“Great solid furniture”

“Placed order for sofas, was originally told 12 weeks this then changed to 15 weeks, then changed again and again, sofas were eventually delivered, one was damaged, I had to phone up a third party to arrange for repair was told a further 2 weeks, phoned B&S complained, third party then came in 4 days, third party fixed it and said that delivery drivers had damaged the sofa. After approx 3 months stitching came loose on sofa, another phone call and photos sent another repair team out to repair. Poor customer service, poor delivery installation, poor quality, would not recommend.”

“Everyone that works here in Battersea B&S are so friendly and helpful. I’ve bought an armchair, a garden chair, a rug, and a mattress. Each time I’ve been, it’s been a pleasure. Staff are well trained and knowledgeable about the products and timelines for delivery. Great experience!”

“Tables are of ok quality but a little disappointing after a nearly 4 month wait Not kept up to date with details just silence with me having to keep calling to find out the status”

“This product looks beautiful at first but you cannot even split a drop of water on it without it marking. The insurance they provide does not cover this and when going back to Barker and Stonehouse after care they send you the ombudsman details to take it up with them.”

“I have had a bad experience with these chairs. Out of the 8 I purchased 6 have broken. The metal on the legs have snapped. However Barker and Stonehouse have replaced every chair but they’ve still broken.”

“Very poor after service.Sent the wrong scatter cushions.When my Three piece suite arrived there were two buttons missing Took 7 plus weeks to replace them All wrong information given by the sales man.I will point out it cost me nearly £3 thousand pounds Might I point out there is a very peculiar smell coming from the suite .Iwas informed that this would go in time.Probabley due to the foam cushions .Very very disappointed.”

“Great sales support in placing the order. A huge wait for delivery driven by the manufacturer. Delivery was at the agreed time and by courteous people. An issue with wrong cushion covers was resolved quickly and the fabric fault was adressed quite quickly but a longer wait again by the manufacturer and we are finally all good now. I hope we dont have to test if the replacement cover was 'treaded' with replacement like the rest of the sofa was. Over all very pleased with B & S”

“Sofa & 2 chairs are fabulous. Transformed my lounge. Great quality. However, we waited 12 weeks when we were told 5 weeks in the store. We had to sit on deck chairs for 7 weeks which wasn’t good!!”

“i found the whole experience very easy and hassle free , no pressure from the sales team, they allowed me time to have a good look round the very good selection of garden furniture they had in stock and were very knowledgable about the whole range, would highly recommend to anyone after garden furniture”
