Will definitely be shopping at Barker and Stonehouse again. You get an exceptional service. The delivery team deliver giving you updates on the arrival of your goods and unpackage the items which so many companies are not doing now. They assemble the goods and place them exactly where you want with consideration for your home. Companies like the Cotswold and Quadtropi need to take notes on how to give exceptional service.

The staff are very attentive, personable and knowledgeableā€¦.. except that when buying a bed recently I was not told it was to be self assembled. This lead to the next issue of paying your delivery men to assemble it which then revealed that the wrong bed had been delivered. Your policy in this regard forbids and blocks communication to the store. Because if this ridiculous policy I had to drive to the store to resolve the problem with in-house staff. Last month I bought a bed for another property In Gloucestershire. I paid for it, it was delivered at the time stated at purchase, the old bed was removed by the drivers and the new bed was carried upstairs and installed. This was good service and salesmanshipā€¦and at NO extra cost. For sure, I will not recommend your Company for beds. A stupid experience. Your Battersea manager David, it must be said, was a brilliant pacifier, rectifier and ambassador for your company.

Very poor service, mix up with delivery date. Mix up with which store I should collect my table from. Send me to the wrong collection store. Asking me to pay more when I collected my table when I had put he full amount when I purchased the table. Harassing me for mor money when the balance was fully paid up.

We love this shop over bought lots of furniture, over the years never complained we have had some amazing deals from this shop, always been treated with respect by staff, no hard selling or pushyness.... They let you decide and then help you... With great advice on your chosen products..... Love barker and Stonehouse and all my lovely purchases.... And we appreciate the great sales team always ready to help

I recently purchased several items of bedroom furniture which was delivered in two lots. On both occasions the delivery service was excellent. The delivery arrived exactly when it was expected. The furniture is well made and items that needed to be put together were easy to construct. Although the wardrobe was a little awkward but not difficult. The sales and customer service teams were all very helpful when I had queries. One set of drawers was damaged but it was not a problem. I was immediately offered an exchange which was delivered within a few days.

Not happy customers. We ordered two sofas from the store in Newcastle, we initially declined the care plan but before we took delivery we called and asked for the care plan to be added which was agreed, when the sofas arrived they had not been treated for stain resistance and the delivery guys looked blank when we asked about the care pack that we should have received. I had to call the customer services and only after they had listened back to the call I made pre delivery did they acknowledge that I had requested the care pack. They offered an ā€˜untreatedā€™ version of the care pack foc as they agreed it was their mistake in not adding it to the order, however this means my analine leather suite has not had any stainguard protection. And I still have not received the cleaning kit Iā€™ve been promised several times. The last time I called their customer services and told them I was dissatisfied I was assured that they would email the aftercare company to see if my suite could be ā€˜treatedā€™ retrospectively. This was over a month ago and Iā€™m still waiting for a response and still have not received the cleaning kit.
