work out how to dispose of the huge broken 800mm sink and vanity unit!

I bought several products from bath empire and I am very pleased with the service and quality of the goods I purchased . The way that the products where delivered was secure and well protected. The delivery was quick and free . The walnut cabinets are amazing value and look very classy in my bathroom. I also purchased a toilet a sink and tap and they where also first class . I did have one small problem which I emailed bath empire and I received an immediate response from vicky at customer service who resolved my problem straight away . It is not very often we can say that we get excellent service however with this company I can honestly say I have . I would recommend bath empire for value and service . BARBARA SHANLEY

I ordered a shower screen from Bath Empire which arrived chipped. I contacted the customer service representative, who argued with me when I asked them to come and pick it up and give me a replacement, that I should dispose of the faulty screen myself. I am a single girl living on the 4th floor of a block of flats. How am I meant to dispose of it?? In the end, after much emailing and arguing, they finally sent me a replacement but I had to pay for a handyman to come and take the old one away in the end and another handyman to fit the new shower screen. I have NEVER come across such appalling customer service; in the end, it would have been cheaper to buy from B&Q or Wickes whose customer service is great. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances - they are rip-off merchants and do not care about the customer.

I ordered some bath mixer shower taps, they arrived dead on time (I paid for next day). My plumber fitted them and they leaked, he tried everything but still leaking. When I had a shower the spray was a very feeble 2inches. I phoned the company and stupidly I thought they were sending new taps OH NO!. An e.mail arrived telling me how to fix them saying they are sending the parts for me to repair. I was speechless. The parts never have arrived. You pay £119.00 for taps and you have to repair them because they are rubbish, it is totally unacceptable. The staff are absolutely unhelpful saying I must have debris in my water. I only had a leaky tap not driftwood in my bath. I have sent them back and bought a set of mixer taps from Wickes, had them installed and everything is fine. It has cost over £200 in charges, it was avery expensive lesson-never use Bath Empire or Luxury for less it will cost you dearly.

This is after the sink unit I ordered was not available. Ordered an alternative & that came smashed & now water leak has damaged this one! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Adequate products but awful after-sales. Started with the delivery of three bathroom suites and one driver who would have left it all on the pavement if my builders hadn't been here. Bought a £200 LED shower head less than three years ago - not covered by the 10 year guarantee - but when it stopped working Bath Empire do not stock spares and no longer stock the product so basically ... tough luck! Yes, it was my tough luck to have bought a product from them.
