“We had a very satisfying experience when we used Banner-Jones to update 2 wills and also create 2 powers of attorney. We dealt with Sarah Allen, solicitor, who was very pleasant, helpful and obviously very knowledgeable. We were also impressed by the fact that in Sarah's absence her secretary was very efficient and able to deal with our queries instantly. The price I felt was very fair and I would recommend your firm to others. James Durrand.”

“I wouldn't hesitate to use the Sheffield branch of Banner Jones again. I was worried at first that not always being able to speak to the same person all the time would result in a lack of information being passed and people not being up to date on the stage the sale of my house was at, when I called. This was absolutely not the case; everyone had the up to date info and could talk to me with confidence- very reassuring. Despite my having to do most of the contacting ( which I did find a little annoying at times) , my calls were always returned if no one was available and my emails answered and I was never made to feel like a 'pain in the neck' for calling. Correspondence being emailed to me was great. I was informed of extra costs incurred before the work was undertaken. All agreed deadlines for actions were met, for the sale of my house to proceed- which is more than can be said for my buyer solicitors !! Thank you for providing me with a great service.”

“Unfortunately I had to chase on a number of occasions as the work was not being progressed and then at the end of the process I was informed that there were additional charges as certain aspects had not been taken into consideration when the fixed price was quoted at the beginning of the work. I even went out of my way to turn documents round on the same day and deliver them by hand which on a journey home from Sheffield to Barlborough took me out of my way and meant I had to take time off work to get the documents to your Dronfield Office. So sadly it was not the best experience for me and whilst you were recommended to me I would struggle to recommend your services to a member of my family or a friend.”

“Banner and Jones, and in particular Mr Oliver Maxwell, quickly and professionally understood our problem, and wrote us a very easily understood letter outlining the further courses of action available to us. “Banner Jones provided an EXCELLENT service. I would recommend this firm to anyone. I was dealing with this company in the spring of 2014, as it was handling my first ever house purchase. My bank (Lloyds - name and shame!) let me down very badly on the day of the actual purchase and if it wasn't for Banner Jones's exceptional goodwill and amazing customer service the whole deal could have fallen through, leaving me hundreds of pounds out of pocket. That didn't happen, entirely due to Banner Jones, so if you're buying a house and need to take on a law firm then I would definitely suggest you hire them.”

“We had excellent attention from Andrew Fielder with whom we had a cordial working relationship. The process we went through was long and involved my having to engage with the National Highways Authority, North East Derbyshire District Council, Derbyshire County Council, National Grid and the last owner of land before it was adopted as a highway by Derbyshire County Council. Throughout this long period we felt we had solid support and sound advice from Andrew who transacted all the legal business very effectively and delivered a most satisfactory outcome. We certainly commend Banner Jones as a wholly reliable source of legal advice.”

“We were very pleased with all aspects of the service we received. All phone calls were returned promptly and emails replied to quickly . “Maryum Khan dealt with the conveyancing of this divorce property with excellence it has to be said that she was also very compassionate and diligent with this matter as the circumstances were not always without conflict. I appreciated how well Maryum explained everything in simple yet comprehensive terms and left me with no doubt about the process from start to finish. After 18 months of divorce proceedings and one of the hardest periods I have experienced in my life I was confident in Maryum from start to finish and she has without question helped me move on with my life closing the last door on the process so that I can move on personally I should like to convey a big thank you to her. “Richard Barlow and Rob Stubbs could not have been more helpful. They were both involved in the administration of our daughter -in-law's estate and could not have been more empathetic. We always felt that nothing was too much trouble and they gave us first class legal advice. Since then we have engaged Richard to revise our wills and draw up powers of attorney. Again, Richard could not be faulted for his help and advice.”
