“A pleasure from start to finish with Barker and Stonehouse.. Their customer service is friendly, helpful and approachable. Their lead time was actually quite good for a sofa supplier (I spoke to lots).. And their sofa is just beautiful, we really love it and we're super pleased we paid that little bit extra for quality. Thank you 5*”

“Excellent support from Mel at the Gateshead branch. Delivery was later than expected. However Mel and his team kept us up to date throughout the process. Furniture has now arrived and we are very pleased with it. Very happy customer. Thank you B & S. Gurpal Harrar”

“The two Garrys delivered my replacement Tempur mattress on the 30th March, and were top class thank you. Kelly and Linda in the showroom have always been most helpful and patient with all my questions, and get five stars also. Thank you to Barker and Stonehouse for living up to their 40 night replacement deal; much appreciated. I bought four kitchen chairs some while ago from B and S, which are still giving excellent service, and the reclining chair which I bought more recently is also as good as expected. Thank you Barker and Stonehouse.”

“The desk arrived with a lot of damage, including multiple scrapes and a very bent metal drawer handle which we cannot fix/bend back without snapping the handle off. The quality of the build is also not very good. There are nails protruding where there shouldn't be.”

“Product range is attractive and good quality but delivery charges are ridiculous. Lovely good value coffee table cost £79 to deliver. Would have preferred to collect myself from one of the shops but they only offer collection from a depot in Crawley”

“100% the worst sofa I have ever purchased, when we went back to the customer service they insisted that there was no manufacturing faults and the fabric was just natural pilling but the sofa was less than 2 years old and looked about 10 years old Just to top it off they arranged for home serve to come out to change some cushions and replace some studs so my wife took a days holiday from work and they didn’t even have the parts needed so it was a complete waste of time and a days holiday It is overpriced poor quality products I personally will never use barker and stonehouse again”
