Firstly I would say that your prices are to high in comparison with other online retailers. And secondly you have missed sold the item by advertising the product as being sold with a lid when it does not come with one. I am seeking advise on this matter as I feel I was let down by your service and the member of your team I spoke with.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service you received from Barnitts. We work hard to make sure all of our item descriptions are accurate, in this case the item is a frying pan and does not come with a lid, there is no mention of a lid on our web page. The price of the item is displayed on the item page and then displayed again for you to review at the basket and payment stages. If you return the item to us unused in it's original packaging then we would be happy to give you a refund. Please give us a call if you have any more questions.

The delivery service was poor. When I contacted to see where my parcel was I was told they had the wrong address. The address was correct. I had the hassle of going to collect it.

I received acknowledgement of my order by 10/11/16 but by 27/11/16 I'm still waiting for news of when my order will be dispatched. This is not good enough as it's holding up arrangement of works in the house & booking in tradesmen.

Unfortunately there was a long delay with this order, 4 weeks. Then when it was delivered, only 50% of the order arrived with the balance the following day.

No conformation of order email from Barnitts until prompted, no mention on the website that items were out of stock, with a 5 week delay. No email advising dispatch. All in all poor communication.

My order took ages to arrive. Took a month to receive. I had to chase all the time asking where it is. Your suppliers were letting you down. Every time I emailed in the morning to ask if you knew when my order would be met, I had to, each time, send a second email to get an answer as my first one always went unanswered. I even had to telephone as well. Wouldn't use Barnitts online service again.

Was very disappointed With the packaging of my item- the very sharp blade of secateurs was upright and not covered or protected - when I opened the package I almost cut my finger on these!

When we bought the draws online we expected the same service you get from the shops. I ordered on 20/02/16 and did get delivery until 01/03/16 when the web site ready for immediate delivery. We were contacted by your sub-contract delivery driver to say the day he was coming and on the day he rang and said what time he was coming, when he turned up he informed my wife that it was only a kerbside delivery and not in to our house my wife started panic thinking it would be left outside until came home from work she manage to get into our garage with help from the driver. This not the sort of service I would expect from a furniture retailer

Ordered goods on 12th December 2015 for a Christmas present. Website stated 2 in stock, but when goods didn't arrive I called and was told that they weren't in stock. They didn't arrive until 13th January 2016, too late for a Christmas present. The communication from Barnitts was ok, but I felt let down by the service.

I bought a fibre optic Christmas Tree which was delivered to me on Wednesday the 16th of December. Disappointingly by the Friday it has stopped working properly. The red and pink lights have gone altogether. It's now Monday the 22nd and my tree seems on its last legs and keeps switching off. Not sure how I should rate this order as ' poor' sounds like an understatement. Kind regards Emilia

I believe two washers should have been included in the box for fitting together the fire stokers and as far as i can tell they were not included

I only used the pan once to make jam and the bottom of the pan is partially burnt and I cant get it off even with soda and bicarb or soda used overnight. I would like a replacement please.

I ordered a Brabantia ironing board cover, only to find it did not fit correctly upon arrival. I have a Beldray ironing board of many years (that is the size except for 2cms less in length and shape of Brabantia Ice board) and have had a few Brabantia covers that have fit of the size I ordered. I did get in touch and explain this fact, only to be informed that basically if I ordered it, then if it didn't fit, then to return the item back to Barnitts. I did ask if Brabantia could have been a little stringent on the size in this new cover. I was advised to send it back with me paying the return postage. I then asked, if in this case perhaps they may forego this cost. I waited a few days to be told basically, I had ordered this size and if it didn't fit, this was my fault and no, they will not be prepared to help with the return postage, which would have been £3.20. I feel disappointed that Barnitts are perhaps just not interested in their future client base. There possibly could have been a little better dialogue and/or some kind of compromise is this situation

Took over a month to deliver an item. Communication was rubbish, I must have phoned and emailed about 8 times over the month, only once did someone return my call, but items didn't arrive when said they would. Won't use again.

Very disappointed with service had to keep ringing as order never arrived and just kept getting told to allow longer on my 4th phone call another was reorded and arrived today 28th.staff told me different things about how it was sent if you check my order number the member of staff who i kept speaking to has very poor customer service skills but I will say Jessica sorted it and was lovely.

The dryer had taken a couple of weeks for delivery and DPD who delivered it sent it to the wrong address and a MR Patel signed for it. I called up the Internet team here for help and guidance and there was no one available I eventually called up DPD having felt left abandoned who retrieved the item and redelivered it

they dont seem to have much stock, so when ordering i found i had to wait two weeks for a kitchen bin. Really!? these days thats an obscenely long wait for a simple item.

Although the items ordered were delivered with no problems, the amount of notice given was ridiculously short. I had an email advising the delivery would be the following day. Luckily we had someone at home that day. Any other time and we would not have been able to receive the goods. Please provide a longer notice period of more than 24hrs.
